New subscriber here. I'm a fellow UA-camr based in Edmonton, Alberta. Always get excited to see other Canadian UA-cam channels with folks getting outdoors - hiking, hunting, camping and fishing. I'm excited to follow along. Great video and an awesome trip. The tent looks great. I need to get something like this for those winter trips. Well done!
Dandy video. I think some of those tents can be rigged up by making an external stick frame rather then using the internal center pole. Might help make the inside lay out a bit more flexible. Either way warm and dry is key this year for sure.
Yeah, I've seen that done before. Maybe I'll give that a try some time. The center pole makes things quick and simple, but it definitely takes away some of the usable space inside. Thanks for watching!
Good thing the fire was not yet lit at the 8 1/2 minute mark! ........and those razor blade chimneys look pretty sharp. (I'm not a fan of them) Great video, hope 2022 is a great year for you and ur channel.
Definitely glad the stove wasn’t lit when that happened! I should have known better! Luckily, no damage was done! Thanks for watching and all the best to you! 👍🏻
Great video. Just found your channel and subscribed I love this stuff. You would probably like the pomoly stoves better they go together easy. I have your stove but always use my pomoly. Thanx for sharing
Thanks for subbing Clifford! I agree with you, the Pomoly stoves look much better. The only reason I went with the 3W stove was because it was quite a bit cheaper than the Pomoly ones that I looked at. You definitely get what you pay for though. If I had my time back I would have sucked it up and spent the extra money for the Pomoly. Thanks for watching! 👍
Quick question or observation when I looked at the stove on line and your set up with those legs , are you missing the base plate that goes on the bottom of the legs , seems there is one online ?
There is an option for a baseplate, but it’s sold separately for an additional cost! Looking back I probably should have ordered it along with the stove. It would definitely add some stability!
@@langdonoutdoors7859 Makes sense all the options cost a little more , I was thinking the plate underneath could be used as a oven to keep things warm as well
Really enjoyed the video.
Glad you enjoyed it, Gloria! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
A comment from Levi, "when you threw the snow, I laughed and laughed and laughed. I had to watch it 4 or 5 times". Great video !
Haha! Thanks Levi buddy! 👍
