This makes me cry, I haven't seen the movie yet but just knowing that Sailor Galactica has taken her friends, HER STRENGTH and turned them against her is painful
I watched a video making the point that Neptune and Uranus are only stronger because of their talismans. If you took them away, Venus is the strongest of the senshi, minus Pluto and Saturn. That is why she attacks Sailormoon last. Saying all that, Neptune and Uranus really got sidelined in this last arc. I cant believe we didn't get to see how they died. And Mercury, her only real line in the movie is to say comment that a Starlight is smarter than her. Total shame. If you cant do right by all 18 of your main characters, then dont do it at all.
@@bluewall5505 Toei has been doing nothing but greedy cash grabs recently. It's exactly what I felt about the Dragon Quest remake. The old DQ anime was incomplete but it had 1 million times more soul than the remake. Same with Sailor Stars and this remake 😢
That whole entire battle could’ve been waaayyyy better simply cuz they could’ve actually defeated sailor moon if they all rushed her instead of standing in one spot and attacking the potential of this movie was wasted I still loved it but I could’ve done waaay better than toei animation
I’m a long time sailor moon fan and I agree with this. Just seeing this was amazing but there was opportunities to really flesh out the battle choreography

Venus was completely useless and although Mars outta the four of them put up a fight it left me wishing the battle with lead crow was longer like why didn’t Mars throw her head against lead crows face ugh 😩 just a waste but like I said loved the movie still as well
The Galactica senshi were never gonna defeat sailor moon get real. If they did then what would be next for the story ? I don't agree with alot about this arc tho, killing off all the girls one by one after they all got a power upgrade makes them look weak AF , they didn't even use new powers or put up a fight against the animates. Only sailor moon and the starlights could defeat them . There's more to be desired but the art style and animation is the best part about sailor moon cosmos

Nevertheless like I said they could have defeated sailor moon if it wasn’t for poor writing skills. However since sailormoon is in fact the heroine of this story of course she would have prevailed. The writers could have at least allowed the her senshi to push her a whole hell of a lot harder than what they gave us. And I can agree with you on the fact that they did make them look weak. Like Jupiter and mercury not focusing on the battle with Aluminum Siren or the fact that Venus was completely useless Mars was the only one who actually faired well in battle against Lead crow. Their inner &outer senshi’s Eternal Powers are supposed to rival sailor moons power. Galaxia picked them off one by one galaxia knew she didn’t stand a chance against all of them.

It was used to confuse sailor moon. That's y she didn't fight back until she realized they were saying Galactica incantations . All they're attacks were successful until The Galactica violin tide and sailor moon notices that the power being used against her is not the power of her senshi

Even as my favorite franchise there is A LOT left to be desired even with this ending but I can appreciate that you can make up your own inferences and context clues to draw conclusions that make sense to you.

They weren't saying Galactica until Uranus stood up and said, “Madam Galaxia, lend me your powers.” Since then, the rest of them have drawn powers directly from Galaxia and added the “Galactica” word. As of that part, Usagi realized they were not her friends and so all of them were fully unleashing Galactica's powers. :) Originally, I believe all of them had their Galactica word in their attack name, just like Heavy Metal Papillon with Galactica Scales. But then Galaxia several times hinted that most of her dreadful acts were meant to dispirit and weaken Sailor Moon’s mind and composure in order to cancel Chaos and Sailor Moon at once (Cauldron scene).
The animation is trash, the creativity is lost. Neptunes violin really doesnt make a sense and uranus and plutos attack in the 90s anime looked so elegant and smooth. Especially pluto. They ruined it so much.
