40 years ago i grew up in calloway, co. my favorite thing about that area was LBL and Kentucky Lake & Blood River, New concord. cool place to be an adventurous kid.
I recommend using Gia and or the avnenza app to help navigate. Some of the trails can be poorly marked. We had the most fun taking the blue trails to each point of interest. Just beware of getting too close to the water.. can be very boggy!
This was great! I live about 2 hours from there. Last time I was there we were all on 4 wheelers, I flipped mine going down a huge hill, busted 3 ribs, ended up riding another 4 hours then a two hour ride back home. Good times, I haven't taken my jeep there yet. I hope the trails are better marked then they were in the early 90s! New sub as well. Thank you!
Hey thanks for the support ! Wow that’s certainly makes for a memorable trip haha. I’m sure you were hurting pretty good on your way home. The trails are marked buuuut not the best I’ve seen. Hope you enjoy your next trip down there and may it be less painful 😂🙏
Me and my buddy are planing a camping trip down there in our jeeps this year. And only think I’m worrying about is do I need to go and out a lift on my Jeep or will I be fine and with all train wheels on there. I do have a winch and stuff
You should be able to do the majority of the park with no lift. Just gotta be careful near the beaches with the mud. My first couple trips there I only had all terrains and a winch.
Great vid! Something to consider is maybe level out the volume between the music and when you're talking. I kept having to turn it up to hear you and down when the songs came on. Other than that thanks for the content!
We’re from IL but we travel down a couple times a year. Yes we have plans on posting more videos! We have 3 videos we shot in Utah and Colorado that we’re working on now. Hope to have one out sometime in May!
Stop at the visitor center and pick up a map. It’ll have the camping sites and all of the trails along with their difficulty rating. Recommend using Gia gps as well. Some trails aren’t marked well and we got lost a little bit our first time lol
That was awesome y'all. You look good together.. 👍
Thank you for this video. It helped me plan a trip.
Awesome, so glad to hear !

@The Midnight Snack
Are y’all from this area? And do you have plans to post anymore videos? I subscribed in hopes to see more content

bro turn the music down! Great video though.
How do you find the trails and camp spots for here?

Get the Avenza app and download the map for Turkey Bay. It will track you and you'll always know where your at and which trails you've been on.
