    This is music for the sake of music, not for dancing or something. Just like Bebop, unlike Swing, it was made for just listening so the crowd's stiffness is pretty predictable.
    However, all of these fans in here saying "Yeah, they're just stunned and amazed about the performance. That's why they don't move" man idk. Besides the fact people that comes to the shows are hella different from each other and with different skill levels and first glances, some of you might be joking around and stuff but for the ones that are serious about it (lol), as someone said in the comments, *most of the people in the crowd are musicians* ; and boy, musicians are constantly analyzing and rating the other's playing along the show. I've seen this thing so many times it's dumb to read some of the comments in here; even some of these people are just evaluating the live playing more than enjoying the whole stuff, sadly.
    That's what we got to learn from emotional fans of other kinds of genres. They're living a whole different experience not concentrating on the musicians' missing notes but feeling the music in a more "synesthetic" way. That's a life lesson for many of the obsessed musicians out there, they become technique snobs who just got an eye for music robots.

    • @994bob1
      @994bob1 3 роки тому

      I very much agree. Musicians are very ego centered and often listen to music with critisism and compare them to other musicians.
      I often catch myself in the moment of listening to a song, only to analyze it rather than enjoy it...
      It's a curse really. We should rather take in the creativity and create something our own, than to judge others for not doing a good enough job

    • @c2sora919
      @c2sora919 3 роки тому +3

      I mean, the ideal is to have both, a technical and well-written composition but one that obviously appeals to one's emotions. Heaps of Polyphia fans are fans not because the music is hard to play but there's also an emotional connection that they've made with the song. The reason why musicians are "analysing" these guys' music is because they've never heard it before so wtf are they meant to do? Music made for listening is far more musically integral than dance/pop music, yet more enjoyable because the same emotional connection is there plus there's the factor that these are talented people who can produce music no one else can, unlike these awful pop singers nowadays.
