Im looking for a pedal to give my broaden my acoustic guitar sound canvas. Could you recommend a pedal that's more suited to acoustic guitar. The Pico pitch fork is amazing. I'm thinking more along the chorus or flange direction. Cheers in advance
I’ve gotten to the point where I favor small pedals. I’ve been using a lot of the Ibanez mini pedals. These look to be a little more feature rich. I’ll be trying one out soon.
And this, folks, is why I hate watching Electro Harmonix's demos... Up until today I was convinced I didn't need another pedal on my board. It literally wouldn't fit, there's no room for it, which is why I use a clip tuner. See? I didn't even make room for a tuner! Still, now I feel like I need this little pedal on my board and I'm even considering placing my mini HOF under the board in order to make room for this fantastic little fellow pedal. Goddamit! Why would you do that to me, Electro Harmonix? I thought we were friends!
Where does EHX find or get the opening clips/old cartoons for many of their video demos? Love the aesthetic and vibe of those vintage clips. Really makes the demos even cooler! Any info appreciated. 🙏
For much of the demo I placed it in front of the amp. But you can place it in an amps effect loop. Placing it before distortion sounds great and very natural but more synth like after distortion. Its best to experiment and see what you like. There is no wrong or right way to do it.
A Momentary Latch of Reason
I ordered the entire series!!
Bill always sneaks in 1 Pink Floyd song and my want for the pedal doubles. You can't keep getting away with this. Spare my wallet sir
Geez EHX just sneak attacked us with seven new pedals 🤯
Too much of a good thing?
Phil McKnight called it... when things slow down economically, new releases are the thing to stimulate sales!
Nine*
I still prefer the original Pitch Fork, I am glad I got it years ago.
This is a great version anyway and Bill Ruppert amazing as usual.
Tracking sounds pretty good!
EHX for life!!!
That Gilmour tone, nailed! ❤
Oh man, the David Gilmour example!
Hey Mr. Ruppert. Your effect ology videos were pretty groundbreaking for me as a player
I click for the pedals, I stay for the kick ass playing
The original PitchFork is the only pedal I’ll never get rid of
you're gonna sell a million of these! I'm getting one
So good!
the smallest size yet high quality
whammy sound!
All very amazing but I don't see a selector knob anywhere.
The shift knob selects the pitch. Bottom right knob.
Does SWEEP knob control only rise time? I wonder if there is way to control rise time & fall time separately
The rise and fall are the same. The Pitch Fork+ pedal we make allows you to control both rise and fall separately.
How is this different from the POG?
The POG has separate controls for the volume of the upper and lower octaves
Damn EHX out here really tryin to take all my money!

Can you use this on acoustic guitar? Don't see why not?
Yes!
Yes. Just keep in mind, you are going to actually hear your acoustic guitat too.
You'll continue to hear the acoustic, and sometimes things like this can build up frequency in your pickup, leading to feedback.
Shame not to see a bass demo for this
Can this be used for a bass or is there a pedal just for a bass?
yes
It can be used with any amplified signal.
Anybody wanna buy my pitchfork ?😅
I have Pog 2 and use it only for volume swells. Is there anything smaller that can replace it? It’s getting too big for my pedal board.
Guitar to bass and Octave Up sweep are worth it alone!
Once you have a pitchfork and a freeze pedal on your board it's incredibly hard to get them off.
Just use the regular velcro, not the heavy duty stuff.😉
Those may go on my new pedalboard build. 😁
I've been using a HOG2 for years but the pitchfork freeze combo is going to replace them as soon as I get hold of them

me: kinda bored with the pedal, seems too gimmicky.
6:04 comes along: HOW QUICKLY CAN I GET ONE
OH WOW. I have the original. DO I really have to sell all my stuff to get all the pico pedals now? :D

LONG searches of old film. Thanks!
@@EHX Thank you! Rock on! 🤘😇🤘
I love the size but having to gauge the intervals by ear turning that tiny knob is a major L.
Can you drop tune to d standard with this?
yes It drops the entire guitar down to D not just the 6 string
Amazing poly shift in a perfect format!
Is the algorithm the same as the standard series or has it been improved?
Yes it has been slightly reworked
@@EHX great, thanks for answering!
Sounds great! Need one for Guitar to Bass, would this or your BASS9 be best? Thx
For just Bass the Bass9 is the way to go!
Does this do pitch shift? From standard to half step down tuning?
Yes
terrific!!!
What does the DSP stand for??
Digital Signal Processing
Where do u place this in the effects chain?
Probably after a compressor and before anything else?

I usually place pitch in front of dirt.
