It's not a proper oil change unless you have 1/3 in the bucket 1/3 all over yourself and 1/3 all over the floor!!!

We had a really good 2594 yrs ago almost 10000 hrs on it ... did injectors , lots of tires , new radiator ... about all .... was great tractor .
Tyson you need to talk to Pete on just a few acre's he just painted the muffler on his MD with a muffler paint and it looked really nice maybe he could tell what paint he used

That is how the hydraulic filters are on the 2390s and 1270s and other bigger ones are I agree that they are kind of a pain in the ass the smaller 90 series are much cleaner and easier
Yep, that 15-40 is like finding a needle in a haystack. Ufa finally got some in a couple weeks ago, but it disappears fast. Think guys are starting to hoard it a bit since they couldn’t get any for a couple months in there.

Fill filters before installing perhaps? No dry cranks.
I do in my 1370, filters go on the same way so it's easy to fill and spin on!

If your case ih dealer does bulk oil 10w40 might be cheaper then pails of 15w40
Wheels look great on that tractor, Tyson. What's the temperature up there? Going to be 90 this week here but cooling off again later in the week to the 80s. If I remember correctly there was a bad heatwave up that way last summer. Am I correct? Thanks for the video.
Yes you are correct..it was in the 100s at the very end of June I to July. It's cold and wet here...just got another half inch today..water everywhere

Fired up my old girls. No dead batteries but one blew a rad hose and another had a valve stem go on an inner dual all while moving them up for a service. Might as well get the dumb crap outta the way before seeding. Lol 😆
I put straight #30 in my 4690. That's what the book recommends 🤔

Them 504s hold a lot of oil in em. I was surprised at how much my 3294 took. I think that 2594 would look better with original white on it.

@@Northern_Farmer Since I know it's a 6spd, one thing I'm going to tell you(you've probably heard it already) is that when you pulling hard loads try to keep the power shift in even gears, If it's in 1-3-5 it's using the splitter unit and that thing ain't built for the horsepower or torque of the 504 where as 2-4-6 are as they would be 1-2-3 in a 12spd powershift.

Have u had to or had to have someone e l se rebuild an engine on any of your tractors.
None of our tractors have had to be rebuilt...except for the 770...had a cracked liner from overheating..so put new liners and pistons
What is the main purpose for that tractor, what do you use it for?
Pulling the smaller equipment that we have still...spare tractor.
