The sketch Carol refused to do again because "it was a shambles." Funny blooper from the Carol Burnett Show. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING!
"It smarted but it was snow so it didn't kill me" 😂🤣😂 Carol was a genius. And I've had my hand stuck in a sleeve before, I can't imagine being "stuck" in the middle of a sketch and then the crate didn't break & her accent slipped, too funny
My parents let me and my twin sister stay up and watch her show on Saturday nights. We were too young for Saturday Night Live. She has always reminded me of my Mom. Lucky for me, my folks had no problem being silly once in a while!! Carol has always seemed to be a member of my family. God love her and bless her!!!!!!!
How down to earth of her to share a sketch that just wasn't working.. they gave it 110% and her just busting up and implying this one is a stinker, "I know it and you know it" kind of thing, was the best.. which is why she is so loved.. she is a great performer but nothing is THAT serious for God's sake, right?
I think this was the one, and only one, sketch that her husband, producer Joe Hamilton, came in and said "Stop doing this, it's not working." i'm glad they showed it; they had very, very few weak sketches in 11 years so why not share it?! The ability to laugh at oneself is a virtue.
I've never been quite sure what sort of an accent that was meant to be that she was doing; Hungarian, I suppose, as Houdini was Hungarian born, but his family moved to America when he was four.
"Flo is to escape artistry what Wayne Newton is to standing ovations" "I see zee T and zee V" Even if this hadn't messed up so badly, it still would have been one of the best!
I think this is still funny, despite the errors that occur. Of course, I wonder why Carol didn't just put her stuck hand in the jacket the other way? That might've helped her get out of it.
That is truly us as people. Really being just human. Thanks a hell of alot! Funny😂

Even the bloopers are great 👍
Even when it's a blooper it works for me XD
"oh there's something in here tickling my fancy!" LMFAO!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Even her intro had me cracking up. She is amazing!! Very funny. Thanks for posting :)
Carol Burnett was so wonderful an a blessing to all who lover an that wonderful who Tim Conway what a perfect team they made
Absolutely brilliant, even if it didn't quite go to plan .... lol
One of the FUNNIEST SKITS ever on THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW.
her accent is the best! her and the cast mean the world to me :)
How could she say this was a shambles it was Hilarious hahahahaha

Still brilliant and hilarious, even if Murphy's Law was in full effect.
That was the first time I really saw Carol break character, it was so funny ty
Harvey didn't break????
Amazing
Oh wow I had forgotten about this classic skit 😂
It was a masterpiece of comedy because it was a " shambles" as Carol put it
SNL can't top this!!!!!
SNL pretty much fails on anything that doesn't have an extremely narrow political belief
I love Carol, she's such a good sport! Thank you so much for the clips, and I second ladyhardyfan, please post MORE!!! :D
I love it when she cracks up lol!
Honestly, it was probably funnier because of the things that went wrong. :)
One of the best skits of all time.
Culte! Culturisme! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Et Merci!
Second best "bad" sketch from the Carol Burnett Show with number one being Mary Worthless!
It was still funny to see this happen.

I enjoyed seeing what could go possibly go wrong next! 👏😄
The other day I was talking to Carol and I asked her what she did to keep from laughing and she said, and I quote, "I just let it out!" LOL
Miss Houdini can't tske off a jacket, untie her shoe, crack a box.....
I've never been quite sure what sort of an accent that was meant to be that she was doing; Hungarian, I suppose, as Houdini was Hungarian born, but his family moved to America when he was four.
"Flo is to escape artistry what Wayne Newton is to standing ovations"

She looks like Amelia Earhart in that hat.
Thank you! I had a vague idea that something looked familiar about her in that outfit. Now I know! 😊
Genius!

They do 2 shows. I never knew that.
I saw in an interview she said the first show was a dress rehersal then they were given revisions and other stage direction changes for the 2nd show.
Is this skit cleverly made or by total accident?
Parts of both! 😄
hahahahaa
This is a funny woman. Maybe female comedians now days need to watch. Womans like Amy Schumer, Tiffany Haddish and Sarah Silverman
