I actually use Google Maps as my Yelp replacement. The reviews there have been pretty on the nose in comparison to my subsequent dining or shopping experience.
I'm with Aron. I don't use Yelp at all and I've removed it from my devices. I utilize Google, and of course try to read the reviews as objectively as possible.
Not really an app, but “Scott’s cheap flights” is really awesome for finding flights to cool locations on a budget. You put in your email and local airport and they send you emails when there’s a cheap flight there. Recently saw one to Iceland for $400 round trip.
Anyone have any travel apps they'd recommend? ⬇️
Wanderlog?
- Skiplgged
- Hotel tonight
- Geocaching
- Reddit
- Google Maps (offline maps)
Instead of Yelp, I like Google Maps or Cool Cousin!
Haven’t heard of cool cousin, I’ll be sure to check it out!

I use google reviews from time to time as well, maybe I should start to lean into it more. Thanks for letting me know!

I would really love to see this channel grow. Really good content! Take love from India❤️
Thanks so much for the support!
I use Google Maps but I never knew that I can download maps for later use. Thanks for the tip!
It’s a lifesaver if you ever drive or travel outside of your cell service!

I’ve heard of this one before, thanks for sharing with everyone!
MapsMe is number one maps app. Free offline maps is a killer feature
Thanks for sharing, I’ll definitely check it out!
Maps.me is better for offline maps. Stores maps until you delete them.
Got a couple recommendations for this, I’ll definitely check it out!
