I have a question, and im not sure about where to ask. I harvested my stinging nettle earlier this spring. I put it in my herb dryer that is just a open-air shelf with netting. I stored it in my greenhouse and kind of forgot about it. It's definitely dry. My question is, is it too dry now that I've let it sit out for these hot summer days. I don't use my greenhouse in the summer months when it's so hot and so temperatures have gotten upwards of 120 f in the greenhouse. I hope I didn't cook all of the nutrients out of my nettles. Do you think I could still use them?

Can I use Passiflora caerulea medicinally too, I think you said you were growing a different one.
As a nerd...my brain has to wonder...since the purpose of EtOH is to access the lipid component...would a soxhlet extractor help the process? Seems to me it would greatly increase not only purity but concentration of your final tinctures. Has anyone here tried this with Passion flower?

But what about beautiful Violet and her breed? I get that her breed isn't necessarily good for farming, but have you had problems with her breed or physique since you moved to the farm? I love her so much and would love an Italian mastiff but have the same life/farming wishes you had at first and would love some feedback on that. And to see more of beautiful Violet! Also, I understand about xl breeds and have seen firsthand how fast they can age, so if that is why she hasn't been on much, I understand and my biggest prayers and wishes to her!

Oh yes! This happens. I flip my upside down and let it mix... it also doesn't mix well in the honey is cold. I keep a box with herbs and honey in my car to warm it up!

Tennessee State Flower. I have several growing in my yard. They are loaded with fruit. So excited!
Here's a fun fact: Tennessee has two state flowers. It has a state wildflower, the passionflower, and the iris is the state cultivated flower.

Absolutely!!! I dry a good bit of my leaves and use them in my nighttime tea blends quite often!

I use neem oil to protect my plants. Would they still be okay to use if I wash them.

Violet is doing good! She is just slower these days and prefers to sleep in the shade then head out on adventures!

Hey there! It is not advised to take passionflower while pregnant as it may cause uterine contractions.
