I was so happy Sunday when i went to Michaels and they had Caron blossom cakes. Doing a granny square with three different color cakes. And the cream in between the change of the colors. Saw it on UA-cam. It’s gorgeous.
What a great tour Glenda! My Michaels is opening today after being closed for four months due to a fire. I am going today for sure. Everything has been replaced and restocked and the yarn is 30% off today. Yay!

Loved the yarn. My husband grumbles when I want to get yarn. He said to use what I have first. I do have items I want to make with certain yarn. Thanks for showing us the yarn. I get frustrated when I want the crochet world magazines, and the stores never seem to have it. Great helper you had.😇🙂

The cloud cakes are one of my favorite yarns to work with right now. Its soooo soft. Makes a great blanket

The Caron tea cakes in smoked fruit makes beautiful afghans! Lush and heavy weighted!

My Michael’s still hasn’t had any of the Caron Blossom or Cinnamon Swirl cakes! 😢 I think Michael’s just randomly puts “NEW” stickers on products to make customers take interest in an existing product. I think a lot of those “NEW” yarns weren’t really new colors. Your Michael’s is nicely organized though. 😊
Great Michael's yarn trip. I went to my Michael's tonight, in Windsor Ontario, and they didn't have any yarn on clearance. All yarn was on sale though for 30% off. Thank you for sharing 🤗💖

Thank you, Glenda, for sharing. My Michael's has yarn on sale this week also. That Loops and Threads, Charisma is nice yarn and does make nice cowls and scarves. It is so warm, and is easy to work with, I use an L crochet hook. I made a knit scarf with it also. Oh, so many yarns, love it!

Thank you for taking us along. It is weird the new cakes are dark. They to me are fall and winter colors. But, I seem to use bright cheerful colors all year around. So I guess I shouldn’t say anything. It was fun going to Michaels with you and Cody.
I loved your video. I appreciate you taking us along with you. I really enjoyed seeing what kind of yarn there is out there. Our Michael doesn't have as much as yours. I find it really sad that a lot of places don't have the yarn they use to.

Hi Glenda. I sure love the Blossom Cakes. Always exciting to seeing what you got. 💗I've yet to try Ripple Cakes. Wonderful color combos and I think would make great summer hats. Been so tempted; but trying to work through my lifetime supply of the Cotton Cakes! What a deal on that Capri Tencel! Nice for cool and silky summer shawls. Uh-oh...I'm in trouble now!! 😅

I was in my Michaels today. They had 30% off all yarn and very few clearance yarns. I did find 3 cakes of Cloud Cakes for $5.00 each but that was it. 💜🙏🏻
Nice video, thanks so much. One request, when showing a line such as L&T Impeccable, show or say which Impeccable you are looking at would be so helpful for those of us buying on-line. For Impeccable there is Ombre, Stripes, Speckle, etc. Other brands are probably the same way.
Caron yarn is 30% off from Michael’s online today. I ordered Cinnamon swirl cakes for $9.09 each instead of 12.99

Wow, your Michael's has a huge yarn department! The Michael's here in Monrovia, CA has a dismal selection. One aisle and most is picked over and unorganized. Maybe it's better it's like this or I'd be there buying their expensive yarn all the time. :) Although, it would be nice to have a store local to me where I can actually see and touch the yarn. I tend to buy most of my yarn online. Thank you for the marvelous tour!
Thanks for the tour! Your Michaels is very well stocked. The one by me is always sad sad sad. I've wanted to try the facets yarn but every time I go there they only have 1 or 2 beat up skeins of each color. I know I can order online but I don't want pay for shipping when the darn store is 10min away. Looks like you had a good time shopping with Cody. Hope you got some great goodies!
What a great tour. Guess it’s a regional thing but my local JoAnn’s and Michaels (Washington, DC area) have very limited selections in yarn. Love that Rainforest color way in the Caron Tea Cake. Wish they had it in a 4 or 3 weight. I know I’m weird but I have trouble working the heavier weights (5 and above). lol I prefer working with sport, DK or worsted.
Well, I see Cody did not fall far from Grandma's sarcastic tree. 😂😂😂. He is a very good camera man, and getting better with each video. Hopefully you were able to get what you went there for unlike your trip to Hobby Lobby. I am waiting for Hobby Lobby now until next week when they will have their yarn on sale no matter what. That way I figure, even if they don't have the huge clearance sale going, I can at least get the cotton yarns I need to get. Hope all is well. 🕊️❤️💡

Hi Glenda thanks for the shopping trip to Michael's. Makes me want to ho to mine and see what they have got. I haven't used any of the new Caron Cakes. My Michael's is either sold out or they didn't get any in.

My Michael’s added fabric and really downsized their yarn. What they do have ( very little) just looks like odds and ends

I must say the yarn looks very need al still in a ball , the store's in the Netherlands don't have that much choice in yarn unless you go to a specific yarn store like scheepjes. But dose are pricey. The store's i go the yarn is often all-over the place , i mean the yarn is lose no label because people are pulling on it . Selden we have simmuler yarn that you showed.
I have to claim this store, even though I rarely shop there. My cousin is the manager. ;)

I went to Michael’s this week because I was in the shopping center. A very disappointing experience for me.
I said this on another video of a different youtuber, but Amigurumi is a Japanese word, and is pronounced (ahh-me-goo-rue-me) and not (a-me-goo-rue-me) or (amy-goo-rue-me). The Japanese A does not make the same sound as the American one.
They have nice yarn, but the Michaels I worked at treats their employees like garbage. So I'll never step foot in there again. Sad. Hobby Lobby has better yarn anyway. 🕉️
The one I left also treats everyone awfully. Unfortunately started a large blanket with the impeccable yarn, but yeah... They do not care about their employees.
Such thick yarns - I prefer finer knitting.
Also mostly acrylic - horrible to knit with.
Not a fan of Michael’s yarns !
