Really love seeing this side of the PC world. It's wild to see that it's reaching a point where it's actually becoming viable and almost the preferred choice. Awesome video!
I use to love gigantic builds, but the older I get the more minimalist I become lol. Definitely my next build in the new year. Congrats, awesome build.
I built my first mini ITX PC last December and I don't think I could go back. I love how much power you can pack into a little case and if you do your homework, temps aren't bad at all. I personally have FormD T1 with a 7800X3D and a 4080 Super FE (upgraded from a 3080 FE originally). This had brought my love back for PC building. All the glass and RGB is nice, but I think I've moved away from that.
Currently waiting on the SFF Time N-ATX V2 to be available again so I can downsize my PC without downgrading or having to re-buy my entire system, it'll be my "introduction" to smaller form factor cases, as I currently have a NZXT H710i and it's massive - but all my components (excluding CPU cooler) will fit the smaller case!
Can 100% appreciate how much power they can pack into a tiny case, your build looks so good. Might be moving away from SFF for my next build but this is always interesting
@@pikachuwu4626 cooler was from asetek (not sure on the exact model) but I’d also say the fractal lumen is a great choice for this case. Just something low profile. The slim fan is from noctua and the larger is from NZXT. Mostly just used what I had already there
I really wish Teenage Engineer would make a new case that's slightly bigger for the upcoming 50 series cards and supported better thermals. (Imo, it's one of the few cases that give an Apple vibe to things)
@@rillotv aight, thought the dimensions were already leaked, gonna wait a bit longer until we know, I really liked the case so thinking of buying it. Thank you for replying
@@fabioalmeidajou yeah ofc! I know the nanoq s can fit cards up to 327mm. There’s also the nanoq r if the 50 series is big but you still want the look of this case. It’s the same case just bigger volume 👌
There's not a massive jump between the 7800x3d and the 9950 tbh. The biggest difference is more cores, which of course will be better for multi tasking, but the thermals and performance on the 7800x3d along with the cheaper price make it still a great pick imo. That being said, we now have 9800x3d on the horizon as well...
The link to the case is in the description - Seems quite expensive, as small form factor can be. If it's your first time building and you don't mind the suggestion, an mATX or ATX case would be quite a lot more straightforward and easy to build in. Good luck with content creation!
@@PrimusTechnology Fair question, I don't know to be honest. Maybe they approached him or Rillo sent them an email offering exposure through this video
Completely agree. Don't know why he's finding a spot to fanboy apple. People literally go PC because they want benefits like being able to build in a case like this. This case is a credit to PC, not a backhanded compliment to apple. Apple have made many cases, all containing largely rip-off products. And none of them look this good, or are this powerful.
120W TDP not 1200W 🙃
i would like to build something like this but with 9800x3d or 9950x3d and 5090 rtx and custom watercoooled 😆

Very cool build! It's always struggle with sliding designs in PC cases, but I love the aesthetics
@@Tech.Closet the look is definitely worth it imo but yeah I wish they were a bit smoother 😅 appreciate it!
the sff scene has come so far, when i was first looking to build a sff pc in 2017 the only real option was the fractal node 202 or a gpu-less pc

such a sick build

Great video. I’m looking into Thorzone for the next batch.

Great overview of what it takes to assemble an sff build and how components selection works. (More long form vids pls)
Another in the works as we speak :)

i have a question since this build is pretty tight im wondering if the ventus 3x 4090 will fit the same as the founders edition
I’d just check their website they have exact dimensions on there for what cards the case can fit!
I love my meshy with a 4090fe
I'm in the states, does Thor Zone do US shipping? I don't see an option to flip it from Euros.
I would reach out to them directly as I’m not entirely sure but I’d imagine they would

Is the purpose of a tiny PC to make PC’s more affordable or is it solely to save physical space?
