Was using Barret/Tifa/Reno/Sonon (EX1 mind you)/Aerith like in the previous vid of yours, but my turn 3 only gets boss to 81% whereas yours got him to 6%. Would EX3 Cissnei work over Sonon, in this event? Or would Sephiroth be viable whatsoever?? Trying to rack my brains on how to finish this fight once and for all.
My Biggs and Wedge was/were able to tank this without dying with Reno and Aerith’s help, so they are a viable substitute for Barrett as well. And probably goes without saying, but you can use Genesis if you don’t have Cloud. I just got my first Cloud a few days ago, but EX2 Genesis does just fine with a little dmg support from Tifa (2 crowns on her shift form) since he does hit that stupid one hit dmg cap on this boss. I put the pre-emptive Reaper materia on Tifa as Genesis is slot hungry maxing his mp and magic while giving him enough reaper killer to hit the dmg cap. Yuffie may be another option if you don’t have Cloud or Genesis.
hmmm i've got the exact same setup but my burst turn is only getting the boss to 6%.....though I did push him to 67% on turn 2....does he buff himself i wonder?
Yikes Sinzar, that’s a tough clear right there. I get him to 8 percent and then he proceeds to Unleash the Donkey Punches… Love your content. Update: Used some Esper Ores to unlocked the last breaker killer on Bahamut and the Undead Killer on Phoenix and cleared it first try. Amazing.
My Cloud is only EX1, I Cant have his LB at the start, and if I can get it full at the end, I can't have it ready again at the 3rd turn. What can I change? Can I use other character instead?
Unfortunately this clear didn't help me at all. I did figure it out eventually with my ex 1 strife ex 2 tifa Biggs and wedge aerith and Reno. My Reno was not crowned because I skipped that fight. Biggs and wedge never died very easy tank for him a little bit of spr and hp. There's so much fixed damage evasion barely matters. Get as close to the threshold 70 percent as you can push it on turn 4 use Biggs and wedge to imbue strife and finish. First burst was 80 percent second was 20 percent and ex1 strife finished it from 20 percent all from 85 percent breaks. I see these huge list of ex 3 units I'm free to play my guys are all ex1. Biggs and wedge is amazing both for the cover and got the entrust great unit even with out nv. 5 turn clear.
Yeah sadly I don't see myself able to pull off this fight in general. It's literally my fault. Aside from not having cloud 😅 I just don't think I can do it. Hopefully it's not a major loss down the road
@@truthseeker198doesn't give you the abilities though, just the stat upgrades/lb change. I detest that they locked the abilities behind beating these fights. It's impossible for new players and time limited is just obnoxious because if you miss it these units are essentially dead inventory.
Aye I managed but had a ko. I can deal with that. Used Tifa and the funny yuffie. Thankfully she helped me power through with her earth amp. Then died lol
@@davidanderson9967 I was considering using her over Cloud since she also has the inherent reaper killer and due to the fact that my Yuffie is 2* compared to my 1* Cloud. I have decent units and gear, but I'm hot trash when it comes to timing my caps for the big damage. Have you managed the Sephiroth fight by chance?

by chance are they gonna make silver crown mission perm in the future theres quite a few ive missed or started to do but was unable to finish especially the ones that add abilities like the recent kog . if anyone knows please let me know
As I understand it, there is a Chambers for these missions on JP, but we shoulda had that by around Deoxys or FA Rain, so we have no expected time for arrival on Global.
Yeah, it's pretty frustrating that we just miss out on these. I get that they want people to pull to be able to do them more easily, but tbh, the majority of the player base is still not whales and can't afford to pull units for every new difficult limited time trial that comes out.

It's not an easy fight. *Something* expensive or limited is going to be required. I have EX+1 NuBarret and EX+1 NuCloud with his Power to Defy Fate V materia.
If you're using EX3 units from FF7 and Cissnei herself, you get 330% drops on the shard stage. It should be 27 shards per run. Yeah the runs are 50 NRG but it doesn't take long.

Just pulled first Barrett from the daily free 10 pull a second ago lol. Oh well, only used Cactuars to level Biggs and Wedge.

Why is Sonon replaceable when he gives reaper killer to your entire party?
He is easily replacable especially if you have a tifa

You can always use golden crowns on tifa if you need. Try to do the earlier stages to use the least amout of golden crowns possible in the future.
