As a fellow Alaskan, don't look back! Keep moving forward buddy. I'm rooting for your success. By the looks of your products you will do fine. Totally top of the line, first class.
Well done Kris. You have done a great job with the cutting boards, cheese boards and coasters. You have earned the opportunity of moving to a new shop and expanding your creative business. I'm jealous...LOL. Well done and done well.
The space efficiency is nothing less of inspiring. I feel like I would at least need a 3 car garage to do the things you do in a single. With that being said, we could all learn a few things from you here and I appreciate you sharing this with us!
By putting in so much attention to detail, plus the effort and perfectionist finishing, you will not have to compete with far eastern copies. Glad you charge a price that reflects how much of 'you' goes into your products. Well done artisan.
I almost feel exhausted every time I watch one of your videos, WOW, The time, the patience, the attention to detail, you are amazing and quite a craftsman. I love watching your videos. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us. Good luck with the new shop and I can’t wait to see the next video. Your daughter is absolutely precious and I love the relationship you are building with her. Take care, stay safe.
It's incredible to see you make so many new jigs and holders for specific steps in your production process. Very clever. Taking the time to make the right tools to do the job -- very impressive. And the results just look a feast!
Kris so nice to see you moving forward and the warehouse just put me in tears happy tears for you and your family. This is Pam the nurse heading to Montana Saturday for a travel nurse job for a couple months. Looking forward to buying more stuff forever a happy customer friend and supporter of your gift! Blessings to you and your family now and always in all ways. 👩⚕️
Mate, you are a hero for the small workshop owner. I've been there in a tiny space. Man I felt pain when I saw how many sanding disks you laid out ready for the coaster. What I love and what people should notice is the care you take in setting things up. That's where the discipline is. Best of luck as you expand!
I am so glad to see creative and hardworking people succeed and benefit from the power of the internet. It just so god damn wholesome :3 Great upload and love from St. Petersburg Russia

Kris.... Your videos are like watching a great movie. We have to wait for 4 months but it's sooooo worth it. So happy and excited for you, your family, and the the new shop.... Thanks for sharing all of it with us.... Your wood work and video editing are phenomenal as usual also....
I am speechless at your workmanship. You are an artist at your craft. Congratulations lad. And thanks for the inspiration. I am 66 and I have learned a ton from you.
You Sir, are one dedicated individual, a master of your craft, I’ve watched all your videos and can absolutely say I haven’t seen you settle for anything less than the best. From your biggest cutting boards to the coasters (which are time consuming beyond belief), I am blown away, keep up the great work, wishing you the best on the next step, I hope none of your products ever become rushed, Some say they live to work, Others say they work to live, I think you just “Love your work!” Isn’t that what we should all strive for….
great work! quick laser tip: If you don't want the smoke to get into the wood (smokey effect of engraving), you can tape it off with some painters' tape.
My son and I are just getting into wood working together as a hobby. We are learning so much on UA-cam about wood working. Your wood working videos are our favorites. Please keep doing more wood working projects. Much success my friend.
I’ve been in carpentry as a side craftsman for probably 30 years - initially taught by my Dad and later by UA-cam :). I love watching your videos .and learning from them. I made a batch of 17 cutting boards recently inspired by you and they came out beautiful. I absolutely love the beauty of wood colors and grains that reflects the very God who created it. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos and I absolutely love your work. Keep inspiring yourself and the next generation watching you. You are an encouragement and breath of fresh air to the world.
A couple of thoughts from someone who had a large shop, To save on time and efficiency, put your most used tools right next to each other. I know you're going to have a lot of space now but walking back and forth between tools can eat up a lot of time and energy. Also it would be a really good investment to have a cnc machine. You could do precision planing and some custom designs that aren't difficult to learn/cut. Best of luck with your endevour and looking forward to seeing more!
Just started making cutting, charcuterie boards and trivets a week or so ago. A passion has been born. I just discovered your channel. I’m an Alaska-born fellow living in Florida. I love you going through the steps, doing the time lapse, sped up parts, love the camera angles and the clever camera before/after lapse shots as you’re planing the glue ups and love you including your little girl in the video, showing her what daddy does. I just subscribed. You are definitely big scale building! I hope business does this well for me in the cutting board type field as well. Thanks for doing a great job on your videos
Excellent job Kris. Congrats on your success so far. You deserve it. You've worked hard and its coming through. You have the right concept, never sacrifice quality or rush it.
And i might add, watching as many times as you tirelessly set up and take down various tools and tables just to get through the manufacturing process, I’ll say if anyone deserves the upcoming larger shop space, its you brother

Watching your videos is an inspiration, and I always learn something new. I'm excited to continue watching your adventure. Good luck, and thank you for taking us on this journey with you. Hi Damien! Much appreciated. Would still love to make it out to Galway and visit sometime. Cheers
You are awesome! spent 43:44 minutes of my life saying: they´re must make it. Their shop deserves worldwide recognition. They deserve it! Congratulations on the magic you do in such a small space. First time here and will never leave. haha. Love from Brazil.
I just came across you and your work. Congrats on the move from weekend warrior to full time . Love the shop. You have some nice toys. Love the way you explain and show how. Thank you for the insight in why a board cost so much. Beautiful work. And your daughter is great to watch to.
You work very professionally. I congratulate you wholeheartedly.
I come here for inspiration and leave to hit my shop. Thank you for sharing all this. Thanks for being a maintainance and preparation enthusiast. Thanks for making me want to get back in the shop when I have moments of creative drought. Looking forward to all you have planned!
