As someone who’s played Roblox since 2015, I understand why Old Roblox is considered better, as it was much more lighthearted than it is now. But it’s a breath of fresh air to finally see someone who doesn’t just say “Bring back Old Roblox!!!1” and instead also shows the consequences.
In my opinion either new or old they are equally loved by players since the current Roblox has UGC, New studio features, Simple avatar features, and layered clothing. Their are still down sides since adding more features can cause a lot of bugs/glitches in the app/website. Old roblox however has a good popularity since back then they used to be a feature where friends limit is not an option, Tix free currency, find new games when you refresh the page, and sky rocket popularity. y'know what? if you really think about it, people don't actually want old roblox gui, i mean for some people that's what they miss but that's cuz of nostalgia, what old roblox players really want is a good community. imagine current roblox, but with a 90% nice community. questionable roblox updates, but 60% less drama. that'd be nice. i remember meep city came out a few months after i joined. i was so excited to play it, i joined and everyone was having so much fun roleplaying with their meeps and checking it out. a couple of days ago i was looking through my old roblox screenshots and videos and found one where there was this one guy with a stitchface. it was kinda sad actually, no one said anything about it back then of course if we could have maybe the 2016 roblox gui AND a good community (i say 2016 because i personally think 2013 is a bit too much) that'd be a dream, but well of course it'd be a dream cuz that ain't happening unless you.. y'know.. dream
As someone who's been playing on the platform for over a decade, the simplicity and how relaxed/ chill people were back then was far greater than how you experience Roblox in today's day and age. I enjoyed Roblox back then although it's sad to see how far Roblox evolved but life goes on, nothing we can do.
Do not let nostalgia cloud your judgement. "Old Roblox" has its flaws too. The graphics were far worse, tix could be exploited, there was less customization, and less things over all.
All i would want is a feature that had a 2017 theme, and guests back, They were actually fun to play with, but because guest isnt an account, its unbannable, its easier to exploit. Maybe one day they will think about it. Maybe. One. Day.

i started playing roblox in 2016 (as a guest) and i made my first account in 2018 (i was too young on my old acc and i got scammed) and the ui was pretty chill there, it wasnt like the newer boring gray, just a casual old roblox logo with the old 2016 ui and i never actually try to ask, "why did roblox change the ui" when i realized they changed it to be so modern and unclassic, like they now show percentage of the like and dislike ratio instead of grey slabs, and there used to be a white box that came with the game's name, box, and like and dislike ratio.
i recken 2015 - 2016 roblox was the best like the plaza and work at pizza place and bake a cake they were all so fun, even know its probably never gonna change, i still miss old roblox 😪😪😪

The sad part, is, when you grind a lot for a good stuff, then you quit cuz you get bored, all your progress disappear cuz your in old Roblox and Old Roblox can't support the games to save the game's progress. (Just like Guest eh.)

I play RetroStudio and it is literally impossible to not find an NPC fan in there, the games get boring after 2 days, the number of games that do have players are very low, and basically it's just a way to put nostalgia aside and actually experience old Roblox. (It's pretty boring)

Everything is so modernized on Roblox that there would be no sense in bringing back old Roblox. The platform is mostly made up of children ages 5-14, do you think they want an older version? Would you want an old version of UA-cam? No, so that's where they drew the line.
Old Roblox is to be remembered forever, there's no bringing it back and life goes on, whether you like it or not, that's reality.

If yall want to experience old roblox i recommend Retrostudio it can mimic the ui from 2008-2015. And it has builders club but its own version
I play RetroStudio and it is literally impossible to not find an NPC fan in there, the games get boring after 2 days, the number of games that do have players are very low, and basically it's just a way to put nostalgia aside and actually experience old Roblox. (It's pretty boring)

The only simulator that could survive in old Roblox would be bee swarm simulator(that is what is think at least) also, simulators could adapt to old roblox(again that is what i think)
In my opinion either new or old they are equally loved by players since the current Roblox has UGC, New studio features, Simple avatar features, and layered clothing. Their are still down sides since adding more features can cause a lot of bugs/glitches in the app/website. Old roblox however has a good popularity since back then they used to be a feature where friends limit is not an option, Tix free currency, find new games when you refresh the page, and sky rocket popularity. Unpopular opinion: I started playing in late 2014, and it was good, but I'm surprised to see how much roblox had developed as a whole, while there has been alot of bad (egghunts stopped, builders club removed, tix (tbh I didn't mind tix leaving as much as the others but tix was really cool THEN THE OOF? and now the blogs being removed) which hit me really hard because it felt great being a part of Builders club and doing my favorite event for cool eggs and looking at the blogs every now and then to see the even older side of roblox which was 2013 and earlier to me and oof was a huge part of roblox and had significance to me and roblox , I like to look at the good side too, developed site, more items, community being able to make items, collaboration events (well just some of them) and mostly the cool studio feature (motion capture)

Haha, that was actually a dream of mine before realizing it would crash the economy. I'm not sure if roblox will bring 2013/14 era back, then this timeline would be what would happen. and i am also not sure if R15 is compatible with old roblox, and the 2013/14 leaderboard/backpack by itself is very complicated to hide, lol. and i'm not sure if tix would be a visual bug or an actual feature, though it will crash roblox economy if it was. Basically this in itself is an accurate explanation on if roblox will bring back old era.
