São Miguel is such a beautiful place, I vacation here every summer. The dedication they have to maintain their island clean is amazing. They conserve this island very well. I hope she didn’t leave her bottle discarded near those stairs.

I Lauza, I MIchael!!...Azores, the only part of Portugal I never been, looks well different from Madeira, but very beautiful and cosy.
As for Fado, there's fado nights in Madeira, as far as I know, mainly in the old town (Zona velha) Funchal, in relation to the coffee, Delta is the king of the coffees in Portugal, Madeira and Azores included, but Terrier exists to, less seen, but you come across it from time to time.
Lets wait for the next episode of the Azores adventure.

I'm a new subscriber and I've been bouncing around between your Madeira and Azores videos and am finding your content helpful. Love you both. You are so charming. I did get a chuckle in this video when Michael said, " The pedestrians are small." I know he was referring to the sidewalks, not the people. I hope you don't mind that I laughed at that phrase. Your english is excellent and I can't speak any other languages..just phrases, so I admire you for your language skills. Thanks again for the wonderful video content you provide. I'm trying to decide whether to visit Azores or Madeira. Obrigado!

I am originally from sao miguel my parents immigrated to America in 1966 I say why???? we left paradise. i was just 3 if it wasn't for visiting i wouldn't know how beautiful it was. I was to small to remember.

Great video gives me an idea on what to expect. Did you do any tours or you booked by yourself. Was it difficult to get a taxi or do you recommend uber
We generally haven’t done any tours yet. We always get a rental car and explore on our own. The city is quite small and easily walkable.

Are the vehicles automatic or all manual.
I’m sure you can get an automatic, but we always got manual.
Our intention with our videos is to share our explorations to inspire to just go out end find something new. We never prepare or research, we just get lost, which is for us the best way to have a good time.
