It's a little strange and concerning that this isn't labeled "finale" but let's look at the numbers: This final one took 71 attempts (forget distinguishing GG and Ross at this point). That plus the last three episodes makes 184 total for Guest Grumps Rubberross World. With 1842 in the original run, that just breaks 2K at 2026 total. As far as planking goes, I got ahead during the (looong) break so I've done an extra 30.5 minutes or 122 deaths, but the whole series adds up to 506.5 minutes of planking, or 8 hours and 27 minutes.
finding out months later i didn't even need to collect all 8 coins to clear this level really makes me feel pained at how much time i wasted mastering getting them all. still proud to be in that thousand person minority to beat it.

For anyone wondering, the movie Ross talks about with the people with crossed-out faces is called A Silent Voice. It's a really great film about a person who used to bully a deaf person and suffering with other bullying because of it but still trying to mend that relationship years later. It carries a great message and I highly recommend it
I'm really glad that Ross mentioned A Silent Voice cause a lot of people can relate to that film, I relate to both the main characters and that film is one of my favorites.
Yoooo they did it! What a series dude. Sensational. I wouldn't say Arin beat this nor the last level, but I would still say the game grumps did. And Arin did well enough, clearing the post-checkpoint of both.
23:21 The absolute comfusion I see on Bowser's face when Ross ran into him had me cracking up! I can just imagine his thought be something like "well...what happens now?"
I love Ross running controls on these levels because it just lets Danny and Arin get totally introspective and those are some of my favorite chill Game Grumps episodes.
It feels oddly surreal how the episode starts after nearly five minutes of ad, promo, recap, and intro for the show, and then it happens. Luckily, it's nearly an hour of fun at that point forward with Ross included, and then the mustache boi bouncing back to break Bowser's boundaries is always a good way to see some leapin' lasagna.
As someone who recently graduated high school I can say that there is a certain pressure always present on your shoulders whenever you do something. I personally managed by not being on social media. Ignorance is bliss ya know. Though I also didn't talk to anyone in general, that's a personal preference that I still keep to this day (I have no social skills to speak of).
@@nessesaryschoolthing Yes, I have a tendency of merging those two together. I was going for Hoisted by his own Petard. Since Ross worked so hard on a level to get Arin angry, and now he has to finish the frustrating level himself.
I was gonna comment about how long these "last time on GG" segments are becoming... but then I saw this was a long episode... so it's fine... it's fine
A stitch in time saves nine means an investment of some sort now yields greater rewards in the future than what was originally invested. If you're sewing, for example, taking the time to double hem your seems when you're crafting your garment means you wont have a frayed seem down the line that will need to be ripped out and restitched later
"A stitch in time saves nine" means that if you fix a small problem early, it stops it from becoming a big problem and taking more effort. It refers to if you use a single stitch on a small hole in fabric, it'll stop it from becoming a big hole and requiring more stitches.
funny thing about the whole pickle thing: in a lot of other languages, pickles are just called pickled cucumbers / have some form of cucumber in the name, so it's very obvious just from the name alone that they're the same vegetable. Not sure why specifically english was like "yeah no, this is THE pickle and no other form of pickled vegetable deserves this name"
13:25 as someone who is about to graduate, the stress doesn't come from social media, UT comes from people older than me, seeing the technology we have now, and then say," you BETTER get into a good college with all the technology you have", because somehow me having an iPhone makes it so I should NEVER have to struggle in school
I really love having Ross play with the grumps! Having a third person really let's the conversation flow and seems to take a lot of stress off of them, and plus... Ross is just so awesome and hilarious. Lol I would love to see more of this kind of thing!

29:45 "A stitch in time saves 9" is a metaphor for fixing problems early; it compares it to repairing ripped/torn clothes. If you notice a problem (like a tear), you should fix it right away when it's only a tiny issue, even if it seems silly (it's a tiny tear, it only needs 1 stitch!) Because taking the time to do that ONE stitch now (i.e. fixing a problem when it's small) prevents it from becoming a BIGGER problem later, which will be harder and more time consuming to fix. So, a stitch in time (a small, easy fix when you first notice the beginning of a problem) will save you from having to make 9 stitches later (will prevent a bigger issue that requires a more involved solution). Hope that explains it! edit: oh, or you can just look it up yourself. Lame.
I just came from an Arin rage compilation, and the ad for raycon is just super ironic after hearing him rant about how much he *HATES* earbuds. But that was a long time ago so its entirety possible his opinion has changed
isnt it fun and cool that any time we watch these episodes far into the future, we'll get to sit through a no-longer-relevant ad at the top of the episode.
"A stitch in time saves nine" means that fixing one problem now, without procrastinating, will save you more trouble ahead. imagine a popped thread in the seam on a sleeve of a shirt.. once that happens, the whole seam will slowly come undone.. but if you fix it in time (a stitch in time), you save yourself more fixing later (~9 more stitches). Edit: just watched a littler further and they looked it up. d'oh

Basically, dealing with a problem early before it gets bad
Or so time travellers want you to believe, to save nine people.
Another take on the phrase: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
It's a little strange and concerning that this isn't labeled "finale" but let's look at the numbers: This final one took 71 attempts (forget distinguishing GG and Ross at this point). That plus the last three episodes makes 184 total for Guest Grumps Rubberross World. With 1842 in the original run, that just breaks 2K at 2026 total.
As far as planking goes, I got ahead during the (looong) break so I've done an extra 30.5 minutes or 122 deaths, but the whole series adds up to 506.5 minutes of planking, or 8 hours and 27 minutes.
😎...
😐...
😑...my god...
This is surprisingly relaxing, just feels really "real" ya know?
Damn, I really miss these deep episodes of them just talking about their lives. Very therapeutic actually
finding out months later i didn't even need to collect all 8 coins to clear this level really makes me feel pained at how much time i wasted mastering getting them all. still proud to be in that thousand person minority to beat it.
Respect!
Awesome! Whats in the key door then? Power-ups to help with the fight maybe? I was hoping Ross would have mentioned it but he never did T_T
@@feathero3 i think it's just a typical ross troll. i noticed that when he got the flag and used the pipe to get to the final room, as he fell, there looked like a locked door there. so no real advantage, it's just a trick to get you to do the level harder. i honestly can't remember the last level well because i beat it at the start of the year iirc.
For anyone wondering, the movie Ross talks about with the people with crossed-out faces is called A Silent Voice. It's a really great film about a person who used to bully a deaf person and suffering with other bullying because of it but still trying to mend that relationship years later. It carries a great message and I highly recommend it
Trigger warning though.
“We were filming an episode of…….something else we film” hmmmm what could it POSSIBLY be
[Saxophone]
Oh shit booooyyyyssssssssss
To be honest I haven't got a clue
@@_korbo_ I love me some Seven Second Dour Sours!
I'm really glad that Ross mentioned A Silent Voice cause a lot of people can relate to that film, I relate to both the main characters and that film is one of my favorites.
Absolutely the best anime film I've ever seen, the manga is just as good too.
@@Wulfey13 I agree completely! The manga is delightful ☺️
38:28 "I'm grump and not so grump" Ross is now quantum grump ⚛
Yoooo they did it! What a series dude. Sensational. I wouldn't say Arin beat this nor the last level, but I would still say the game grumps did. And Arin did well enough, clearing the post-checkpoint of both.
Im sad they glossed over Dan's comedy gold of, "these pickles dont run arin"
Arin: "I just felt like MMOs are a waste of time, y'know?"
Ross "The Eggwalker" O'Donovan: "Yeah I get that"
23:21 The absolute comfusion I see on Bowser's face when Ross ran into him had me cracking up! I can just imagine his thought be something like "well...what happens now?"
"Middle school was the best." -ONLY Arin Hanson. Ever.
gotta admit though those were the only years I ever had nerd friends. I still got treated like fucking garbage by everyone else.
He didn't go much further, so yeah it tracks.
I love Ross running controls on these levels because it just lets Danny and Arin get totally introspective and those are some of my favorite chill Game Grumps episodes.
Kinda makes me miss the Everything play through.
@@namelessliberty9869 i'm so terribly sorry this is impacting your life so much.
That was so wholesome to see Arin and Ross bond over their shared confusion and dislike of the name "pickle"
Dan's underrated "these pickles don't run" comment was gold.😂
Bro watching Ross fail his own level is somehow more satisfying than Arin raging at Ross.
23:40
You can hear Ross smiling/getting giddy through that joke!
"Hey Billy, what was your favorite episode of Game Grumps?"
"I like the one where they talk about the toxicity of social media for a LOOOOOONG time!"
Alternate title: Ross falling on his own Petard while the Grumps have a nice conversation.
Are you mixing up falling on his own sword and being hoisted by his own Petard?
@@nessesaryschoolthing Yes, I have a tendency of merging those two together. I was going for Hoisted by his own Petard.
Since Ross worked so hard on a level to get Arin angry, and now he has to finish the frustrating level himself.
I was gonna comment about how long these "last time on GG" segments are becoming... but then I saw this was a long episode... so it's fine... it's fine
"pickle advice"
So _that's_ what we're calling it now?
A stitch in time saves nine means an investment of some sort now yields greater rewards in the future than what was originally invested. If you're sewing, for example, taking the time to double hem your seems when you're crafting your garment means you wont have a frayed seem down the line that will need to be ripped out and restitched later
...
"I liked the episode where they talked about pickles for a looooooong time."
"A stitch in time saves nine" means that if you fix a small problem early, it stops it from becoming a big problem and taking more effort. It refers to if you use a single stitch on a small hole in fabric, it'll stop it from becoming a big hole and requiring more stitches.
12:04 - "Me and my friends played Four Swords." Soooo many D Club jokes there.
Didn't make that connection at first lol
funny thing about the whole pickle thing:
in a lot of other languages, pickles are just called pickled cucumbers / have some form of cucumber in the name, so it's very obvious just from the name alone that they're the same vegetable. Not sure why specifically english was like "yeah no, this is THE pickle and no other form of pickled vegetable deserves this name"
Nice to see Ross and you guys hanging out after the reunion tour
13:25 as someone who is about to graduate, the stress doesn't come from social media, UT comes from people older than me, seeing the technology we have now, and then say," you BETTER get into a good college with all the technology you have", because somehow me having an iPhone makes it so I should NEVER have to struggle in school
20:13 same energy as Arin saying "NO! I HIT END!"
I really love having Ross play with the grumps! Having a third person really let's the conversation flow and seems to take a lot of stress off of them, and plus... Ross is just so awesome and hilarious. Lol
I would love to see more of this kind of thing!
I love these storytelling episodes especially when they get deep.
I like when they talk about how worried they were that laws would change to stop protecting letsplays
then conveniently leave out how it doesnt matter because youtube ignores the legal protection
I really love these one on one conversations they’re having. Just some deep, personal conversations they don’t mind sharing, being open and honest. Really cool.
dan: he peed out his talent
me: NO HE FLUSHED HIS TALENT DOWN THE TOILET
I love how Ross ribs these guys, you can tell just how close friends they are :>
I love the deep episodes. Keep playing Ross. It’s like listening to Arin and Dan stare into a crackling fire talking about life ♥️🔥
This was the best possible ending to this series, Ross coming over to hang out for the last few episodes of the series, shooting the shit, laughing and catching up. Super wholesome.
You guys better do more with Ross! I want to see my boys play some visual novels or Sierra games again!
Have you read this bots hashtags, it's kinda great. #human food😂
Edit: I agree I hope Ross comes on a little more
Watching this makes me wanna finish my game so I can make a Grumps version for the three of them.
"you're holding yourself up to idealistic standards and no one can hold up to that"
If you have executive function issues, you don't need to hold yourself up to idealistic standards. Everyone else will do it for you. Just remember: your best just isn't good enough, and neither are you. : )
I appreciate Ross mentioning A Silent Voice. It should still be on Netflix, for those interested in watching.
I see you Dan and your "Sounds like someone doesn't love democracy." Made me smirk, then erupt into a full chuckle when the guys didn't hear it or just blew by it. I feel that 😂
Allergic to onions? Yikes man... that makes cooking really inconvenient... that sucks man!
This one my absolute favorite episodes in a long time. It really just felt like they were enjoying being together and playing games for old time sakes
No matter how times I hear "Last Time On Game Grumps!" in Arin's parrot voice, it always cracks me up every time.
I like the Jeopardy one. "This....is...GameGrumps!" 🤣

Thanks for the shoutout Ross! And thanks for making this great world. The deathless speedrun will happen eventually, my best is 8 deaths and overall time of 81 minutes
I love how Arin basically brought forth the 14-year-old in Ross with his Picke Rant :')
*Ross:* _[Gets tantalizingly close to the end.]_
*Me:* _[At the edge of my seat despite knowing damn well that there is a lot of time left in the episode.]_
Whether here or Ross's channel always great to have you guys together for an episode.
I don't care if its watching the same 30 seconds for nearly 2 hours now... I love the chill in the room with these three.
I understand that it’s part of the format but it wasn’t until 4:43 until the episode actually started. I don’t mind sponsorships or an ad for scribble showdown actually but in that case I feel the “last time on gg” can go or be shorter.
ross ur high school experience is so relatable i didn't even know how to look people in the eye until uni let alone make small talk. just goes to show anxiety is managable and you can develop social skills at any time in their life as long as you keep at it. like any other skill
"I don't even know who makes these." - Arin Hanson 2021 Just keep pushing them sponsors out lets go! xD
@@cmmartti I'm pretty sure those from the Hasbro Gaming Hearing Things; basically the Whisper Challenge in a box.

You know that if the GG video’s got two ads it’s gotta be spectacular
I died laughing at 22:15 😂 five minutes straight of uncontrollable laughter. And then laughing about that. Thank you. I want to leave a long heartfelt comment so you can reply “Great, got it Thanks!”
So... Sponsor, then scribble showdown ad, then last time on game grumps. Truly incredible.

Then scribble again after the new episode finally starts.
I fucking love that Dan has half picked up Arins semi sarcastic "THATS AWESOME"
Nothing like the first 5 minutes of the episode being ads and recaps.
28:16 "GET ANGRY!!"
(Ross with a mouthful cookie, LOL.)
33:00 ten minute power hour?? Please tell me that’s what Arin was talking about!!!
29:45
"A stitch in time saves 9" is a metaphor for fixing problems early; it compares it to repairing ripped/torn clothes.
If you notice a problem (like a tear), you should fix it right away when it's only a tiny issue, even if it seems silly (it's a tiny tear, it only needs 1 stitch!)
Because taking the time to do that ONE stitch now (i.e. fixing a problem when it's small) prevents it from becoming a BIGGER problem later, which will be harder and more time consuming to fix.
13:08 - 15:45 Thank you, this really put a lot into perspective for me and helped me calm down a lot. thanks.
Wow, what a great finale to Super RubberRoss World and for the ad Raycon also sells headphones than just earbuds.
isnt it fun and cool that any time we watch these episodes far into the future, we'll get to sit through a no-longer-relevant ad at the top of the episode.
48:04 I was 100% convinced Arin was gonna die on the saw
I like how he played it safe by using the "Watch Your Mouth" headphones as the ones that suck
Yess! I noticed that
"A stitch in time saves nine" means that fixing one problem now, without procrastinating, will save you more trouble ahead. imagine a popped thread in the seam on a sleeve of a shirt.. once that happens, the whole seam will slowly come undone.. but if you fix it in time (a stitch in time), you save yourself more fixing later (~9 more stitches).
Edit: just watched a littler further and they looked it up. d'oh
Geez dude, 5 minutes until the episode is crazy lol
I couldn't ask for a better finale. Thanks for all the laughs.
