My mates and I were asked if we wanted to be in the crowd. Said no because we hated The Word. Terrible decision lol but git to see Sepuktura back to back with Pantera same year.
Haha, I was there, a mate rigged a Fan Club comp and we got 2 tickets. The deal was that I drove which I gladly accepted. I got Igors drumstick which he signed. Great night!
Interesting how the fans of heavy music are in a cage and let out for a treat, this is how it was to be a fan of heavy music, metal or rock in the 90s, occasionally something with a distorted guitar would be on tv or radio, I didnt have sky so had to record 'noisy mothers' at 1 in the morning at the weekend and the Saturday night rock show on radio 1. I guess things are better now as you can just explore music endlessly, and maybe people aren't put into categories, trends and genres as easily because of this.
I also remember watching this on tv,I’m from New Zealand and was living in London at the time and as a matter of fact I recorded it on vcr and also went to see them play at the Brixton academy that year
The golden age of late night TV.
this is so perfect, great live sound, great energy, great performances, great crowd response...literally 100/100
