I really like the Maplelea brand. I specifically love the way they bring all the bright colors together and make them work! I’m amazed by that because all those colors by themselves are beautiful but I would never be able to match them together like that, lol. They do, and they look awesome and very high quality. I also appreciate the fact that they layer the outfits. I love the footwear, and headwear. I also love the idea of the diary. I need one of those diaries yesterday! lol! ❤❤❤

I love the quality of Maplelea outfits. They look as though they will hold up to play and be future heirlooms. The lavender undies came with Truly Me in about 2013-16 with the lavender meet dress.
@@nanasewdear truthfully, Maplelea outfits feel like actual clothes in 1:3 scale. Even the soles of the boots feel like what you’d wear yourself. It’s pretty incredible

The Maplelea one is pretty with more details, but I feel like more for kids, where as the AG one is a little more sophisticated, and not so little girl. Thanks for sharing your collection. I wish Maplelea sold more of their outfits as separates. I like pieces of their outfits, but not usually the entire outfit. I do love their boots and shoes. Watching from NY. :)

AG is cuter and more doll like but ML is more realistic, so I find her more beautiful than TM4. Yeah these witch shoes are too long and narrow. I’m not saying it won’t fit, I’m just saying I won’t try lol.
The Maplelea store makes us Canadians look like down-to-earth people for sure: the antithesis to the AG flagship stores! 😀 We really do have fancy stores for some things, but this is just a different business model. I’m glad they can survive without a physical store. It gives me hope that AG can do okay after closing so many of their stores. Of course they have much larger sales targets they need to consider an item a good seller. P.S. Yes, Banff is in BC, and Taryn lives in the Rockies.

I did get the matching Christmas outfits and everything else I got was just for my one boy doll, Jacob. The poor thing needs clothes. My boy doll is actually in Our Generation doll called Theodore, he was a skateboarder. I absolutely love him. I couldn’t really find an American Girl boy doll that I wanted honestly. And he was right here in my town. I think he’s really cute and his hair is so so soft. I might look at some of the Maplelea dolls now that I’ve dipped my toe in. The dolls are the same price as American Girl and the clothes and accessories seem to be priced a bit better in US dollars. After watching your video, I want that pink parka and which outfits so much! I already have the sunrise Nova Scotia sweater set on my list!

Your Marisol is so pretty. I really need to upgrade mine. I got mine years ago and she’d lost some hair to a previous owner. She has shoulders like a football player and her body is stuffed so softly that her head and big shoulders almost bend her in half. I just love the Maplelea clothes. The first outfit you put on your Repunzel (sorry I forgot what you renamed her), it so stinkin cute! Although the AG witch outfit is cute, the Maplelea witch outfit screams quality. I like some of the Maplelea faces. I find them very cute, but I can’t compare them to AG. They are both cute, but when they are together in one picture, something looks off with the Maplelea dolls. I have Saila and I’d like another one to be friends with her. I find the non character dolls to be more my style.

ML faces are more detailed, almost lifelike whereas AG dolls have softer, more doll like features, so when they’re together, ML become creepier, uncanny valley. I wanted to display the witches together, but instead they’re at opposite ends of my window 🤣 The clothes on the other hand!! When they fit AG, they go together so perfectly.

Thank you so much for showing us KMF68! I've had my eye on her since she came out. All the new stock photos look very off compared to how the dolls look in person, especially the skin tones. I'm not sure what's going on there, but KMF68 is so beautiful! I really want KMF10, the other Asian doll with medium length, straight hair and no bangs, but I don't know if they'll ever bring her back, so I might get KMF68 instead. I still plan on getting KMF51 first though (just waiting for all the new stuff to come out so I can do one order)--she's so cute up there on your shelf in the background!

It’s the “Black Canadian” mould but a bit lighter skinned and long, straight, textured hair. If I ever see her on marketplace!!! I think the and-me dolls retire. 51 is really precious, especially in the kittens and paws outfit.
@@DisBlaine KMF12 is also one that I wanted! I wish I had gotten into Maplelea a little sooner so KMF 10 and 12 would have still been around. I saw on a post somewhere that at some point in 2023 there was one of those "notifiy me when available" buttons for KMF 10 and a message on her page that said she would be in stock next year (which would be this year), but I doubt that will ever happen now. I'm super curious about the other new Maplelea & Me doll that is supposed to come out at the end of next month.

Maplelea has some nice new outfits and I did notice the price increase. I missed the free shipping sale last week. The outfit on Crystal is in my Maplelea cart I love their sweater outfits. Are the pants tight on the AG doll.The long hair scares me. I never saw the pink plush outfit before it is really cute. I like Mia and I have most of her outfits. The which costume is really nice now I want to get it. It looks better in person than on the website. I love the vibrant colors n Maplelea clothes but that dye saturation is what scares me regarding dye transfer on my dolls. Is there a lining under the black top of the which costume. The Maplelea doll molds definitely look better in this new release. The socks are new they are in my cart also. The green boots are really cute. Good score on Marisol. M Marisol ha a wavy soft cur to her wig. I would be worried to get the rocker outfit because of the black and red pants. The outfit looks great with the skirt.
@@nailahvenable7989 yeah the pants on the Nova Scotia set are definitely tight. Easy to get on but like skinny jeans. You’re right: the witch costume is lined. It’s white underneath. BUT! The thread is black, which is what caused the issues with the moon cakes outfit. I’ll have to keep an eye on Crystal because she wears shorts in the summer, and I don’t want her legs to look bruised! Maplekea outfits are my favorite quality wise, but it’s risky dressing AG in off brand clothes. I’m so glad you like the socks too!! They feel super Canadian, so I’m not sure how much they appeal south of the border lol. Yeah I think my Marisol has lost her subtle curl. I’m pics her wig always looks more luxurious. But I won’t complain about straight hair when she was such a phenomenal price!

I think you can re-curl Marisol hair. contact the doll studio by Kris or Obsessed doll boy both on UA-cam they do great things with doll hair and they may have some helpful advise on how to get the curl back in her hair. also once people see the socks they are going to love them also it is like the Maplelea moose slippers I saw them on AGtakesover video and ordered two pair. Do you know if you can take the maplelea eyes out like the american girl dolls? I love wig and eye swapping but wasn't sure how customizable the maplelea girls are.
@@kydrasims9734 yeah everything seems to be constructed the same way as AG. All in different sizes of course, but you can eye and wig swap. All the ones I have come with decal eyes, so they’re more detailed.

I have 2 or 3 dolls with super long torsos, a #3 from around 2005-6, as well as my Elizabeth and the third Felicity, whom I sent to my cousin in Colorado, it's almost off putting 😂 And I completely agree with the statement of it being harder to dress them. I tried putting the purple birthstone romper of the #3 and it literally didn't fit without giving her wicked camel toe lmfao

0:02 I saw this video and got so excited! I just ordered my very first Maplelea outfits over the weekend. I love that they have clothes for boy dolls, and they seem so cute! I did get the matching Christmas outfits and everything else I got was just for my one boy doll, Jacob. The poor thing needs clothes. I have a list of all the other outfits I want for him and my other dolls too, though.

@@DisBlaine I got the bush pilot outfit, is that the one you’ve been looking at? I’m really excited about it. I also got the socks, underwear and T-shirt set and the festive farm truck pajamas. My boy doll is actually in Our Generation doll called Theodore, he was a skateboarder. I absolutely love him. I couldn’t really find an American Girl boy doll that I wanted honestly. And he was right here in my town. I think he’s really cute and his hair is so so soft. I might look at some of the Maplelea dolls now that I’ve dipped my toe in. The dolls are the same price as American Girl and the clothes and accessories seem to be priced a bit better in US dollars. After watching your video, I want that pink parka and which outfits so much! I already have the sunrise Nova Scotia sweater set on my list!
Very cute outfits, your dolls look lovely. It was funny when you said someone didn't know to hold there sleeves when putting on a jacket. I'm from NZ and was born in the 60s and pretty sure I learnt that back then.

Your Marisol is so pretty. I really need to upgrade mine. I got mine years ago and she’d lost some hair to a previous owner. She has shoulders like a football player and her body is stuffed so softly that her head and big shoulders almost bend her in half.
I just love the Maplelea clothes. The first outfit you put on your Repunzel (sorry I forgot what you renamed her), it so stinkin cute! Although the AG witch outfit is cute, the Maplelea witch outfit screams quality.
I like some of the Maplelea faces. I find them very cute, but I can’t compare them to AG. They are both cute, but when they are together in one picture, something looks off with the Maplelea dolls. I have Saila and I’d like another one to be friends with her. I find the non character dolls to be more my style.
@@melangellperry5984 I totally agree about putting Maplelea with AG! ML faces are more detailed, almost lifelike whereas AG dolls have softer, more doll like features, so when they’re together, ML become creepier, uncanny valley. I wanted to display the witches together, but instead they’re at opposite ends of my window 🤣
The clothes on the other hand!! When they fit AG, they go together so perfectly.
Great video once again! The Maplelea witch costume shoes remind me of the wicked witch shoes from the Wizard of Oz. Much better than the AG boots!

Thank you so much for showing us KMF68! I've had my eye on her since she came out. All the new stock photos look very off compared to how the dolls look in person, especially the skin tones. I'm not sure what's going on there, but KMF68 is so beautiful! I really want KMF10, the other Asian doll with medium length, straight hair and no bangs, but I don't know if they'll ever bring her back, so I might get KMF68 instead. I still plan on getting KMF51 first though (just waiting for all the new stuff to come out so I can do one order)--she's so cute up there on your shelf in the background!

I wish they would bring back 12! It’s the “Black Canadian” mould but a bit lighter skinned and long, straight, textured hair. If I ever see her on marketplace!!! I think the and-me dolls retire.

@@DisBlaine KMF12 is also one that I wanted! I wish I had gotten into Maplelea a little sooner so KMF 10 and 12 would have still been around. I saw on a post somewhere that at some point in 2023 there was one of those "notifiy me when available" buttons for KMF 10 and a message on her page that said she would be in stock next year (which would be this year), but I doubt that will ever happen now. I'm super curious about the other new Maplelea & Me doll that is supposed to come out at the end of next month.

They did have a pop up in the Easton centre or maybe it was square one, I never did make it out to it. It would be cool if they had something like the AG stores but I don’t think the demand is that big here. Anyway super excited to see your camp doll. I want that outfit real bad but I just can’t get into maplelea dolls. They look to much like porcelain dolls and they just creep me out. I hope they bring just the outfit out at some point. Us cold climate people know, if you’re putting a sweater on a doll with sleeves underneath, use an elastic or something to hold the sleeve down just like we do with our clothes 🤣

Maplelea has some nice new outfits and I did notice the price increase. I missed the free shipping sale last week. The outfit on Crystal is in my Maplelea cart I love their sweater outfits. Are the pants tight on the AG doll.The long hair scares me. I never saw the pink plush outfit before it is really cute. I like Mia and I have most of her outfits. The which costume is really nice now I want to get it. It looks better in person than on the website. I love the vibrant colors n Maplelea clothes but that dye saturation is what scares me regarding dye transfer on my dolls. Is there a lining under the black top of the which costume. The Maplelea doll molds definitely look better in this new release. The socks are new they are in my cart also. The green boots are really cute. Good score on Marisol. M Marisol ha a wavy soft cur to her wig. I would be worried to get the rocker outfit because of the black and red pants. The outfit looks great with the skirt.
@@nailahvenable7989 yeah the pants on the Nova Scotia set are definitely tight. Easy to get on but like skinny jeans. You’re right: the witch costume is lined. It’s white underneath. BUT! The thread is black, which is what caused the issues with the moon cakes outfit.
I’ll have to keep an eye on Crystal because she wears shorts in the summer, and I don’t want her legs to look bruised! Maplekea outfits are my favorite quality wise, but it’s risky dressing AG in off brand clothes.

Yeah I think my Marisol has lost her subtle curl. I’m pics her wig always looks more luxurious. But I won’t complain about straight hair when she was such a phenomenal price!

I think you can re-curl Marisol hair. contact the doll studio by Kris or Obsessed doll boy both on UA-cam they do great things with doll hair and they may have some helpful advise on how to get the curl back in her hair. also once people see the socks they are going to love them also it is like the Maplelea moose slippers I saw them on AGtakesover video and ordered two pair. Thanks for another great video.

@@DisBlaine oh OK that makes sense I have family in the US and could do something like that but I don’t visit them often enough. I also don’t want my stuff sitting around for months or longer. and that sucks that they try to deactivate your account. They really should make the rewards program available to people who live in Canada. especially now that chapters no longer sells AG products.
Do you know if you can take the maplelea eyes out like the american girl dolls? I love wig and eye swapping but wasn't sure how customizable the maplelea girls are.
@@kydrasims9734 yeah everything seems to be constructed the same way as AG. All in different sizes of course, but you can eye and wig swap. All the ones I have come with decal eyes, so they’re more detailed.
Nice haul! I have 2 or 3 dolls with super long torsos, a #3 from around 2005-6, as well as my Elizabeth and the third Felicity, whom I sent to my cousin in Colorado, it's almost off putting 😂 And I completely agree with the statement of it being harder to dress them. I tried putting the purple birthstone romper of the #3 and it literally didn't fit without giving her wicked camel toe lmfao
