I knew you would conquer this. Here's an idea? Mount a rail on its long edge, congruent with the see saws hinges, so it is midpoint on the vehicle right behind Link. This should create a first person view and help make the vehicle fly more level. If a rail isn't heavy enough or hight enough to accomplish those two things, maybe another object would work.

Actually I have a gunner model to show off as well. It's the model THIS was based on but needs no perishable parts. It's quite fascinating to handle.

The point is it not needing a stabilizer. Stabilizers hinder movement and consume extra energy. You could certainly go for that if you wanted though.
