thanks for these great tips! I repackaged my bath bombs and put them in organza bags i also crushed some cinnamon sticks with some star anise and pine essence to make my own potpourri i put this in a organza bag as well and to finish it off i added dried holly berries I've also done some with rose petals and lavender. I always do red rose petals potpourri organza bags for Valentines day and during the winter I dry out daffodils so i can make Easter ones

Well done Rosie! Not everyone has the money to give expensive gifts and you've given great ideas to anyone who is struggling. The original packaging was naff and now they look countrified and home made. 😘

Lovely ideas Rosie. Also to get the labels off glass, heat the label with a heating tool or a hairdryer till the glue gets soft. Then they come straight off.

I love a bit of cellophane wrap!! Just put together gifts for my work colleagues, got them an initial mug, and put a hot chocolate, mini bubble bath and a mini chocolate Santa inside. All wrapped up with cellophane and Christmas ribbon :-)
Again you have transformed ordinary everyday items into gifts that look so luxurious, I will definitely be trying out these gift ideas this Christmas.

£15 and 4 lovely presents you really can’t go wrong with that, I think my fav is the burner and jar, with the wax melts I would be overjoyed to receive that I really would.

amazing cost effective tips to make things look more expensive - only thing with the jar of bath salts - either use a smaller jar or more salts to fill it up as it looks like you've sampled them before gifting them...will defo use some of these tips though...

These are great ideas. I used to do similar things for the school events raffle in Colchester. Always looking for bits and bobs to make a nice prize xx

Love the grey jar with the lid it could also be a plant pot.
the heart shaped bath melt with the rose petals would
also look lovely in a organza bag which could go
straight into the bath.
The silver heart is lovely.
A nice cheap white hand towel could be used in the baskei to bulk it out a bit. Great ideas Rosie will definitely use the sweetie jar and fill it with harribos as I usually buy my son the packets and just wrap them up ty xx

Rosie, you are right...all the packaging is “naff” lol. Your intention was to make something “ cheap” look expensive”. Well you have nailed it...i loved watching this, and the gifts are beautiful, if someone gave me one of these, i would be delighted. I am not long retired, and i can watch you when i want. As many on here have said, “ you are a breath of fresh air”, your down to earth and funny. Ihope you and your family have a great Christmas x Margaret

Also now & again, boots do a buy one get one free in the royal jelly bath stuff which I love. I did a nice basket for my mum-in-law one year and also had enough for myself too 😉 sometimes it just takes you to shop around, and I could shop all day. 😀
I don’t hv a bath, just a shower and I find a lot of people don’t nowadays. You could use some cheap Primark clothes from sales as material instead of the sack too. You could buy packs of matches to add to the candle package. Seeing as polystyrene cannot be recycled, you could use under the sack material to pad out the hamper.

Great ideas Rosie. The pot and candle wax burner is lovely. Red wax melts could be done for Valentine's with some rose petals in the wrapping

Absolutely amazing ideas for presents.
Another idea is a lovely mug (multipacks on amazon etc etc) filled with a few hot chocolate sachets/those hot chocolate spoons and loose mini marshmallows and do the cellophane thing that you did with the wax burner! Perfect for teenage friends Christmas pressies, secret Santa’s etc

Thank you Rosie, I loved all of these ideas. I’m definitely doing the sweetie jar and the candle burner, they seemed much more expensive than they cost. That last idea you had with the hanging heart plaque was brilliant! I’m always trying to convince my mum in love she should move in with me, so I’m going to write ‘Rosie’s Roost’ - yes that’s her name too - and hang it on the door of my old shed for a joke. Xx
Great ideas. I purchased some pretty tote bags that were on sale and wanted to give them to my daughters and granddaughters with spa-like products, but didn’t have time to make all the products. I didn’t think to buy and repurpose, but now I know how to do it. Thanks!

If u take the labels off plastic retro jars and dip half way up jar in emulsion alow dry makes a exspensive looking jar for wax melts or something I did to laundry jars looks great and these great ideas cheers these xx

Hi to make it look a slight bit better use old newspaper in a loose screw ball and then put the material over and then put stuff on that to make them come to the surface more and look more full. Also you could wrap the string round a few more times it makes it look more expensive and more posh ..I love your ideas my mum makes gift baskets for charity's all year and I learned a few secrates. :)

I find that the tray boxes that items are displayed in are great for making hampers. They get thrown away when they're empty, so I get just them if I see a nice one with no markings or writing on it. I ask if it's OK to take one and I've never been refused as they're only destined for the bin.

You could do a foot or hand one . Even Shower/bath one and s hair one. Well done ❤
There were a lot of xmas presents given in 2019 from poundland.. people too broke to care.. i no i received them too but its the thought that counts 💖💖 Poundland ☺☺☺ for those of us who struggle on a budget...
The Jar filled with the tea candles and the wax melt and along with the wax melt burner was a great DIY upgraded gift...also the Retro Sweets Jar was another amazing idea 😁.

Brilliant Rosie . I did something similar last year , but yours look better ! . This year I have shredded all of the free supermarket food magazines. From Aldi , marks etc because they are hard paper and so colourful and Christmassy , and used them as stuffing for all of my presents , they would be useful in your baskets . 😊👍 x

Stumbled on your channel and enjoyed watching this and subscribed, :) the only thing i would do when making up a hamper is copy the contents of what is in the products and do a pretty printed little card to add into the basket as a lot of people like to know what ingredients are in the soaps and bath bombs etc, thanks for sharing :-) xxx
