My dad's worked security in Vegas for most my life and some of the stories I've been told are gruseome. People will actively come here to die, whether they lose all their life savings at the table, just went through a nasty divorce, or feel nobody would care if they took a nosedive off the top floor of the parking garage. Vegas is tight-lipped about it, and I feel for all the housekeeping who find the bodies before anyone else does. Our city has too many ghosts
I work as a general assistant at a hotel that is popular with weddings. One fateful evening I was on staff, assisting a full exclusivity wedding, meaning the wedding had complete use of the hotel. After serving everyone dinner and the first dance, I hear sobbing coming from the corridor. It’s the daughter of the bride and she is a mess. Black eye and bleeding, so we rushed to help her and find out her husband got completely smashed and started beating her, strangling and threatening to kill her. When the groom confronted him, he broke his nose. When the scumbag ran outside, we all quickly locked all the doors to keep him out and called the police. But the scumbag started trying to smash his way in through one of the lounge doors. To stop him I just kept punching his hands as he tried to reach through the smashed window panes to reach the door handle. All the while he is screaming that he’s going to kill me. And this guy is twice my size and I have never been in a fight in my life. But hearing the sirens of police cars approaching, he ran off into the night. The poor groom and daughter of the bride were an absolute mess. I felt so sorry for them and the traumatised children. The scumbag eventually turned himself in to police, and he is facing charges of battery, assault, attempted murder and destruction of private property. I’m currently waiting to be summoned to court to testify against him.
@julliferjosephtuba2202 my apologies for the miscommunication. Yes, the bride and groom were in their 50s. It was the brides adult daughter that got beat up by her own husband. I hope this explains better?
I've worked all different positions in the industry in several different resorts/hotels/motels even B&B's. So I can honestly say I've seen a lot 😳 but the most bizarre yet kinda wholesome - I was cleaning out a checkout and under the pillow I find a JCPENNEY'S nake lace box with ashes in them. Turns out it was this woman's husband and she said she takes him everywhere with her. ❤️
A neighbor worked at a Bed & Breakfast some years ago. Besides walking in on the couple mid coitus who didn’t answer after she knocked and announced, “Housekeeping” three times there was the woman who clogged the toilet with an assortment of tampons and “Flushable” wipes. Those things backed up the system and when it overflowed it went beyond the bathroom entrance and part of the carpet got soaked and had to be torn out!
To the "honeymooners" I feel like if they were my friends or even neighbors, the first thing that goes through my mind is "This is something that if I don't help him, this could effect him permanently." Fortunately I always carry a couple knives on me and considering I fancy myself an artist, I have no doubt I could have safely cut off his... impairment, and had little risk of causing further harm. I'd tell them to go do dinner and a movie and by the time you get back your little soldier will be ready for action once again.
I was working afternoon shift. Boutique hotel, very fancy. A couple came in looking for a room. Nicely dressed, middle-aged couple. Had a good credit card. No issues. The next afternoon I came in to the horror story from housekeeping. When they went to clean the room there was human poop everywhere. On the walls. On the mirrors. On the ceiling. We had to close the room and get it professionally cleaned by an outside team.
Right now I'm having a hard time deciding between the couple who left their empty sex toy boxes on one of the tables in the breakfast area or the woman who hid out here with her affair partner and kept playing musical chairs with different rooms when either her husband or kid found out what room they were currently in. (This last one was also crazy because we're a branch located in a rather small rural town- AKA, the kind of town where word spreads around super quickly, everyone knows everyone, and it's SUPER easy to find someone that you're looking for.) The affair partner especially was pretty sketch and kept drunk-dialing 911 from the room phone. 🙄 ETA that I work as one of three night auditors at our hotel (12:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M.)
Been working at a hotel for 2 going on 3 years. Here's a few: - housekeeper found 14 dildos and vibrators in a room. Guess called the next day asking for them, apparently was a sales woman. - American guests tried to cook a pizza in a safe thinking it was a microwave. - Indian cricket team was staying with their families. One family asked to have a bigger room and was upgraded to a triple (2 single beds and a king) then asked us to remove one of the beds. We didn't. We also had someone shit in our housekeeping sinks. I was the one who found it after arriving early to work that morning.
26:43 This honestly isn't very funny to me? Like, I could see how it could be funny, in the right situation, if you're pranking a friend. But it's not funny when you're traumatising someone who's just trying to do their job where they already get treated like crap and have to deal with awful stuff. Wrong place, definitely wrong person.

@Martin Hepworth that sounds absolutely terrifying! Glad to hear that you were not hurt. Good luck in court, hope he gets sent to prison.
The groom confronted the brides husband?
@@Mitsurugi2424 This story is confusing af. How old are the bride and groom here? are they like 50+ to have children who are already married?
@Mitsurugi2424 No the bride and groom were in their 50s. It was the brides adult daughter that got beat up by her own husband. Hope that explains it.

I can smell this comment
You don’t get paid enough to deal with that crap. No pun intended

I have explosive diarrea.
Just hearing this voice say the word "puuuuuke' (maybe with a couple of extra "u" letters) almost made me pee myself from laughing so hard.
Sometimes I doubt if this "robot" voice is really a robot. It sounded like he was laughing at the story at 3:24

Dafuq was that with the beer and the bananas in the bath tub.

I trust this turtle.
I don’t
Sweet stories are ahead
Omg song ring. That's why you do not use a metal ring. Silicone or rubber ones work just as good and can be removed no problems.

I don't know if I should be impressed by the first story or highly concerned they got that to work without setting off any alarms 😰😦
Beat a man close to death with desk phone.
