But they didn't START here. They're so popular here you forget like, yeah, they're not ours. We borrowed them from a friend
when i first started watching game grumps, my first episode was whatever the latest sonic and the black knight episode was, and i could not figure out which voice was arin and which was dan. i had to really listen and see if you said each others names lmao
As a New Yorker, I have to say, the description of New York as "chaos with a little chill underneath" is so incredibly accurate.
"just gotta land right there and then it's over."
...oh honey.
As a dude living in Japan, the talk about cities really vibed with me. The 3 big cities of Japan have such wildly different personalities. But they all have SUBWAYS.

“Everything feels manageable until it all happens at once.”
Perfectly sums up this last year
So the backwards description is:
Call your parents. eat some greens occasionally. maybe go for a walk.
Thank you lmao. I was really wondering what 'gleens' were XD
Eat your parents, go for a greens, eat a walk.
I can't believe Dan would think we don't know the differences between their voices.
I had to watch a few videos before I could tell the difference at all lol
My friend first played some Mario Maker videos a few years ago and I was quietly irritated because I couldn’t tell their voices apart 😂
its a shame more people don't get this joke
*"I'm A Big Boy! I'm A Big F**K!!!!"*
That just killed me lol! 😂😂😂
Dan's French accent is SO GOOD, like I'm French and it threw me off
Wanting Arin to succeed in this level is probably the closest thing I'll ever get to understanding spectator sports
34:14 don't worry dan new york is just as miserable and mean as you remember
I love hearing Arin talk about TNG. Like I finally get a reference to something lol
Danny is becoming our grandpa. Shakey hands, memory loss, giant thumbs.
Taking about music from back in the day
@@inste10300 awww grandpa Dan seems like such a sweet guy
Me: I’m afraid of the Backstreet Boys
Therapist: Tell me why
Me: 😱
Wait, people can't tell the difference between their voices? Arin has a deeper, more nasal voice, and Dan's is higher pitched
Yeah, really. Their voices are kinda distinct. I can barely tell the difference between Matt and Ryan’s voices, though.
@@xinf3ctdx I used to have trouble with Matt and Ryan. Eventually it became easy to tell em apart.
Yeah, and Dan also has that quicker laugh while Arin’s laugh is usually pretty strung out a bit more.
I can't tell the difference between Ross and Dan on some of Steam Train.
Who are Arin and Dan?
15:41 - *Foreshadowing*
Oh hell yeah, love when Arin talks about his time on Tester
21:40 Arin's rollercoaster of emotions...
Episode title: "DON'T Play This Episode
Ross when he reacts to it (hopefully): Plays it backwards.
NO! ARIN! LEGIT! Okay deadass sometimes I can't tell who is laughing or doing a grubba type voice or.... a few other things too I can't think of at the moment. It isn't a bad thing for me though since I enjoy you both to bits.
I just watched last episode and I feel like I don’t remember anything from the last time on game grumps, probably because of all the repeating death merging into one small memory
Yea i just skipped the majority of last episode
I really love the conversations during their game sessions. Dan talking about the people in LA where some people's dreams are crushed and people running out of time to pursue their dreams artistically really is an eye openner for me. I'm studying arts in college and would really want to pursue arts and hearing Dan talk about it really helped me prepare for what to expect when I decided to go to LA in the future.
"Misinformation is the fuel that the Internet truck runs on"
TELL ME ABOUT IT.
the beatles are also often attributed to inventing metal music. I fuckin love the beatles lmao
So proud of the progress Dan is making! I guess he is the video game boy after all.
Fun fact about the TNG episode Arin talked about: One of the fish people was played by Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac, because he's such a big Star Trek fan.
"You can't just open up the story of my life and turn to page 738 and think you know me." -Dan Avidan
I, for one, adore Dans analogy of New York and California.
New Yorker here, and my lovely neighborhood felt well captured in Danny’s description.
Still find it hilarious that Arin fell for updog (and then Grabon haha)
There are two sides of game grumps
A: Super deep conversations about life
B: Mommy Milkies & Diaper Cafes
There is no in-between
Arin has good reason to feel how he does about reality tv though. Lest we all forget how he was treated on Tester.
Edit: Oh, cool, he's talking about it too.
