67 yr young lady who had to fix this dryer for my daughter. But I did it!!!
Just an fyi LG has now ( 6 months ago) replaced the brushes with the axle already in the brush!

Hello!
I am trying to find a replacement drum for my LG dryer as the seam is starting to come undone, 1 month after warranty expired!!
So I clicked on your site and they are no longer available. I tried soldering it and it didn't stick for whatever reason and then tried a high temp epoxy and that didn't work either. It is just thumping where the seam is! I guess I will see if someone can weld it.
It is a pretty new dryer!!! UGH! Any help would be appreciated.

great video, one question when I replaced my drum I noticed when I rotated it that the new drum is slightly out of round, maybe a 1/2" on a full rotation. Is this something that can be corrected or are the tolerances fine? Thank you

This is not uncommon to have the slightly out of round, by slightly I mean noticeable to the eye, if it is making a thumping or scraping sound then it is likely the box got squeezed during transportation as well as the drum.
