This part allways strikes hard on all reactors.
"But tell me does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you
    Does it feel the same
    When she calls your name"
Anyone who has gone thru breakups will most likely tear up. It is a very sad song performed by Agnetha in a very emotional way. Thank you for your reaction!

Hello, nice yo see you again with another reaction to the Sweden pop group ABBA, the leads in 70s, the decade post BEATLES
"The winner takes it all" is for me the best interpretation of a song that I heard in my life by any singer or band
It is interpretation, because it is more than just singing, it is also acting and transmitting, and Agnetha does all that and on a superlative level
Beyond the morbid that the story of this song produces (the lyrics about a divorce, written by the guitarist Björn, and sung by his ex-wife, the blonde Agnetha), the structure reflects a change: it is the first time in all ABBA songs that whoever has the leading voice has been alone from beginning to end,
She goes one way and the choirs go the other (they do not add up, they remain in the background)
and in the end She is left alone passive and exposed, while the chorus and the music finish so up
That is why I feel that Agnetha does an extraordinary performance (extraordinary: out of the ordinary)
Her face is always very expressive and accompanies the various tones and nuances of her majestic vocalization.
"The winner takes it all" is a great song, it's in my ABBA Top 5
It is the favorite of British fans,
but fundamentally is the one chose
    by Björn and Agnetha
and Their own words is the one that is worth more
I like you for a new reaction to the classic worldwide hit "Chiquitita", specialy in the premier at United Nations in January 1979, in the Concert for Unicef:
    ua-cam.com/video/oMIw_y9uRT8/v-deo.html
    My best wishes for You
    from Buenos Aires Argentina
    and GOD bless you!

Thanks for the ABBA reaction. Not one of their happy songs but a masterpiece. Her and her husband "Who Wrote the Lyrics" were going through a divorce. They also had two small children. He wrote the words, she sang them and they really laid out the sadness of a divorce.

#But tell me does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you?#
    "Of course not"
    Such a heart-wrenching reaction... 😭
Quite simply a musical masterpiece (in Gflat major). Sheer genius from the timeless Super Swedes, and their best song in my opinion (I love this song so much that I have learned to play it on my piano - very hard! But very very satisfying...) Thanks for this. A very poignant and melancholic reaction. Blessings to you...

Hello again, so nice to I see your second reaction to ABBA
I love so much the Sweden pop group ABBA
They have more than 20 worldwide hits in several countries of all continents, included
    Waterloo
    S.O.S.
    Mamma Mia
    Fernando
    Dancing Queen
    Take a chance on me
    Chiquitita
    Gimme gimme gimme
    The winner takes it all
    Super trouper
"The winner takes it all" is one of their greatest hits, #1 in UK and several countries, #8 in Billboard U.S. and #1 in Adult Contemporary U.S.
"The winner takes it all" have a deep lyric writen by the guitarist Björn and singing at lead vocal by his ex-wife Agnetha, that gives an emotional and powerful interpretation with her lovely voice
note: Agnetha & Björn was separated at the end of 1978 (with two young children) but the legal divorce was in the middle of 1980
after this, Björn wrote this incredible lyrics
(obviously included part of your own history),
and the songwriters give Agnetha to sing it
at first She cry, but then put all your feelings and emotions and talents to this amazing performing
I hope to see you in another reaction to ABBA songs
I suggest their first worldwide hit:
your iconic glam rock "Waterloo" at Eurovision 1974
when ABBA begin to be famous for win the edition in UK 1974
    Stay safe and be care
    And have a great week!

In Abba, the women (singers) and the guys (composers) were together as couples when they started, then as they got popular, the fame and opportunities saw them drift apart, but they still made a few albums after that - so they put that sadness about their relationships ending into a song. Thanks for the react!

It is a divorce/break up song. I was a teenager when this came out and I cried, 40 years later I still might cry with it again, so how she is able to sing this while going through a divorce is awe inspiring.

ABBA - first initials of each band member, who were two married couples. Both marriages ended in divorce. I think it was Bjorn who wrote this & had his soon to be ex-wife sing lead vocals. Talk about awkward, huh? It is said that Bjorn found a new girlfriend within weeks of the divorce. Benny had a side chick while he was married to Anni-frid. Both women eventually got remarried themselves.
ABBA is considered a supergroup being as they were a musical sensation all over the world, hitting #1 in many other countries outside of their native homeland of Sweden. While most bands have a "signature sound", ABBA is unique in that most of their songs sound completely different from each other. That is because ABBA always delved into other genres of music. So they have a library of tunes that sounds like old school funk, disco, rock, pop, & even Spanish "flamenco" style influence (in the songs "Fernando" & "Chiquitita"). Please check out the following - Gimmie!Gimmie!Gimmie!, Fernando, Does your mother know?, Voulez-vous, Take a chance on me, S.O.S., Waterloo, Knowing me knowing you, & Money Money Money!

Compare this to Katy Parry or Lady Gaga.
Im a metal head and this makes me cry.
Todays pop is *PATHETIC* in comparison.
    Abba, Roxette and Michael Jackson.
    It was a different era.
Pop was actually a good genre.
I May not like it cuz Its not my cup of tea...
But I respected it cuz it was actually GOOD.
