I added labels to my cards like your recommendation but still get overwhelmed on when to use my freedom regular, freedom unlimited, freedom flex, and sapphire preferred. I don’t know when to use which one since freedoms are % cash back and the sapphire is x points back, and don’t know which one to use with and when to.

My fav hotel was there in 2019 for my honeymoon - its a bummer that they downgraded the shampoo it was previously Bvlgari

I generally use points when I can get outsized value. My Bonvoy watermark is 1 CPP. This is close to 2-3 CPP in value (CPP = price / points needed)

Video was filmed Oct 2018, but nothing drastic has changed to the experience. They still offer the same activities, rooms, and maybe a varied menu.

What's the minimum night stay there? Looks awesome.
There's no minimum, but 2 nights is ideal to try the activities you want. We stayed 3 nights, and felt like a bit much.
How many nights do you think is the sweet spot for staying here? Would be splitting between here and in Dubai city proper.
2-3 nights is the sweet spot. Must do activities are falconry (morning activity) and sunset camel rides.

How much did this trip cost all said and done???
Our Dubai trip was relatively affordable. All hotels in the city booked w/ points, and Al Maha was w/points. Main costs would be alcohol (we don't really drink), transportation to/from resort, and any extra activities you choose.
If only we can resume travel...I can’t wait and until then I can live vacuously through Mandy and Sebby ✈️🐪
