I just want to say THANK YOU for testing all these craft tools… i live on a fixed income so i can’t afford to waste money, not even a buck twenty five, so you just made my life so much better, bless you and everyone you love dear
I love those craft knife sets. I'm just going to find a cigar tube to store them in. They're not great for cutting fabric, but I do use them a lot to cut intricate details on paper patterns.
I love the wall organizer! ❤️ I covered it with a dollar tree wallpaper sheet and it looks so upscale! Its a stylish way to hang my necklaces and I use the tray for rings, etc in my tiny home. Thank you for all of your ideas and hints❤️
Thanks for testing the crafting tools. The stamp is reallly cute and a lot cheaper than getting them at other stores. I have the round organizer and I use it for my morning pills. I put the days of the week on it. It's small enough to keep on my nightstand.
As an alternative for the brush cleaner... I use the little travel size salad dressing containers. They're usually hanging on a strip in the food prep aisle. It will only handle small brushes, but I guess if you use bigger brushes you would be able to take the top off altogether and use it that way. And it doesn't leak when you have it in your travel bag with water in it! It's totally a game changer for me when I travel and art!
Love the circular organization box. I sometimes make bracelets, it's perfect to house jump rings and small ball pins in the compartments. If you knock it over or have a cat that likes to jump up on work surfaces, the individual lids keep everything safe except what you left open. I have one for each color of metal and keep them all vertical by stacking them through the center hole on a paper towel holder I bought at a thrift store for a dollar. It takes up less work surface, yet very handy!
I really enjoyed this video, and I hope you do more like it. I was pleased to discover that about half of the items you rated were things I have seen and wondered if they were good or too cheap to be useful. Thank you so much!
Not only do I craft and do DIY’s but I’m also into Junk Journaling so I have a lot of stamps, ink and all the jj stuff that goes along with it. There’s so much you can do with ink other than stamping. You can use it for distressing a lot of things but one thing that I did learn was I wasn’t aware that $ Tree had started carrying Acrylic Stamping Blocks. I’m so glad that they are finally carrying those in the store. Because you can never have enough of them and even buying them from Temu you can’t always get them as cheap as $ Tree. Thank you for sharing.
Great demo! I haven’t been in a $🌳 for so long l didn’t realize they had so many crafty things. Now l must go. Thanks for your time doing this review! 🙏🏻👍🏻💖👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I've seen so many of these items but was always a little iffy about trying them, so thanks for doing this! From one of your other videos I bought the rotary cutter and mat and I actually find them really useful. The products are good. I just think you can't expect TOP quality from them, but if they are tools you'll just be using sometimes, I think they're great!
That's great! I agree. You can never truly compare these tools with top-quality ones, but they are great for the price. And easily replaceable. Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Love❤ these types of videos, keep them coming. Thanks for sharing. So helpful. I own two of the Pink & Blue silicon mats. Agree. Thin but they really work good for all the things/projects I do.
Thanks for the review. One thing, though - the cup with the yellow lid is intended as a cup to hold (usually tempera) paint, rather than a brush cleaning cup. It's meant to use with children, as it spills less easily than an open cup, and the sloped area is for wiping off some of the paint from the brush, so they have less blobbing of paint. The colored tops are to coordinate with the color of paint inside. 🎨
Hi! Ah, ok. I didn't know. I'm pretty sure it says brush cleaning, but I could be wrong. I'll have to check. Either way, that's a great way to use it, too! Thank you so much ❤️
They are called “Crafter's Square Brush Cleaning Pot” on the dollar store website, so maybe another company uses them to hold paint? but thats not what dollar tree is selling them as
I liked this video. I teach crafts for a living and because of inflation, I use the Dollar Tree more than ever. I’ve used the pink silicone mat for several years and it travels well in my bag. One thing I would love to see is the Dollar Tree DIYers test out the premium acrylic paints from the dollar tree. I’ve used the red for a project and I was amazed how well it was. Seems like so many people like chalk paint more. I don’t buy chalk paint. Loved this review!
So we got a similar thing with a paint set from Melissa and Doug (kids toys). They were to put paint in for the kids to dip the brush and set down their brush so it's no mess! Like we had separate ones for red, blue, etc. with coordinating brushes. When the kids got bigger and wanted more colors etc we actually did use these for water! A couple were lost so i was excited when i found them in dollar tree!!
I love my utility knife! I wonder about using that pill holder to keep the blades in. I kept mine in a toothbrush travel holder and it worked fine for my purposes
I'm with you on the round organizer. I use it for my vitamins. It's actually deeper than the round pill container they have, and it has one more section!
Edited to add: Please check if the craft organizer is food safe before you use for your vitamins 🙂. Fun to see you try out & provide your thoughts & ratings, especially on some I already have 🙂. I have found the cling stamps to be quite nice & have bought a few different sets - I like that they have a good variety with a lot in 1 package & for $1.50 here in 🇨🇦 is a great deal. I hope to find that stamping block - haven’t noticed it yet. I have 2 pd the silicone hot glue mats - they’re also great to have under something when using wet glue or even glue sticks, paint or even stamping ink. I have but haven’t used yet the brush cleaning cup - suspected it would leak but I like that it has a lid. Thanks for sharing 😊
Really enjoyed this. I'm constantly buying & trying or wondering if I should buy. Nice to have an honest review but also see for ourselves if it might work for our intended use of it. Thanks Lianep 💖.
I truly thank God for everyone that does video especially for crafting, because I have seen this stamping stuff but didn’t have any idea how to use it. So thankkkk you 🤗 I’ll be picking it up on my next Dollar store run.
You need to prep new stamps so that they will pick up as much ink as possible. Use an eraser that doesn't easily crumble or your hand to rub the stamp.
I really enjoy these types of videos. I like the stamp set and the silicone mat, which I have. The tape, if you don't use it regularly it does not stick well. Have a great week.😀👍👍👍👍
Nice video. I have purchased the stamps and holder. Just have not used it yet. I agree with you about the exacto knife. I used it before purchasing a better one and I had to keep stopping to screw on the blade. I like the other paint brushes that have lighter hair. Get some of them and tell me what you think. I use them all the time, so I don't ruin my more expensive brushes. Thanks for sharing your reviews. Have a great evening.
I really enjoyed your video. The last video you did, showing reviews...I picked up the rotary cutter & your right it does cut really good. I think that I'll be getting the glue gun silicone mat among other items...thanks -------------Amelia
5:29 so I've used this craft knife, and you're 100% right. It's incredibly dangerous, and to be quite honest I refuse to use it now. The last time I used it the blade slipped because the threaded housing isn't secure, and I ended up cutting my finger incredibly badly. Like, almost-needed-the-hospital badly. That was about a month ago, and the injury site is much better now, but still tender to the touch. I can't recommend this knife any LESS! Definitely save your dollar and spend it on a better one. Better a $12 craft knife than a $1200 er bill!
@@diybeautyonpurpose yeah, it's an awful product. I get what they're trying to do, but some things just shouldn't be made on that small a budget. Sacrificing on safety never ends well!
Remember any double sides, sticky tape or command strips you really should wait 24-48 hours before putting any weight on them after you stick them to something
I always see the Dollar Tree that all crafters go. They are all nice, clean and neat. I do not see any like these. Even when the store just opened by three months, it's dirty, chaotic and nothing like what I keep seeing on these UA-cam videos.
@dcwatashi I'll have to disagree on this one. I think a cap can be a way to keep the blade from slicing materials as well as skin. If the cap is safely placed on and off the exacto knife, it will be safer to store. In my opinion. Many exacto knives on Amazon have caps. Of course, you can do with it what you want.
@@diybeautyonpurpose a cap can fall off. I prefer to keep my blades separate. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years. Either way you have to be extremely careful when you’re picking up these little tiny blades. Sadly, my Dollar tree isn’t anywhere close to Being stocked like the one that you go to. 🥲
That paint cup isn’t for cleaning but storing the paint and using it with kids! It makes the paint easier for them to get to with the bigger brushes. When my Daughter was little her Preschool & Kindergarten classes had them!
@@diybeautyonpurpose I’m So happy you did this video! I hope you’ll do more like this! I’d never have thought about the little container you put beads in! I too take meds so I think I’ll get one now! I wasn’t sure about the lids! I’m happy to know they’re strong! I knew the knife was a fail lol I was cringing watching you touching the blade saying outloud “don’t get cut don’t get cut” lol I too love the stamps! And I forgot to add the cups are more for Tempura paint not the Acrylic paint that comes in tiny bottles!
Those exacto knifes are horrible the fact it dont come with a cover it dont have a cap for blade and they dull so quickly its not worth the money u got to invest in good blades. Dull blades are dangerous blades
@@diybeautyonpurposeyeah, it’s better than nothing, but not by much. I do store it in the original packaging. Not a great knife, if you can get a better one.

So happy you did this video!
I bought 2 of those knife sets and with both the blades would fall out. I don't like this item at all.
Yes, I didn't like it either. Thank you so much for watching ❤️
I really do not recommend the exacto type tool....nono.
Agree! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Those exacto knifes are horrible the fact it dont come with a cover it dont have a cap for blade and they dull so quickly its not worth the money u got to invest in good blades. Dull blades are dangerous blades
I agree. That one was a big no.for me. Safety is important. Thank you so much for watching ❤️
@@diybeautyonpurposeyeah, it’s better than nothing, but not by much. I do store it in the original packaging. Not a great knife, if you can get a better one.
