- In today's flight training video, I'm going to walk you through the step by step process for performing slow flight. This is definitely something that you can expect your DPE to test you on during your check ride, so mastering this skill is critical to passing that check ride!
Thanks for watching!

👋 About Me 👋
After a successful business career where I've started and sold a number of companies, I've decided to get out from behind my computer to pursue a lifelong passion and start career 2.0 as a professional pilot. My goal is to get to 1500 hours and then either work for a large regional, a major, or possibly even cargo. You can learn more at www.FlyWithTrent.com.

I would love more of these instructional videos to supplement my own learning. Just started a few weeks ago. Repetition to engrain the concepts a little deeper. Great video
More to come in the week ahead. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. It all helps my channel to grow and help more guys/gals like us!!
I really appreciate this video, Trent. Not every pilot is also a good Instructor. You are both! Excellent articulation, all around! I just smashed that subscribe button!
Glad it was helpful!
You have a super calm and confident voice. Super job!
Thank you so much 🙂
Ty 🛬🛩️🇺🇸👍🏼 very much Trent! Awesome helpful content! Nice little plane BTW, similar to a Merlin or a Pimpestrel! Have a great weekend 💪🏼
Thx Aldo!
Just stated slow flight, and recovery, today in an LSA and man you make it look so easy… My CFI said I did very well especially with winds at 15KT which made it hard to keep the heading if I wasn’t pointed exactly up or downwind. That just meant I also practiced how to crab. I’ll watch this video 15 more times tonight and wow my instructor when we do it again tomorrow. Thanks 👍
Thx for watching and good luck tomorrow!!
Thanks for the instructional video. Great to see the light sport in action and available on your website!
You bet!
Check Ride is next week. Thanks for the content and encouragement!
You got this!
NIcely done. Somehow slow flight and stall recovery came natural to me. Landing took some work.
Thanks for watching, Brian!
I really liked that video, very well done and easy to follow. The change of scenery (cockpit) is actually something I look forward to now and keeps videos dynamic and engaging, at least for me. I appreciate a straight to the point digestible video and I feel more confident in slow flight already. I'll be referencing this again for sure. Thanks for the great content

Thanks for the clear direct explanations! You mentioned that there wasn't any traffic, but for a checkride I'd point out that we need to do clearing turns.
I’ve recorded three training videos on that flight, and I was pretty sure that I said to do clearing turns, and all of them, but maybe I missed doing it in this one. You are definitely right. Clearing turns are a must on a check ride.
Nice. Thank you, My brother.
You’re welcome, Corey!
Thanks Trent! Please keep videos like this coming, if you can.

Great explanation. Picked up the Soviet Cunuckstani accent on the slow flight narration. Aircraft looked nice with a moon roof and TAA panel. What was the antenna device on the dash?
How’s it going, eh? 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Antenna is for GPS.
Love the channel man!
Thx!
I really wish you were my instructor😂
Thx! 🙏
First! how did you know ill be doing this soon!
Mind reader! 🤣🤣
Great video Trent! There is a school 30 minutes south of me that their training fleet is Remos.
How do you like that aircraft for training?
I think it’s terrific!
Hi Trent, what are you flying there?
Demos GX light sport. Just got it :)
I always call trim poor mans autopilot. 🤣
Also funnily enough. I have my PPL but still watch all of your videos
