Qlik : 001_Section Access : On a single field

This video will explain
1) What is section access in Qlik?
2) How to implement section access on a single field for a Qlik application.
After watching this full video, you will learn
1) Once you apply section access in any Qlik application, if user ID is not mentioned in section access, that user will not able to access Qlik application eventhough user is having access of stream where the application is publisehd.
2) Section Access and Section Application both sentences are mendatory.
3) ACCESS and USERID both fields are mendatory for section access table.
4) Field on which data reduction need to be done must have values in UPPERCASE otherwise those values would be excluded after reload. (i.e. INDIA, USA, UK, FRANCE, AUSTRALIA etc.)
5) FieldName on which data reduction need to be done must be in UPPERCASE otherwise section acess will get failed and all users as per USERID list will see full data of that application. (i.e. COUNTRY and not Country)
6) * inside Section Access means not all values of a field from data model but * means all values mentioned in Section Access table.
7) Also note down that section access on QS will only work on Qlik Sense server and not on the QS Desktop version.

Hi Rohit, Hope you like this video. I have planned to release whole section access video series from simple section access to complex scenario. What you are asking is already in my plan. But you have to wait little longer for that. It is not good to directly create a video of complex scenario. My whole idea is to educate people from very basics of section access to complex one. Section Access on Qlik Sense will not work in Desktop version. You either need to have cloud version or Enterprise installed on Server. I am using Server version here and have few licenses which I am using to validate Qlik Sense Section Access.

Hi Manish , This video helped me a lot in relates to section access.
I have a question :
In front end we got many sheets and how to hide sheets as per the user.
I mean the user should not see all the 5 sheets we provide access to one or 2 sheets for each user.
