Thanks Marlene! Happy to see how to curl as straightening is really easier. Love these kind of tutorials. Would love to see how to recreate the beachy waves as opposed to a curl. Thanks again!
Hi Susan, thank you so much for stopping by. To create the beachy wave, it's the same process. Just take a bit more hair and move the tool a bit faster. However, I will do a short demo on a future video. Great idea, thanks! xoxo Marlene
Great idea! It’s such a skill to do various curl patterns that I would love another video that spent more time achieving various looks. @Marlene, great job. And thanks so very much.😊
I will do my best, but I'm not very good at styling. This was the third time recording this video trying to achieve the correct angle. LOL. I was ready to quit trying. My original footage for this video was over 40 minutes. I'll give it my best shot to show more looks xoxo
Thanks Marlene. You could of fooled me. I thought you did an amazing job!!! I have BT Columbia wig that I've tried to replicate the beachy wave on the ends and nape. It came out OK, but was hoping to see someone else do it to see if you did something differently. Always live all your videos!!!
Thank you so much, Susan! That means more than I can say. I have my 4 year old Columbia. I'm going to try and replicate the beachy waves. That will be fun. I'll give it a go and record it. xoxo Marlene
Hi Marlene, Ive recently bought this tool and have used it for straightening my Stumptown. Its so much easier to use than other tools for sure. Thank you for your demonstration video. I will keep practicing with this too.
Hi Kathy! Thanks so much! I have Stumptown which I don't for too much. I hadn't thought of straightening it. I think this tool is so much easier than some others too! xoxo Marlene
Hi DW, thank you so much! Yes, the fibers need to be wet before curling. Also, if you're using a regular curling iron, the fibers need to cool in order for the curl to set. The best thing to do, when using a regular curling iron, is to wet the section, curl, release and pin the curl. Allow it to cool completely before removing the pin. I hope this helps. xoxo Marlene
Marlene. I am new to wearing wigs and wanted to curl my Stella. I am not very skilled but I will get the hair tool you showed today. I will practice, practice, practice. Thanks for showing us how to do it!
Hi Jane, I know the struggle. My forehead is barely a bit over 2" plus I have a low hairline. I find the wigs that look best are the lace front and the fibers away from my face. While I do wear some with bangs, my preference are the lace front. I'm sorry, but I've never worn a topper and really can't suggest one. Do you have a wig shop near you where you can go and try on some wigs? If you don't, my other suggestion is to find a couple of styles you like with and without bangs and order them. Make sure to look at the return policy. Wigstudio1 has a great return policy, but they're the only ones I purchase from. Try them on for fit, length, and color. Wigs are a bit of trial and error and we really don't know what we'll like until we try them. Just make sure not to purchase from clearance and read the return policy carefully so that you can return whatever doesn't work for you. Please let me know if you have any other questions. xoxo Marlene
Hi Judy, the Tress Allure Cool Flow is to be used only on heat friendly fibers because it gets too hot for regular synthetic. Fo your synthetic, it's best to use a hot air brush such as the one from Hot Tools which has a silicon barrel and bristols; it doesn't get hot enough to damage synthetic fibers. xoxo Marlene
WHO IS IT FOR? Anyone who wants to add curls, straighten or sculpt synthetic or human hair wigs or extensions in just seconds. I saw this on the WS1 site. You had said ONLY HD, HF styles, but according to the print under this appliance it says synthetic material as well. That’s the only reason I’d need it. I’m not a huge fan of the “air curler”. I find it’s harder to use and to maintain the hair or fibers often get stuck in the brush there’s many reasons that it doesn’t compare to something like this, so what are your thoughts if you keep it on the lowest amount possible to curl, and otherwise on usable wig that is synthetic only.
Hi Miranda, the lowest temp on this tool is 210 degrees. The synthetic they are referring to is heat friendly synthetic. I did contact some manufacturers and asked if a hot tool with the lowest temp of 210 could be used on their regular synthetics, and they all said no. Personally, I wouldn't use this tool on regular synthetic synthetic; I'd use steam or hot air brush at the low setting. If you want to try it, I'd say find a hidden spot at the nape where it won't show if the fibers are ruined. xo Marlene
Wow this looks amazing, I have not tried this tool yet but after watching this video I know I need this! Thanks for this great demo! xoxo
Thank you so much, my friend! I love this tool. xoxo

WoW Marlene this was fabulous‼️ I have never heard of wetting before curling 💖 NO wonder why I couldn't get curls in my RW simmer 🙄

This cool fiber iron may be nice but at $149.99 not in my budget. Post when on Sale😊 Your hair looks great!
Hi Aurora, Thank you!!! I agree the price point may be a bit high but that could be due to it taking the place of two tools. xoxo Marlene
