Went car shopping. The 2 salesman in plaid suites kept saying, oh you’re so pretty, do you have a sister. I was 19 and grossed out. Yuck dudes no. Went across the street where they talked to me like a normal person and I bought a car there.
Oh my last car buying experience. I hate haggling so, I emailed a bunch of dealerships within a 2hr radius of me. It’s cheaper to go outside the area a but. 3 places replied. 2 had the same price. I had a specific car and model in mind and 3 color options. They both said they had the cars. I made an appointment to buy one for 2 days later. I had also gotten a loan beforehand so I didn’t need to do all that paperwork. I called one of the places and she said, we have plenty when I asked about the colors and I told her, I do not want, white, grey or gold. She again said they had plenty. I showed up and she pointed at the white, grey and gold cars, I was so pissed. She then said, hold on I’ll talk to my manager, she came back with, well we can order it, I needed the car that day, she said they had a black car but it was the SI model which cost $2k more. She walked away to speak to her manager again, I had printed the emails out and I called the other place. While on the phone with him he went out and took a picture of one of the cars. I got up and walked out and told him, I’ll be there in 30 minutes. The saleswoman called me and left a rude message saying she was busy and had other people waiting so I needed to go back. Why would she have other people waiting for her if I’d scheduled an appointment 😂. I had no issues getting the car I wanted at the other place for the same price.
43:36 They might have wanted the lotion for someone else and been allergic to it themselves. I have several nasty skin allergies, DEFINITELY DON'T rub crap on anyone without their permission. That's bang out of order.
A friends friend (now my good friend too) went to a bicycle store, they tried pushing an expensive model on him, he had enough real fast when he realized they are just trying to squeeze anything out of him, so he asked around friends if anyone is familiar with bicycles, and a friend pointed him to me. I'm working in the bicycle industry for over a decade and was glad to help him out. Asked him about his area, where hes going to ride, if hes going to ride in the rain, off road, carry stuff, and matched him with one real quick while keeping his budget in mind. He sighed a huge relief and said ''finally someone who's professional and has my interest in mind''
Back in the mid-80's, sort of pre internet, an encyclopedia salesman came to my door. I did have a young child but money was really tight, so I was a bit hesitant to commit the 40 plus dollars per month for the pay as you go books plan. Salesman told me that if I did not purchase the encyclopedia, then I was a bad Mom! I instantly saw red and kicked him out of my house! By the time my daughter entered kindergarten, computers had become the new tool of education, and she'd already been online for a couple years. According to her kindergarten teacher, she entered reading at a fourth grade level or above. So F that salesman- my daughter did just fine with the internet! Oh, and she's in her 40's now, does coding, and is making a very good living for herself and family.
Even pre internet, unless you lived in the middle of nowhere, most towns (and all big cities) typically had libraries in the US. Very rarely did you need your own encyclopedia sets, they were nearly always public available use for free. We weren't struggling for money, but I still went through more books than it would be comfortable to buy or attempt to store at home, so the library was a pretty regular visit and a must for research. I would only buy a select few series to collect. Everything else was a library borrow.
the number of salesmen who are blatantly misogynistic ignoring the woman buying the item and only talk to their husband/boyfriend/father and wonder why they don't make a sale stuns me adding after watching more, why would you even mention financing to a dealer if you arranged it elsewhere? I always got my personal loan with the best interest rate I could at a bank or credit union first before buying stuff, then when approved and the money was in my account went shopping and paid cash
God the misogyny. My sister saw a car she really liked at the local KIA dealership. I went in with her and explained that I'm just her brother, along for the ride as a second person. She is the one buying. He only talked to me....... like only me. They then gave her crap when the bank said they will not approve the loan cause it was over KBB value. Something I confirmed myself. (Don't worry tho, they brought out a piece of paper that said it was under value. Source?? Who needs sources??) Never going back to that KIA dealership.
lol my dad once told a car dealership “okay so offer me the lowest price or I’ll go to your competitor. Do not call me and offer a better deal. If you do I won’t buy from you.” Dealer tells him “ok we can sell for X” my dad nods and says “let me think it over.” That night they called him and said they could offer him “Y”. A lower price. My dad told them to shove ir and went with the other dealer out of spite. 😂
Not quite the same thing, but after telling a salesman that the administration of the library where I worked had decided the $5k price was too high for the database subscription he was selling he told me he would speak with his boss and get back to me to see if he could get a better price. He called back later and went into detail about how much effort he had put into haggling with his boss and that after much effort he had managed to negotiate the price down to $6k and asked if the library would accept that offer. He seemed to have forgotten that his previous offer was cheaper.
For me it was when the saleswoman trying to sell us a car didn't know how they make the color green. Kindergartners know that, and I didn't really want to buy from someone who didn't know something that simple, because who knew what else they would screw up. For my husband, it was when the same lady insisted she could do the out the door price we were trying to get, then added on a bunch of nonsense fees for things they hadn't even done to the car in question. They sold it several months later for less than what we had asked.
100% this, if it borders on harassment then I'm not going with that business. It also makes them seem desperate and not confident in their services if they have to be pushy about it.
I went to buy a new car. I'm a single woman. When I requested to test drive a stick shift car, the salesman said I could ride along, but he would do the driving. He didn't actually say "little lady", but his subtext was clear. Good. Bye.
That one confused me too, only thing i can think of was that he was rude about it, either that or there is some information missing. Personally, that seemed like a dream salesman, just straight up saying "i'm unable to meet your requirements" instead of trying to BS around shit.
Oh! I have one for this! (i actually have a lot, but they're mostly just attitude issues) But this one was nice! I was walking to the checkout counter at lne of those gas stations that thinks their the destination. And before i even saw the cashier i looked at and reached for some novelty candy,l. He just says "theyre mot worth it. They're tooth breaking hard and taste like crap." I pulled back my hand and went with a classic peanut m&ms instead. 😅 Good man, there.
I had the same over from a tv salesman for the NEWER model. I bought it online and they call me saying they didn't have it after I already paid. Same price but the Samsung TVs of that model the next year were worse. No full array backlighting, cheaper MOBO, not good quality for gaming etc. I said I did my research. I want the year old model I asked for. We ended up paying marginally more for a larger size of that same model in the year I wanted as he didn't want to issue a refund since it was through a 3rd party.
Asking as someone who has driven old, mechanically operated cars her whole life: PEDAL LAG!? Like, the sort of lag you can get in online video games? In a car that you're driving in real life? How is that even acceptable? No wonder there are so many wrecks these days.
Wow, something as important as a house... the person selling it to me just wouldn't be a factor, at all, in either direction. Once it's said and done I'll probably never see them again, but I'll be living in that house for years, maybe even the rest of my life. It doesn't matter how lovely or horrible they are, it just wouldn't be a factor.
The problem is that if the person selling the house is sleazy and dishonest, what problems might they be hiding from prospective buyers. You might dodge a bullet and save yourself the trouble, rather than wading through the bs.
We were getting estimates from different contractors for a flooring project. A representative from one company was incredibly rude from the start, kept talking over me, complained about the color of our home. After his third strike (I like to give people a few chances) I told him to get out of my house. His boss was not happy with him when I called to decline their service.
My wife and I went to a motorcycle dealership in Conroe, TX a few years ago to buy my wife a cruiser. The salesman kept ignoring her and talking directly to me. " I think this one is a good fit for her smaller stature" or "what color are ya looking for ", crap like that. He kept asking about what payment we were looking for even after telling him it was going to be a cash transaction. He wouldn't F-ing listen. Out of frustration, we left. We ended up going to another dealer in Humble, TX and paid cash for a bike. We never went back to the dealership in Conroe.
If you're going to take your car for a training at the dealership, always give them a spare key. It is a very common tactic for them to hold your keys hostage to keep you from leaving. If they do try to hold your keys hostage and you didn't give them a spare key, then call the police. Or at least threaten to.
My previous car had been wreaked in an accident that I was not at fault. My friend directed me to a local dealership that she worked as a secretary at. We talked about what I could afford and how I didn't want to lease a automobile. The day had come close to 5pm. The salesman told me that I would have to wait until tomorrow for a test drive because the dealership wouldn't allow test drives that late in the day. An appointment was set up for me to do the test drive. I thought to myself "Aren't most cars sold latter in the day, when most people get off work?". The salesman walked me to the door. I opened the door to step out just to hear and see a another salesman handing keys to a man, saying "Here are the keys for your test drive.". I never went back.
When a dealer of any kind write down a price on any support to show you rather than tell you the price, just run. It's a trick make you think they applied some kind of rebate and that they had to calculate the result. All in all, that's a lie in disguise.
When I was in my 20s, I used rent a center a lot because I didn't know any better. The last time I went in, there was a new manager. Who told 24 year old me who had been paying way too much for sh!t electronics at that very store since I was 19 that I would need my parents (both of which had been deep in addiction longer than I existed) to come and sign the paperwork before I could buy anything. I rolled out my most creative insults dripping with southern charm as I called her a gaping puss dripping c*nt and have bought all my electronics from Walmart and best buy ever since.
I tried to trade in my beetle, kbb offer was 6400, they "appraised it" and offered me 3k after making up some bs about "transmission issues" that it didnt have. I owed about 5600 on it at the time and walked. They made sure to tell me i wouldnt get a higher price anywhere else, meanwhile i had seen lower trim models with similar miles at dealers for 10k. I had a buyer private party for 5500, but unfortunately the car was totaled before i could sell it
I have my own story about a car sale that threw me off. Found a really cool looking Mercedes-Benz which was used, about 4h away from us. The ad said it had slight damage, but the price had matched that really well and wasn't bad at all. Around,, 5k? Well, we make an appointment, go there next weekend. Car has bumps on the hood, as if someone had walked on it.. Sound system was completely broken, and fixing everything would've cost us a thousand or two. Bad part was, the seller wasn't there, but his wife was. She did not accept any negotiations on the price, as we tried to go a thousand lower, but no. We declined on the deal, and left. Annoying that we drove 4h to see a car that did not have SLIGHT damage. Pretty MAJOR damage rather..
Why is it all about cars? I have a story that isn't about cars: When I was in high school, I got a job in fast food that needed me to wear black shoes during work. So, I went to buy these shoes at a shoe store, where a saleswoman, a girl that was maybe two years older than myself, came to help me. I told her what I needed, and she went into the back and came back with these $600 designer sneakers that no poor hs student could afford. When I told her that no, I need something for work, she came back with, no joke, military boots that cost around $250. An improvement in price and application, sure, but not nearly what I actually needed, which were generic black shoes I can stand in for a few hours, and didn't cost more than at most $50. Sadly, I was still an awkward hs student, so this girl still got a sale off of me at the end, but that was one of the worst salespersons I ever encountered. I get that she just wanted the high commission, but COME ON... read the room!
yes, you want the best deal possible when you’re spending anything more than like 8 grand. it’s too much of an investment to just go for one of the first two or three you see, it’s best to do lots of research and searching
@nick-tu2xh yeah but why test drive all of them? From what the story says they have a test model, so you're not driving the same car you buy. He's already driven that type of car three times.
@ yeah i didn’t hear the test model part, that makes it different, my original argument is so that you can know for a fact that the car runs well and everything works the way it’s supposed to. that’s out the window with a test model.
I was 16 and passed one of those mall lotion kiosks. It was a guy that grabbed my arm and started putting lotion on me every time I tried to pull away he held tighter. Thankfully my cousin 6’3” came up behind me and told him to let me go. I don’t know if my cousin would have done anything (he’s more Labrador, than doberman) but the way to forward snake oil salesman looked like he thought my cousin would. Not sure he learned his lesson, but maybe he did.
I work at a dealer. And since we don't sell brands everyone wants. I often get asked to join friends/family at other dealers. As soon as they see me walking in with my company shirt or sweater. They start offering deals and everything 😂
1st story. those type of sales approach me i walk, you try stop me i i ignore you, warn you. only 1 sales man has ever gained my respect. he got me to go from 30inch to 60 inch tv and thats cause he was right, for some reason a payment pplan for it (was planning on financing it anytway) was cheeper.. he even waited till i came back once i had gotten a job. because of that i asked for him personally when i returned
Why are there so many situations in this video where I would have either a) screamed blue murder or b) whipped out my phone with video recording or even c) called the cops so much earlier just to get these salespeople to back off?? Millions of phonecalls aka harrassment, intimidation via indirect threats, blocking the way, touching, GRABBING??? Insanity. Also: "it's only [insert at least hundreds of dollars] extra! Surely you can pay!" Suuuure buddy. Then it's only that "little" of a discount for you to make a sale, right?
While a bit different.... In early 2017, I went to Brick Lane in London one day. There's a place full of Indian restaurants. Was checking their menus to decide where to eat. Problem is, almost all of them had a barker, who'd come out and keep talking about why their place was the best. I ate at the one place that didn't employ a barker (but who knows, maybe he was just sick!)
Talking about those lotion people in the mall, reminded me of when one of these people conned me out of what little money I had in my bank account and gave me a $200 tub of some kind of cream they were selling that I wasn't going to use at all. Like, this person would not take no for an answer and she was like eventually, let's just see how much money is on your card, and then decided to just charge the sale without my consent. This is why I don't even humor these people anymore.
When? As soon as they introduce themselves, I'm gone. Easy. I don't see a problem... (Or more when they walk towards me, they don't even have to speak... hah!)
The person saying that sales people are obsolete has no clue what they're talking about, and while I no longer do computer and home or office technology sales, I guarantee they never knew more than me about what I was given to sell. Currently, I'm enrolled at RIT in a Comp-Sci/Cyber Security masters program, I'm a certified ethical hacker and offensive network security specialist, and I have a home lab with over $1M USD in equipment alone. Assuming you know more than others is a terrible mistake to make, and quite frankly if you're coming into my store with that kind of attitude, I'd rather you did go anywhere else who's happy to have you. Your business wouldn't be welcomed. Is the customer always right? No, not even close. But if you're coming in with a combative and arrogant point of view, I'd rather not help you buy anything.
He didn't exactly talk himself out of a sale. Just the opposite. Husband and I were in the market for a new car. The salesman pretended I wasn't even there. Wouldn't look at me, wouldn't answer questions, looked away when I stood right in front of him. Yeah, we went elsewhere and reported him to management. I've always wondered why. Was it a religious injunction to not associate with unrelated females? (And if so, *new car salesman* would appear to be a very bad career choice.) Was he an incel and disgusted that I, a mere female, should want to drive a new car? Or what?
For those wondering, there is no way racking the slide of a pistol can do any more damage than shooting it 9mm pushes 4000 pounds of force on the slide
I once was car shopping and I have a tall over 6ft husband. When he sat in the back seat he had to crook his neck to fit. The sales guy said “is that a problem?” 🤦🏽♀️
Story 75: it's "puh-RAM-us", and most businesses on Rt 4 are this pushy. Not all, but many. Anything I go up 17 to Ramsey to do, I have a good experience. Just better people in the Ramsey locale for some reason. Paramus is a city built mostly on businesses and those two major highways, so... yeah. Can verify that's probably exactly how it went down.
Had my old car blow out the transmission after 500k miles and went in to start the process of buying a car and the lady acted like selling a car on that lot was the last thing she wanted to do. Left, went to a different spot in town and had someone actually find things in my budget and fitting my needs
Yeah, had some similar experiences with some dealerships as well but i got a question for anyone to answer. When i bought myself a new car my dealership asked if i wanted to trade in any vehicle, I traded in my really rust $hitbox of a truck and then the guys at the dealership acted weird when i only want to trade in that truck only. I had another car but it was my first and I'll never get rid of it, if you wondering what it is, it's my moms old Ford explorer saleen xp8 she gave it to me as a bday gift been with my family for a long time too. I never really understood why, but glad they backed off when I told them i was gonna go somewhere else to buy a vehicle
To piggyback on the vape shop one I work for a regional sector of a extremely large multinational company and at one point recently there was a radio host on the local radio telling people if they wanted to complain about something my company sponsors (but has nothing to do with outside of just sponsoring) to just call the local office for complaints. I lost so many brain cells answering those calls from old white boomers.
Because eventually they'll make streaming just as ad heavy, and if you pay for Cable your Internet is often way cheaper. That can sometimes save you 50-80 bucks a month.
Netflix has ads now lol so there's goes that whole "no ads" thing. Lots of streaming services are pushing ads on their cheapest/base price subscriptions. You need to pay extra to not get any ads anymore.
@SnowieShiba yep, and the prices keep going up periodically. It's gotten to the point where if you have a few streaming services (because heaven forbid one streaming service would offer all the shows you want to watch), it is just as expensive as basic cable used to be. It sucks bc streaming was supposed to be better and cheaper, and now it's just getting to be the same greedy corporate strategy with a different delivery method.
Test-drove a used vehicle. Was ready to make a cash offer and the sales guy was like "yeah, one of my mechanics bought it and upgraded x, y, and z, but it turned out to be a money pit so he asked me to sell it." Um. Have a good day, sir.
I went to a chevy dealer, drove there in a 2016 chevy cruze sedan for a oil change. Decided to let them try to sale a new car to me. They showed me a 2018 chevy cruze sedan. The salesman tried to convince me by saying "its sporty like those Honda Civics." I pointed out that I came here to a chevy dealer in a Chevy. Why the hell would comparing it to a foreign brand convince me to buy it?.
Am in the market again to completely replace my bed: base, mattress, the whole shebang. The way my finances are at the moment... let's just say I'm only replacing because I **have to**. One time, I happened to be in this shopping area that I'm usually nowhere near (awkward to get to from my own area, most shops there have other branches in easier spots) & notice there's a bed store there that I didn't realise was out there. Because finances, I straight up said CHEAPEST. Don't mind what other features, CHEAPEST. Did she take me to cheapest? Nope. Did she make a comment when I saw the actual cheapest one in store? Also nope.
Not only has she ensured I would NOT buy there, right now, but ever. I also have warned 3 more groups of people looking to buy beds or other things that they stock there. Hope that $250 you may have gotten out of me, was worth the thousands you dropped in the 3 or 4 other orders, lady... fsht.
He should have just called the cops if they refused to give him back his car keys. Punching him would have put him in the wrong, I understand his frustration, though. Salesmen talk themselves out of sales by being so obnoxiously pushy. I bet it's worked in the past, though, and they have many unhappy customers. I hope he left a terrible review.
I wanted a new car. I went to a dealership and they mostly ignored me. I am a nurse as a profession. I also own horses. I was dressed in my jeans and tee shirt. Not dirty just not dressed up. When someone did talk to me it was like 'you are not a serious buyer...' attitude. Went to their competitor and bought a new car.
Story 15... Ive had similar with a auto electrician place that also sold car speakers. I asked if he had X speakers to demo, he immediately said "we have them but they wont be accurate to what you want because theyre not gonna be where theyd be in the car" like no shit dude, I just want a general idea... Told me "you wouldn't like them anyway because theyre too clear and you young blokes just like bass"... He then went on about his fancy brand of speakers and how theyre so good blah blah. I just stopped listening to the idiot, unfortunately i was too polite to just walk away... Ive since used online shops to buy all my car audio gear and just learnt everything i can to make it all sound as good as possible. So the guy being a dick ended up making it better for me because now i do my own audio setups and i dont have to worry about it fucking out and not knowing how to fix it.
Jfc, you'd think selling a car wouldn't be THAT fkin hard just by being a decent person. But no, seems some car salesmen just go out of their way to not sell any cars.
Friend wanted a new car. Did her research. Worked numbers. Contacted her bank to assure a car loan. Knew what model she wanted, and all the specs. When she went into the dealership and told the salesperson she wanted a new car, his first question was "What colour would you like?" Dude did NOT make a sale that day.
S1: either its fake or this is somewhere im not familiar with. As resident in the state of MI that has bought 7 cars (i just counted), at no point did i hand over the keys of my current car unless it was a lease i was returning. The fact that they had his keys to begin with is alien to me.
I got lucky at frys when i had to replace my mobo on my old gaming rig the guy not only said if you see what you like at microcenter well match the price so i got a really top of the line msi board for cheap and the guy said ss well " build custom gaming rigs ill take good care of your baby." he even got he cables routed around the back which i counltdnlt get since hte case was an inch shallower than most. Howefver i went to a small dealkership tha had a sport trac witrh a mustang engine in it. I wanted that it was in mt price range. THe sleazy salesman tried to talk me into vehicle that was out of my price range and not waht i wanted. i spoke to the manager and long story short i got the trac i wanted and the salesman got canned
Vape shop dude forgot the first rule don't talk politics at work. Don't matter what side you're on. Unless you work in politics, it's an awful idea. Heck, someone can have my same political view, but they pop off while I just want to shop, and I'm just annoyed.
"Flight platz from other agents"??? seriously??? what about the claim you "work extremely hard to serve us the highest quality story reading content"?? who is we? chatGPT text to speech??? how can you both claim you work real hard and not fking proof read your damn captions??? like arent these copy/pasted from reddit anyway? where does all this hard work go into??
Any door to door salesman who assumes I'm a child. I'm 26 now and it's getting a bit ridiculous! Not long ago I was sat down gardening in the front garden and a door to door walks over and says "hello, are your parents in?". At that point it really didn't matter what he was selling, I wouldn't have bought it if it was an annual pass to Disneyland. If you want to make a sale, don't assume the person you're talking to is a teenager/ child. Instead ask if the homeowner/ bill payer is in.
Love that 90% of the stories are about car salesmen 😂😂😂

lol my dad once told a car dealership “okay so offer me the lowest price or I’ll go to your competitor. Do not call me and offer a better deal. If you do I won’t buy from you.”
Dealer tells him “ok we can sell for X” my dad nods and says “let me think it over.”

They sold it several months later for less than what we had asked.
dayum bro did the opposite of his job 😂😂😂
Old narrator my beloved 😢
Being too pushy is a great way to lose customers
100% this, if it borders on harassment then I'm not going with that business. It also makes them seem desperate and not confident in their services if they have to be pushy about it.
Car dealerships lose money on cash deals!
They make money on finance, warranties and credit insurance!
Cash doesn't impress them.
I went to buy a new car. I'm a single woman. When I requested to test drive a stick shift car, the salesman said I could ride along, but he would do the driving. He didn't actually say "little lady", but his subtext was clear. Good. Bye.
"i wanna buy a car"
"ok, but you can't drive it"
Hae?
Bring your husband back with you!
I sold cars. I've seen it all!
Lol. Never buy from a salesman that says that!
33:49 bro was upfront about everything and op still complains. Should he just have lied about it???
That one confused me too, only thing i can think of was that he was rude about it, either that or there is some information missing.
Personally, that seemed like a dream salesman, just straight up saying "i'm unable to meet your requirements" instead of trying to BS around shit.
@@TheOystei I'm betting OP was upset because it sounded like the salesperson just didn't try. Took one look, declared "not happening" and moved on.
why is old narrator being featured less and less
He's dying from cancer 😢 and Is moving on from the channel before he passes
Huh?@@AdamIvie-gz6cg
@@AdamIvie-gz6cgoh no I didn't know 😢😢
Newer voice actors are probably cheaper or old narrator tried to ask for more money for the six times longer videos.
I like this guy more
I'm glad that the nice lady from Sunrun got the order which she truly deserved.
Good man, there.
Haven't watched the video yet, but I'm guessing there's gonna be a lot of stories about car salesman incisting a woman needs her husbands approval ...
"What's the problem? It's the same price!" Dude answered his own question.
Ay, make sure to take breaks..! Happy holidays narrator dude.
"I'LL GIVE YOU YOUR KEYS WHEN I'M GOOD AND READY".
"OK I'm ready."
Asking as someone who has driven old, mechanically operated cars her whole life: PEDAL LAG!? Like, the sort of lag you can get in online video games? In a car that you're driving in real life? How is that even acceptable? No wonder there are so many wrecks these days.
Definitely could use some of the Spark today.
They get 3%. Guess it depends how much you like this house. You'll lose a year and that particular house.
I won't ever upgrade UA-cam or buy anything advertised!
Well, you were shopping at rent a center. It's safe to assume customers there are idiots.
1:02:47 AS THEY WHAT
I tried to trade in my beetle, kbb offer was 6400, they "appraised it" and offered me 3k after making up some bs about "transmission issues" that it didnt have. I owed about 5600 on it at the time and walked. They made sure to tell me i wouldnt get a higher price anywhere else, meanwhile i had seen lower trim models with similar miles at dealers for 10k. I had a buyer private party for 5500, but unfortunately the car was totaled before i could sell it
Story 24: hell nah. You run my SSN without my consent, I'm coming back with the sheriff's office.
You’ve been posting everyday for like 2 weeks keep it up ur vids are 🔥
Why is it all about cars? I have a story that isn't about cars:
When I was in high school, I got a job in fast food that needed me to wear black shoes during work.
12:48 if he already test drove 3- then why does he have to test drive a 4th? Is this a normal ghing - to test drive multiple same New Cars?
yes, you want the best deal possible when you’re spending anything more than like 8 grand. it’s too much of an investment to just go for one of the first two or three you see, it’s best to do lots of research and searching
Story 25. Omg. That should be punished
Praying that everyone who watches this video is safe and healthy
If this video is viewed by 10 thousand people, chances are some are sick, unsafe or both
But a prayer never hurt anyone, so thank you
@@danisilviu8508 Assuming they ever work, sure why not.
I’m happy the US voted properly this time.
Unfortunately it is watched by redditors instead
1st story. those type of sales approach me i walk, you try stop me i i ignore you, warn you.
only 1 sales man has ever gained my respect. he got me to go from 30inch to 60 inch tv and thats cause he was right, for some reason a payment pplan for it (was planning on financing it anytway) was cheeper.. he even waited till i came back once i had gotten a job. because of that i asked for him personally when i returned
Surely you can pay!"
Suuuure buddy.
When they knock on my front door and when I answer a phone
Ford explorer isnt what I'd call small. It's not massive, like an expedition, but it's not small.
Or what?
For those wondering, there is no way racking the slide of a pistol can do any more damage than shooting it
9mm pushes 4000 pounds of force on the slide
I don't even have any physical experience with guns and I know this. How was that sales person so inept?
Also 4000? Damn, that sounds like a lot!
@@Lemau not really, it's just about enough to cycle the slide
I once was car shopping and I have a tall over 6ft husband. When he sat in the back seat he had to crook his neck to fit. The sales guy said “is that a problem?” 🤦🏽♀️
Story 75: it's "puh-RAM-us", and most businesses on Rt 4 are this pushy. Not all, but many.
Anything I go up 17 to Ramsey to do, I have a good experience. Just better people in the Ramsey locale for some reason. Paramus is a city built mostly on businesses and those two major highways, so... yeah. Can verify that's probably exactly how it went down.
Me: I want to buy this tablet
Salesguy: that's only available with a contract
Me: OK, bye (also pretty sure that's illegal)
Had my old car blow out the transmission after 500k miles and went in to start the process of buying a car and the lady acted like selling a car on that lot was the last thing she wanted to do. Left, went to a different spot in town and had someone actually find things in my budget and fitting my needs
The 3 narrators I know are

The first episode is straight from a Malcolm in the middle episode.
What game is that??
Story 37 I would’ve called the cops when they blocked my door cause HECK NO
To piggyback on the vape shop one I work for a regional sector of a extremely large multinational company and at one point recently there was a radio host on the local radio telling people if they wanted to complain about something my company sponsors (but has nothing to do with outside of just sponsoring) to just call the local office for complaints. I lost so many brain cells answering those calls from old white boomers.
Cable tv why pay so much just to watch ads 75% of the time while you could just get a Netflix subscription and watch whatever and whenever with no ads
1:52:25 Could that theme maybe be because if they found a good salesmen first time they wouldn't have a story to post here? Hmmm.... makes you wonder.
Bay Ridge Toyota! Another mob owned dealership - my ex got fleeced there
Story 61: Sound like a scam

38:00 patrol heads lol
90-95% of this is car sales... One of medium intelligence might see a pattern here...
Friend wanted a new car. Did her research. Worked numbers. Contacted her bank to assure a car loan. Knew what model she wanted, and all the specs.
When she went into the dealership and told the salesperson she wanted a new car, his first question was "What colour would you like?"
Dude did NOT make a sale that day.
Why? Did she not know?
What video game is that?

S1: either its fake or this is somewhere im not familiar with. As resident in the state of MI that has bought 7 cars (i just counted), at no point did i hand over the keys of my current car unless it was a lease i was returning. The fact that they had his keys to begin with is alien to me.
Did you miss the part about him getting an appraisal for a trade in? That's why they had the keys.
@gilded_lady I must have missed that part. Thanks
The first one already got me mad. The rest of the video will be fun, right?
So did anyone's phones start dialing 911 because of this video?

Heck, someone can have my same political view, but they pop off while I just want to shop, and I'm just annoyed.
i love this narrator

Any door to door salesman who assumes I'm a child. I'm 26 now and it's getting a bit ridiculous!
Not long ago I was sat down gardening in the front garden and a door to door walks over and says "hello, are your parents in?".
At that point it really didn't matter what he was selling, I wouldn't have bought it if it was an annual pass to Disneyland. If you want to make a sale, don't assume the person you're talking to is a teenager/ child. Instead ask if the homeowner/ bill payer is in.
