Tifa's scar isn't a typical one. The book Tales of Two Pasts explains that she received a skin graft, meaning where her wound was that there is only a slight indent (it's not shown because I imagine it would be hard to animate). That's why Sephiroth is able to convince Cloud that she has no scar when he has his mental episode in the reactor.
Lol. Unlike the original FF7, it does seem like they're really making Cloud terrible in this game. His Jenova cells were messing with his memory in the original and he did give Sephiroth the black materia. However, in Rebirth there are many moments where he feels nerfed and almost every moment he's chastised for his actions. He's even doing more malicious actions in this.
I really like how Sephiroth, who is implied to know the OG game, is targeting Tifa in this game because if you played the original, you would know that it’s her who is the biggest spanner in the works for his plan. With Tifa out of the picture, it doesn’t matter what Aerith does, Cloud would forever remain a slave to Sephiroth and his JENOVA cells

I wouldn't be that much of a problem, but in the same game, we do see Tifa wearing a bikini, and unless if I'm missing something, I can't see Tifa's scar anywhere during that part of the game.
The canon behind it is that she doesn’t exactly have a visible scar, she got a skin graft over the site and it’s blended into her own skin (as the doctor there said, she’s a young girl she doesn’t want a huge scar on her chest) but what they couldn’t cover up was the slight indent where the scar was. That’s what she is showing cloud but it’s not noticeable to us from far away

If he no feeling to her, why he always show tenderness towards Tifa and try to give the impression that he was powerful, and only to her. Tifa to him is very important. More than a simple childhood friend. I think if Nomura really played the role of a lover based on Aerith and Cloud's starting point, then he really failed, haha. Because it's obvious that everyone feels the connection between Tifa and him, both of them are just not good at expressing it. Honestly the characters must have been so confusingly mixed. Basically what Nomura said was the exact opposite of what he said in the interview in the relationship part. Guess just greedy for money and want to make money from the two female characters😂
why'd they frame it like she flashed him. The scar is just below the boob and you can clearly see she didn't raise her shirt that high. If the concern was pervs making a serious scene weird then they just made it worse.
She doesn't even know the full truth because she doesn't even know that Cloud was there 5 years ago. If y'all thought for just a second you'd see why she isn't saying anything yet. He's already teetering on the edge, she's not trying send him over it by being an unreliable narrator. Funnily enough, Sephiroth uses Tifa's incomplete truth to break Cloud. Justifying Tifa's choice to gather all the information before acting. But that relies on Cloud actually remembering.
I can't stand Tifa in this scene. I don't agree with anyone who says that Cloud was at fault in any way for this. This girl woke him up out of his sleep and asked him to come up and talk to her and immediately jumped to conclusions about what he said happened to her in Nibelheim. Sure, we (the player) know that Sephiroth is trying to manipulate Cloud into thinking she's not real, but Tifa herself doesn't even know that and there's no reason she has even seen yet for her to assume that Cloud would think that. She resorts the conversation to an argument and rudely criticizes him about where he was for 5 years as if he owes her something or as if it was somehow his fault that she almost died, to which he says he can't tell her where he was due to confidentiality which she is somewhat aware of as hinted in the Nibelheim flashback when she wants to go up to the reactor. Then she has the audacity to cry about it and tells him she needs space, then decides to wait for him to come downstairs and continues to provoke him, AFTER SHE JUST SAID SHE NEEDED SPACE. I don't care what anybody says, the conflict and tension that was happening between Cloud and Tifa here and even in Junon was completely Tifa's fault, I don't see how anyone can defend her in this case. Cloud only said like 10 words about how he thought it was too late for her to be saved. She was being dramatic.
He is at fault. Why is he listening to Sephiroth of all people & immediately trying to verify Tifa's existence? Tifa doesn't even get to ask her question yet. He's not even being controlled here either. He actively took Sephiroth's words at face value & ran with it. Tifa correctly deduced what Cloud was trying to imply to which she asks & he doesn't deny. No wonder she was hurt by that. Trying to imply that she's not real invalidates all the suffering she endured & overcame to make a life for herself in the past 5 years after Nibelheim. Ofc Cloud doesn't know the details, but it wasn't the right thing to say. Doubting her existence would obviously cause her to get defensive. That's a natural response for anyone. Like, the whole reason she even asked to talk to him was because she wanted to ask where he'd been the past 5 years but he won't answer. And that only worries Tifa further because from the moment she found him in Midgar she could tell that something was wrong, but didn't know what, & she wants to know what happened to him so, she can help him (which is why him opening to her unprompted in Gongaga about his memory/identity issues was so vital). If Cloud had just ignored Sephiroth & not doubt her existence, Tifa wouldn't have gotten so defensive when trying find out where he's been. And this isn't the first she's asked. She's been asking since Remake, but back then she wasn't defensive since the whole Tifa imposter allegations weren't being thrown at her yet. Just knowing that Cloud thinks she's an imposter hurts because now she has to put how close they are into question. That's why he takes accountability for letting Sephiroth get to him & doubting her. And in turn, she takes accountability for getting emotional & doubting how much he trusts her. Like, dawg, you're getting mad at Tifa for correctly deducing what Cloud was implying & getting defensive over having her existence doubted by someone she deeply cares for & been consistently looking out for since finding him.
@@kez1z Read what I wrote again. "Tifa doesn't even get to ask her question yet" Bruh, she told him to go first lol. She said "shoot" when he said that he needed to talk to her too. Cloud said "I saw you lying there, I thought it was too late." Now listen to what I'm saying carefully, we, the players already know that Sephiroth is trying to manipulate Cloud, but Cloud's words to Tifa alone does not give her any reason to believe that Cloud thought that she wasn't real. Tifa doesn't even know that Sephirtoth is trying to manipulate Cloud, she doesn't see it and has absolutely no reason at all to assume this. If someone merely told you, "I saw you lying there, I thought it was too late" would you seriously automatically jump to the conclusion that this person thinks that you're an imposter?? I don't know about you, but if someone said that to me I would probably either look down in pity and sadness or just try to comfort them that I'm all right. That's why I'm not defending her, and I already explained why I don't defend Tifa when it comes to the rest of her tirade too. Sorry, but you can't convince me that this was Cloud's fault. When it comes to Sephiroth manipulating him and stuff, that's not his fault of course and you're right that Cloud should've ignored Sephiroth but it doesn't change the fact that Cloud didn't even say anything to Tifa for her to believe that he thought she wasn't real. She resorted this to an argument and continued to provoke him.
@@phoenixblossom2167 Yeah, I didn't like how Tifa treated Cloud at that moment. She immediately jumped to conclusions that Cloud was implying that she's an imposter just because he told her that he saw Tifa mortally wounded at the Mt. Nibel Mako Reactor. Then she proceeds to go ranting about the people who saved her life and then has the nerve to ask Cloud where he was. Tifa then says that she needs some space, but she should have gone back into her room instead of waiting in the hall for Cloud so she could guilt-trip him. I wished she took the time to apologize to him.
@@EvelynL.1112 Damn right she guilt-tripped him. I can't stand characters or even people in general who try to make someone feel bad and guilty over things that are not even their fault, especially right after you tell them that you don't want to continue the conversation further and yet you keep pressing on about it. This is not the only time that Tifa is pulling crap on Cloud in the game either. Remember when they get to Junon Tifa was trying to test Cloud by asking him a question about another boy from their hometown, but it doesn't work because Cloud saw through Tifa's bs right away and he gets slightly irritated at her for it. I also hated when Tifa tells Cloud later on in the game that she will be the one to tell Aerith about what apparently happened to Zack when Cloud himself says that he wants to tell her himself. Tifa goes on to tell Cloud that she will be the one to tell Aerith because she and Aerith are "close", and she says that as if Cloud and Aerith are not close at all. Have you played OG FF7? Once you have the full story, things make more sense here.
Great GAME
Can I see the scar, please?
Tifa youve had all of remake and rebirth maybe if you didnt sugar coat everything and tell cloud the truth streight up hed be less fucked up
She doesn't even know the full truth because she doesn't even know that Cloud was there 5 years ago.
Cloud said "I saw you lying there, I thought it was too late."
Now listen to what I'm saying carefully, we, the players already know that Sephiroth is trying to manipulate Cloud, but Cloud's words to Tifa alone does not give her any reason to believe that Cloud thought that she wasn't real.
What kind of person does and says something like that?
This girl gets on my nerves sometimes. So dramatic.
@@phoenixblossom2167 At least she acknowledges her flaws of being a people-pleaser and that she hates that about herself. I hope in Part 3 of the FF7 Remake trilogy that she takes responsibility for how she treated Cloud overall and then openly apologizes to him. That would give her a great way to conclude her character arc.
Tifa body is outstanding
This is awful lol
sorry But NO I Dont Like How Tifa Was Treating Cloud That Way He Seen His Village Being Burned Down People He Loved Killed And Thought Tifa Died He Was Mentally Mindfucked By Sephiroth And Carried That PTSD With Him Throughout His Whole Life Saying He Let Everybody Down And Couldn't Save Anyone Cloud Is Only Pushing Tifa Away Was Because He Did Not Need What Happened In His Village Happen Again There's Nothing Wrong With His Rationality He Was Just Being Cautious And Thinking About Tifa Safety He's Keeping Her In The Dark For A Reason
How would she know if he doesnt communicate?
