This is the tutorial I was looking for since long, and finally found it. The important part of your tutorials is, you mention every option in detail and also for windows and Mac. Thank you for sharing...
Probably one of the best PS tutorials I have seen. Namely the speed was just right. Sometimes videos are so blazing fast you can't possibly follow or even take notes. Explanations clear and screen image of dialogue boxes were large enough to actually see. Some videos have elements so tiny you almost need to use an electron scanning microscope to even see what is being chosen,.Great job !
Awesome, I spent hours making a mosaic image by opening an image, resizing, cropping, and adding it to my image and repeating 120 times. I wish I knew about this method last week. Thank you Marty! You rock!
My teacher really loves your videos. Everyday when we get into our Photoshop lesson, she usually puts one of your videos as the lesson. Shes killing 2 stones by making you teach us and we get more in depth learning. I also really love these videos as well. As of right now I don't have Photoshop, but these videos really make me want to get it!
Perfect! Actually, the idea is pretty simple, but the result is just great! Special thanks for the high quality video, superior narrating sound (100% understandable speech that is crucially important for those whose first language is not Eng like me) and for the detailed explanation of everything you do! Amazing!!!
You r just aweso....i was litterly noob in tNice tutorials...u explained it very simply...thanks i will surely go for next parts of tNice tutorials video.. thanks
Blue Lightening Hands down the best photoshop tutorial page. I wish everyone who does a tutorial would just go through the steps without all the chatter.
Great tutorial!!! Very easy to follow, the only question I have is when making my folder with the pictures I love, all the pictures are shown with the serial number, how do I get read of that?
Marty, that was absolutely the best tutorial I have ever seen on any subject. You made my day and now I have to figure out how to follow you, forever, ja,ja..... Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Thanks for this. Brilliant plus you just saved me £117 as I've been struggling to make a mosaic, saw a tutorial about doing it with Lightroom and thought maybe I had to use that to create it! Durrrrr! I feel confident I can do this with Ps now, thank you. Instructions so clear and concise. Don't suppose there are written instuctions too?!

Good tutorial. For a larger amount of photos, it's easier to build the columns and rows in InDesign, use place with Command + Shift to build it and use fit content to box. That way you don't have to necessarily adjust each mask individually. You can just copy paste that into PS.
Hello, this is by far the best collage tutorial I have came across. I was wondering, I can't see the "Use File name as Caption" so I can't uncheck this, where can I find this? Thank you.
@@BLTV_Photoshop Thank you so much for your reply, really appreciate this. By the way, while I was adjusting the images in the Contact Sheet, my images seems to be very very blur/low res, is there anything I can do about this?
Great tutorial--thanks. I'm curious whether the circles in alternating rows can be offset from the rows above and beneath it? Kind of like a honeycomb grid where every other row is off-set by half the diameter of the circle in the row above and row beneath it.
Thank you for this video. A suggestion to all who view, when I sorted pictures out for my project, I selected the pictures in thumbnail mode so I could see how the image looked prior to importing into Photoshop.
This is so crazy, I took a photo, a man/ghost was in the photo, when I zoomed into the top of his head about a thousand photos of strange things like people on webcam was ingrain in his head, I had to zoom in really close and the clarity of the photos that close was just phenomenal any ideas anyone I'm scared and confused ??
@@BLTV_Photoshop Thank you for replying so quickly! It looked really low res when I was aligning them but the end result came out beautiful! Thank you so much for your tutorial.
Blue Lightning TV Photoshop Oh okay. I tried to find a hard disk software pkg and found nothing. I’ll go check out the CC platform. Thank you. I love your videos enough to change from Corel PSP to PS. I tried to do some of your videos in PSP and I only did the photo mosaic one successfully. Trying to wrap text on a face didn’t work well. Thanks again. I’ve done digital graphics for years and never made the change.
Hi! Thank you so much for such a great video. I have been thinking about making a photo mosaic portrait of my aunt for her retirement from US military over 30 years. I was wondering if the resolution would look blurred or be far different than the result on the program if I size it up and print out to fit in a big picture frame. Also, could you please recommend the size for a picture frame that would come out clear?
Because there are so many images, the document's file size is huge. If your computer's specs can handle a higher resolution, then go for it. The picture frame has no bearing on the clarity of the final image.
TIP: If the file names are included in the "Contact Sheet", remember to first uncheck "Use File name as Caption" in the Contact Sheet II window.
thankyou! this is so helpful
thanks

How do I do it? I have all photos on my screen with the name of the File.

helpful tip: alternate the 12 and 8 for a portrait mosaic instead of landscape
I tried it! Thanks.
Please all the images in my folder are 1:1 ,and when i try to change the aspect to a 12 by 12 for example i can't.

For this tutorial, I used Photoshop CC 2017. The filter that creates the mosaic is called Contact Sheet II.
Marty, I have a suggestion for a tutorial "Composition with Triangles" Do a model and place a couple of diagonal words in the composition
Fantastic 😍😍💕💥💥
Ooooh yeah. Now I can create my own Marvel logo with my images inside the letters

Great idea, however, as a pattern, there would be a problem of alignment along the edges.

Yes, but your document's file size will be immense.
