An update that I dislike is that Roblox started calling normal clothing “classic.” Edit: For those who don’t understand, I mean that layered clothing should be labeled as Layered and classic clothing should just be called shirts, pants, etc.
We are currently living this... it's honestly sad, specially for people like me who make roleplays with custom morphs that ONLY work on r6 and have no idea how the code works because we just got a morph pad template and used it- such a shame :/
R6 has been since the start of Roblox, and even during the beta stages as early as 2004, so removing it would basically show that the remains of OG Roblox are slowly fading

Another problem aside from the obvious problems with removing R6 is CLOTHING. A lot of clothing breaks at least somewhat with R15, especially with mine, so removing R6 is like my nightmare. The thing with R6 is that its flat, the clothing wraps around easily, no problemo. Like a decal. R15 is jointed and complicated, and because they still are using support for the wrapping clothing, they have to reuse what they have already with the clothing which is bad if you aren't using the old school animation package (especially with pants that have shoes). The shoes will show up on the insides of joints and stuff. I don't wanna have to redo all my clothing simply because of yet ANOTHER good roblox feature being removed.
And if R6 is removed, I'm not budging from my Old School animation package. R15 also makes you look fat, the joints clip a lot and there are ugly edges. As a default cube body user this really pisses me off.
This update is the most likely to happen. Different, yes, but it will probably happen. We can just hope if some developers might add a custom R6 animation (made by themselves) to their games...

If Roblox removes R6, we can definitely say that everything that used to describe Roblox is gone. R6 has literally been existing since the beginning of the platform, it's one of the things that everybody knows, that is significant to the platform's history. Removing R6 would be such a stupid move tbh. I use R6 myself, I really do not mind R15 on the platform, it's just that I'd rather use R6 cause I like it better. It just has that more classic feeling.

1:32 as a mainly parkour player, people will most likely join parkour and get it to atleast 59k since it has its own r6 movement. and if not hudzell will work on bringing the movement back. still a great video, if I didn’t play parkour on roblox I would have quit when they announced removing r6.
Let’s be real. If and probably when roblox removes R6, people will forget about it within a month or two. Of course it’s a part of roblox history, but the fact that most games use r15 already combined with the fact that most newer players are farmiliar with r15 means it’s really not a huge deal from the bigger image.
You forgot about the countless obby games, animations that will break, and games that rely on R6 that don't support R15 that will break. There are many many tools that also only work with R6.

I think roblox is trying to make the games more realistic by pushing Rthro, cuz r6 doesnt look realistic. Most of the obbies were made when neither Rthro and R15 were a thing. R6 is buggy sometimes (simply because they put less effort, R6 is obviously less complex) and it has made parkour, tricks and bugs, all attached to movement, to appear. Obbies actively use those things. Without R6, obby is just about knowing two things about R15 parkour and good sense of timing.

As a person who has been playing obbies for 3 years I got to admit that without r6 roblox would be extremely different. R6 is the OG body type in the game and I would delete my main account and my alt accounts because the majority of them are on r6 and I would probably never change them to r15. R6 has been around for nearly 20 years and many people would probably quit because roblox has removed and added too many stuff. I miss the "Oof" sound it's just a classic. They had fo replace it for the " Uhh" sound and they are adding voice chat. With voice chat it's probably going to give moderators a bit of a challenge. Why won't roblox just give people real warnings and account bans when this happens? My friend used to laugh because she said my avatar looked like it was forever stuck in 2017 and I'd rather my avatar be stuck in 2017 than be stuck in the 'longest unskippable ad' known as 2024. I just want the older versions of roblox back..

I don't understand why deleting r6 would make people not play obbys??? That doesn't make any sense
Most of the obbies were made when neither Rthro and R15 were a thing. R6 is buggy sometimes (simply because they put less effort, R6 is obviously less complex) and it has made parkour, tricks and bugs, all attached to movement, to appear. Obbies actively use those things. Without R6, obby is just about knowing two things about R15 parkour and good sense of timing.
if roblox actually do this, we're gonna have to make a way to fight back, but for some reason we always fight and fight and nothing works, i'm tired of letting roblox just do whatever they want to their game, if they wanna ruin our lives, we're ruining their game, we're gonna have to make millions of people join adopt me and make it crash so roblox is gonna lose even more money and they can't do anything about it
bruh chill theyre removing a body type, if theyre planning on removing it in oct-dec then most likely itll be back in janurary because roblox is a billion dollar cashgrab company and if they notice theyre losing half of their fanbase theyre gonna bring it back immediately

As a person who has been playing obbies for 3 years I got to admit that without r6 roblox would be extremely different. R6 is the OG body type in the game and I would delete my main account and my alt accounts because the majority of them are on r6 and I would probably never change them to r15. R6 has been around for nearly 20 years and many people would probably quit because roblox has removed and added too many stuff. I miss the "Oof" sound it's just a classic. They had fo replace it for the " Uhh" sound and they are adding voice chat. With voice chat it's probably going to give moderators a bit of a challenge. People can basically say anything and roblox would just give them a warning saying " Our moderators have dected you saying inappropriate language and if you continue you could no longer have your voice chat." Why won't roblox just give people real warnings and account bans when this happens? My friend used to laugh because she said my avatar looked like it was forever stuck in 2017 and I'd rather my avatar be stuck in 2017 than be stuck in the 'longest unskippable ad' known as 2024. I just want the older versions of roblox back..
