Saying Hi from LA California! You guys deserve more views and likes. Excellent prep, chronographer, content, narration, and a great sense of humor. Keep the pages of the world coming.
Thanks for watching! If you haven’t already seen our Chengdu video, I 100% recommend adding that city to your itinerary. It’s a beautiful city, and the pandas can’t be missed.
How I absolutely adore you two! Being blessed doesn't hold a candle to knowing you are blessed and expressing gratitude for it. The shot of your dangling feet and the panoramic vista with the voiceover should be immortalised as one of the most inspiring moments on footage. 👍
You're the sweetest! We appreciate this so much - it was an incredible point of reflection. Like Rishi said, we never thought we would make it to China. So, sitting on top of the Great Wall was so surreal. Blessed is the right word for it :)
I absolutely love your drone footage! I'm surprised the Chinese let you use your drone in such an iconic place as the Great Wall. I flew my DJI drone last week as we were 4-wheeling up to Engineer Pass. Sadly, I don't use my drone often enough to stay familiar with its quirks/behavior and ended up crashing it in the trees there in the mountains. Luckily, it wasn't far away and the drone had marked its last known location so I was able to find it. It sustained significant damage and now I'll have to find a way to repair it. The final seconds of footage is exciting though! I don't think I could handle the summer heat and all those stairs. But you two are young and strong. Keep on truckin'!
Don’t tell anyone, but we had to use some stock footage for a couple shots - we couldn’t fly our drone in China (or at least we didn’t want to chance it). I’m so sorry to hear about your drone, though! I’m sure the last few seconds of footage are hilarious. On the river cruise we took in Borneo, Rishi forgot the physics of landing his drone on a moving object and his drone flew full speed ahead into the boat - luckily only crashing into the dining table (no people were hurt). Got pretty lucky it wasn’t damaged, and the last few seconds of that flight are priceless.
So, for the Mubus bus transfer, entrance ticket and buffet lunch we paid 200 yuan per person (~28 USD). There's an extra cost for the cable rides up, 140 yuan per ride. Since we visited both sides of the wall, we paid an additional 280 yuan per person (~40 USD). So, for one person, it was around 68 USD for what we did.
