It's nice that they're successful, but i do miss when they were just 2 dudes on a couch. I still have no idea who alli or bort or whoever the heck lives in their office is or what they do, but they sure do... participate in the content.
I've got no problems with them reminiscing and having lives outside the show, but i'm here to watch the bois. Not watch the bois chortle about their hijinks with their producers and PR managers or whatever the heck they are. @@ViralC1 On a related note, I was thinking about this a year or two ago, when Dan in particular began referencing older shows and bits more often, and asking "remember when" during shows. Not so much Arin. I get the impression he tries to avoid that.
I don't pay too much attention to the co-workers who come and go over the years unless there's an interesting or funny interaction. For instance, Brent playing under the account "Itta Pupu" & interrupting their game play. I know he was manager, but for the most part, I know him as itta pupu, the manager. Not a biggie.

Final stat comments for Game Grumps, ya know I gotta do it to 'em:
Take A Bow, Sir: 173 Tries (First Try 173: Universitry Of Alabama), time of 1 : 33 : 58, around 2.2115 episodes taken, 1.83 DPM
    World 8 Average: 122 Tries, time of 1 : 18 : 14, around 2.06 episodes taken, 1.64 DPM
    World 8 Total: 610 Tries, time of 6 : 31 : 09, around 10.3 episodes taken
Grand Average: 53.88 Tries, time of 30 : 30, around 0.86 episodes taken, 1.7 DPM
    Grand Total: 2155 Tries, time of 20 : 20 : 07, around 34.33 episodes taken
    Interesting Tidbits:
Point of clarification that DPM stands for Deaths Per Minute.
Ross accounts for 122 Tries of the Grumps' run of Bow SIr and 1 : 10 : 44 of the time taken for it.
Ross accounts for 125 Tries and 1 : 15 : 34 of the time taken for the Grumps' entire run of this world. I mean he was only here for 2 episodes but y'know. He accounts for 5.66% of the Tries and 6.19% of the time taken.
The Grumps' total Tries for all of World 8 is just 41 Tries off from Ross' total Tries on his upload run of Bow Sir (651). In a similar vein, They were around 7 minutes off from Ross' time taken on his Bow Sir upload (6 : 38 : 26).
The fact that the episodes taken on World 8 (only including play time, no pauses or intros/outros) was just around 10 is pretty neat imo
The final time of this world being 2020 is pretty funky since that's when the world was being made and got released.
You might've already realized but World 8 took them nearly a third of all their time/episodes spent on Super RubberRoss World.
Dan really did just say that he likes looking at inflation, doesn't even matter what was meant by it now lmao now that soundbyte is out there.
Arin only playing the final level for around 20 minutes is pretty funny to me. Ross really did have to carry them to the finish line, huh.
The Grumps took nearly double the amount of Tries they did on World 4 for World 8 (World 5's being 319, second highest for their playthrough).
The Grumps did nearly 5x worse than MatPat's total Tries for the entire world (442).
MatPat beat the entire world with less playtime than the Grumps took for just World 8, 6 : 17 : 11.
The Grumps did *over* 5x worse than Panga's Try count (403) which is a less interesting data point because he's a speedrunner and kaizo level maker so it's to be expected but I thought I might as well mention it.
I'm too lazy to make any more connections to other data especially since these usually go mostly unnoticed. So, I think I'm done here, if you want more data there's always the spreadsheet.
Well this is finally over, more anticlimactic than expected but it be like that sometimes. At least I can stop making First Try puns, Arin did so badly that I had to make like ~200 more (there are 1,069 now (nice)). If you want to see more in-depth info on stats for Ross, MatPat, Panga, and the Grumps' playthroughs of this world then you can find the First Try spreadsheet pinned in the Mario Maker channel of the RubberNinja Discord server.

It's a little strange and concerning that this isn't labeled "finale" but let's look at the numbers: This final one took 71 attempts (forget distinguishing GG and Ross at this point). That plus the last three episodes makes 184 total for Guest Grumps Rubberross World. With 1842 in the original run, that just breaks 2K at 2026 total.
As far as planking goes, I got ahead during the (looong) break so I've done an extra 30.5 minutes or 122 deaths, but the whole series adds up to 506.5 minutes of planking, or 8 hours and 27 minutes.

For anyone wondering, the movie Ross talks about with the people with crossed-out faces is called A Silent Voice. It's a really great film about a person who used to bully a deaf person and suffering with other bullying because of it but still trying to mend that relationship years later. It carries a great message and I highly recommend it

"A stitch in time saves 9" is a metaphor for fixing problems early; it compares it to repairing ripped/torn clothes.
If you notice a problem (like a tear), you should fix it right away when it's only a tiny issue, even if it seems silly (it's a tiny tear, it only needs 1 stitch!)
Because taking the time to do that ONE stitch now (i.e. fixing a problem when it's small) prevents it from becoming a BIGGER problem later, which will be harder and more time consuming to fix.
So, a stitch in time (a small, easy fix when you first notice the beginning of a problem) will save you from having to make 9 stitches later (will prevent a bigger issue that requires a more involved solution).
    Hope that explains it!
edit: oh, or you can just look it up yourself. Lame.

"A stitch in time saves nine" means that fixing one problem now, without procrastinating, will save you more trouble ahead. imagine a popped thread in the seam on a sleeve of a shirt.. once that happens, the whole seam will slowly come undone.. but if you fix it in time (a stitch in time), you save yourself more fixing later (~9 more stitches).
