I made a bedspread doing hairpin lace and used different dye lots. I love the way the different dye lots make the bedspread looks

I love this. ❤️ No Michaels where I live, Kauai, Hawaii. 🏝 Only a couple yarn choices at Walmart, nothing good, shelves usually empty. I’ve looked on Amazon but didn’t see much. Now I must investigate Michaels, maybe online shopping? 😀 I just dug out two old yarns, from over ten years ago, and made my first granny square, something I’ve always wanted to learn, my whole 61 years of life. It took just a few minutes on you tube. Brings back so many memories of my grandma and lots of granny square blankets I used to have. I need more yarn!!! Meanwhile my first granny squares are two colors, camoflauge and light yellow. 🤣 Happy New Year from a new subscriber. 🎉

Thanks Glenda and Cody! You are so lucky with your yarn stores. We have nothing like this in Wales and I would say that you have a lot of yarn selection. I LOVE the Caron Cakes but we don’t get them here. If you can bear it, I know it’s loud and busy but could you spend a little more time on the Caron Cakes and the different varieties? Only if you can. Thanks for your videos I really enjoy your content. Congratulations on your patterns in the store!!🎉 it must make you feel so proud!

Thank you for taking us with you on your shopping trip. It's unfortunate the music was so loud. It would have given me a headache if I were there long, lol! I'm sensitive to noise. Michaels wasn't nearly as nice as Hobby Lobby but still nice to visit!

Wow! If you think that they cut down the yarn in that store, I wonder what you would think about the Michael's where I live. Lol they only have 2 aisles here. Very sad.
I wish we had places like that in the UK 😞😞 I found a 'new' (to our town) craft store last week and went for a look around, let's just say I came out with what I went in with and certainly wont be going again, the prices were astronomical and that wasn't just on their yarn, but on everything store wide!! It's really sweet that Cody does these videos with you, hope Carly is doing well, it's been a long time since we last saw her. I got your dress me up towel topper pattern book last year. Made them all except I got stuck on one of them. Was getting ready to put snaps on them when my brother died. So I haven’t gotten back to them but they are so cute. ❤
Michaels in NJ has Very little yarn brands. No more Bernat brand at all. Everything online is overpriced. I only go to Hobby Lobby and Joann’s

My local store has very very little yarn ever since they put in fabric. They really downsized the yarn department. I do not shop there anymore
Great sales!! I love the trees and your idea for the mantle. Ask them to turn down the music a little bit. They will do it. They want to keep you there. It really is very loud.
Hi Glenda.....after watching this video I had to tell you I made myself a C2C blanket using 2 of the ANNIVERSARY cakes in the colour Purple Fog....it only fits my double bed to the edges....it's beautiful and that was the first 2 of those cakes I ever had....Yarnspirations here in Canada has older ANNIVERSARY cakes on sale which I ordered 3...still to be delivered

Yes, even Walmarts have cut down another. Some people don't buy on line. Don't understand why the stores cut their aisles
