  • Today we have a delve into the XC Race 2 sunglasses by Van Rysel
One thing to note: These don't seem to have the pink reflection on the inside of the lens in harsh sunlight that the ROADR920 had.

I bought these in store and the box had a tyrip, but after opening the case there was only 1 nosepiece. I got to the service center and they opend al other 6 cases in store and only 1 had two nosepieces.

I am sorry to hear about your experience, that was the experience I had too, these should be in a perspex security box with one pair on display for customers to try. Can you let me know which store please?

Thanks. I miss some info about the quality of the lens and if you check certifications of vision protection

They are polycarbonate lenses so are impact resistant and block out 100% of UV light. In terms of distortion, there is none that I could perceive and in terms of glare, these don’t seem to suffer the same inner lens glare as on the ROADR920. Let me know if this is not what you meant.

I can't find the actual width of the lenses anywhere, is there some spec sheet available? You say they are pretty huge, but how huge exactly

17cm width lens at it’s widest, not taking into account the curve, temple to temple is 13cm, 6cm height at it’s tallest.

Is it good for night driving?

Not If you mean in a car? Since speeds are higher. I have used them at night under street lamps on the bike at slower speed and they are ok, still better to have a clear lens at night.
