- In todays video I will be cutting the rear of the evo 9 to install the vortex rear over fenders.
I also got some new falcon tires for the TE37s and they look amazing. I cant wait till the evo transformation is don't. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL!

For the rear fenders i would 100% primer those cuts immediately to make sure no surface rust forms. If there is surface rust, use a wire wheels to get rid of it first. To seal it i would assume you use automitive seam sealer since it should slightly fexable and watertight after it drys. Dont use jb weld. It will crack and fall off over time allowijg moisture to build up in your fender and rust it out.
I'd primer the bare metal and then seal with either seam sealer or something like sikaflex or tiger seal.
Wheels look great, but that mae me cry watching you cutting up the arches 😂
Love how it's looking! Regarding filling in the cuts, I've seen people use spray foam to seal it up. I'm not sure if this is a for sure solution, but might be worth looking into. Keep it up!
It's a great color combo! Looks really nice on the Evo. And you're a brave man cutting into the Evo lol. Keep killing it.
Just found your video! I have a grey EVO 8 and I’m also planning to respray my work XD9 to mag blue! The colour combo looks so good!
I’m just undecided about the colour of the brake calipers. Don’t want to go with the OEM red. Have you thought about changing the colours of the callipers?
