Well this brought back memories. My grandad owned this car for a while before he sadly passed. Thought I’d never get to see it again but seeing it drive floods back memories of us in this amazing car that I will never forget.
Love it, she sounds epic, ear plugs on a long drive I suspect, always had a soft spot for Rodded 'Pops' having owned a 1956 V6 'Pop' for a couple of years back in the early-mid 80's, I met the current owner a few years ago, and she's still on the road, much changed than when I owned her, but still going strong, I was glad to see.
How does it happen that a car like this is up for sale? It seems odd that someone who has lavished so much attention to detail and cash on a this car would want to sell it.
it would fail an MOT on the noise, so you'd need an exhaust bypass going out the back, not a huge issue........ but is it louder than a Harley Davidson which is street legal, hard to tell
Good video’s but the presenter is so bleeding boring, just relax and stop trying to sound like you’re writing a magazine, that way you’ll be more engaging and likeable. Also good job you told us how a steering wheel works otherwise I’d of never worked that out.
Wait, you´re actually allowed to drive this thing on public roads in the UK?! What on earth do you have to do to make a car not road legal then?! 😅 In Germany you probably ONLY need to put a splitter like this on your front bumber and you loose registration, same goes for the cage, the steering wheel...i guess you get the point...🤦♂
@@steveanderson3942 But the title literally says it is?! "A Street Legal Hotrod Ready To Burst An Eardrum". Or are you saying they´re lying? No idea what rules the UK have ^^
Yep. We have a thing called an MOT, and so long as it passes that, you're fine. There's a bit more to it than that in terms of nuance and dependencies on age etc. but, yep, this can be street legal.

@@DaniKDora my thoughts exactly, one cool GP
My friend Paul Dale owns it now. Uses it on the street regularly!
Thank you for your time Mister

definition of a green machine!!
The phrase "Fish out if water" springs to mind.
I think "The Green Goblin" is a fantastic name for this car!
Great video and felt like I was in the car!
You know it seems that not a lot of modern drivers know that wing mirrors are to see behind you so it's even a public service announcement!
Yeah, when he said that, I nearly fell off my char laughing!!!
Or that the 'indicators' were called trafficators
Sensational 👍
Bit different than my grandad's Ford Pop!
Should have had a 454 Rat in it from the numberplate....
Love it! ❤
do you have to MOT it?
isn't 100DB legal limit on exhaust noise?
You mean “ghost flames”?
You must have some custom pop to hate the scoop
Anyone knows who painted it???

According to a previous comment somebody’s late grandpa used to own it so maybe that explains why
Tasty !

Lol, yes.

Drop the video on Chris M2
Soon...
Lovely car but that plonker getting everything wrong 🤣🤣
Must be the proprietor of St# Andrews Motors.
Got to teach the English how to pronounce Hoosier!
He is? He speaks English
Hey Lester would that be proper Queens English, or American English??
Hate the scoop on the hood.
The pronunciation of sooo many names were oh so hilariously butchered. Obviously he normally doesn't do anything with Drag cars.

The owner won’t get anything close to what he spent making the car. Yea
True that... horrid to build then sell at nothing near the build cost

@@BenRelle if it’s registered as historic, (which technically it shouldn’t be due to the modifications from standard) then it doesn’t need an MOT…..
sounds like he really knows what he's talking about...;/
Video at aimed 10 year olds…that will help the sale!
@@Clubman99he sounds like a douche.
