The national guard is nothing but people that join for free school, old people that have just stayed in or recently joined, then the very few younger people who want to be there.
@@TheGoatGrunts I’m national guard. I have a great civilian job. I don’t need school, money, health care or citizenship. I believe in serving my country and the people of my state. I’m a 12B. We constantly go over mount operations and demolition. Our engineers or assigned to the infantry and we put work in. I get to blow things up and do all the infantry stuff. So, I guess everyone’s experience is different. But, don’t sleep on the guard it’s like this guy said, it is what you make of it.
He may have joined at an older age. The military is having a huge problem recruiting right now, if this guy wants to help serve his country let him do so.
To everyone with positive comments thank you, the rest of you 30 yr olds living in yo mommas basement playing COD, go pound sand. I have 16 yrs in. Blew out both hips in training accident and had both replaced, which had me on profile for about 6 year between the two hips. And I came to drill 1 week after my replacement on a walker and worked the whole weekend despite being given time off. Then I got cancer and for the last 3 years I drilled without missing a day. Have never failed ACFT test and over never failed tape. Yes I gained 30 lbs during chemo. It was a little tough staying on top of the gym when you lose a kidney and during chemo. I have been promotable since 2019 and when I questioned my CO/XO why I am never promoted, it turned out that our unit had a crappy unit admin that screwed a bunch of guys and never documented our PT cards for 5 years. I also have 15 out of 16 good years and only 1 bad year because the army would not let me report during 2022 because I declined the Covid shot.
Looks like they took from him, at least 3 to 4 pay grades / ranks. I know everyone is dying to know what happened to him. I bet he would tell if asked. I remember a soldier that was an E-6 (Army) on a Friday and on Monday at PT formation he was an E-3 cutting grass. Got his 2nd DUI. This was at in the 90s at Ft. Bragg.
That is the oldest corporal I have ever seen. There are 1 star Generals younger than him. Why the hell didn't he ask about that? So, you're the worst service member that hasn't been discharged huh? What the hell did he do wrong? I really really want to know.
My man is a 60 year old corporal 👀

Perfectly said if you ignore all the words that followed, "Don't"
Why is he a corporal at that age? National Guard?
He’s 100% a reservist or natty guardsman.
He may have joined at an older age. The military is having a huge problem recruiting right now, if this guy wants to help serve his country let him do so.
Perfect speech my guy
On the bright side he might just be the only E-4 on earth with a 401(k).
Dudes the weight of an e7 with the rank of e4. Wild
Man said “see the world” like you can just request and get orders to a nicer duty station on a dime.
Bro used to be an E8 😂
There also a buffet at the dfac

Is the Grand Old Man of the army.

So that guy is 80 pounds over weight and 60. I’m guessing he has been busted down a lot.
How old is that corporal!?
Corporal is the leader of the E4 mafia lol
I feel old I am a 1st LT. in the marine corps and he is a corporal
How many times has this guy NJP demotions?

Where do you find these guys?
I guess there isn't any weight standards/limits in the Army.
I want to join but i got no green card😂
I need an explanation
It is good advice but I hope he’s on a program to reach the height and weight standard
There was probably disciplinary action taken against this soldier that likely busted him down to corporal
Wtf w his rank

Super old E4. Not a guy you should be taking advice from.
