2:10 there is a much faster way to fill a layer with 50% gray, just hit Sift+F5 and choose it from the list I resized my image from 250ppi to 150ppi and the lines where still way to fine, you should really specify what size the "donor" image should be, i transformed the line layers by about 2-300% to make it look the same Thank you very much for the psd file, font and of course the lesson, i made my father a desktop background with several more bills

Hello again I'm still having problems with this tutorial at the stage of Ctrl-click to make it into a selection then clicking layer mask button but I only get a white box instead of the one shown in the video also my photo is still in front of the money image even after clicking the chain off. Also my layers don't show a black an white character just a white box I'm not certain what I'm doing wrong. Can you please explain? I must have missed a step but can't figure where I did wrong? HELP!

Yours looks dithered and engraved, and mine literally just looks like a wavy grid of white lines. I wonder if my version of photoshop is different (CS6) Mine looks like a white fishing cast net was dropped over it. Ill keep trying
I finally figured it out if anyone else gets caught here. I had to transform and play with the sizes of the filter/warp layers to get the desired effect.

buy parchment paper from staples. USD is printed on a linnen blend so parchment paper is the best commercial media for these cute little human bucks.
