This thing was on my eBay watch list for a while. Glad it went to someone that'll take care of it. I was going to buy it but I knew it was one of those things that I would most likely put in a box and never touch again like my 60's GE fridge condenser fan. Very cool.
The RPM isn't listed as the motor can run on both 50 and 60 Hz. Sounds like it needs new thrust washers from the knocking sound the motor is making. I would get a VFD so you can very the Hz going into the motor to control the speed of the fan. Can't want to see you refurbish this! 🙂
@@TheAirConditionerGuy True. The only unit from that era I ever saw with just one fan motor was a circa 1953 Universal which was in one of my high school classrooms and the fan for the condenser was a 3 blade that looked suspiciously like this one.

Never heard of Victron before. That must have been from early 50s or late 40s.
