  • Goals from Havertz, Martinelli and Saka saw Arsenal come back from behind to beat Southampton. Sterling and Merino make their Premier League debuts and Arsenal fans are starting to turn on Jesus. Fair?

The host of this podcast is pretty good . Positive and professional. Sounds like a top radio jockey unlike most of the youtube jokers

Although the last two home games have been frustrating, City have also gone behind early in their last two home games. These things happen. How useful would Merino have been away at City? And re: Jesus, do we give him the next penalty if he’s on the pitch? If the plan is to sell, he still needs to find form to command a good fee.

True, and City look like they’re stuttering.

Agree with James Baths are important no wonder the Romans had them. Also in Japan you have onsen resorts it’s really amazing experience.

I LOVE Gabi Jesus, always have. He just doesn't fit in our game plan anymore and I don't see him changing for the team in the near future. It's just the same as with Ramsdale, they were good for us but now we are targeting above City, and Jesus isn't that.
But we have to support him no matter what !

I think we’ve moved past him now.

The changes was never made until after Kai scored.
So he was basically playing in the 'midfield' when he scored.

Agree with Vvlad, how Saka stepped up in the absence of Martin
I don't like the "best in the world" pointless discussion, but saying he is not world class, what are people smoking ? Genuine question. Is it because of his International output ?

What i was trying to say is that ""We must smash these so called weaker teams at home"" - also if we are to win the PL then we must win all our home games

The overreaction to this game from some fans is surprising to me.. 🤷🏻 My problem is Teta gave too much respect to Soton by playing 3 CBs and 3 DMs which is understandable considering the previous meeting.. Even still it seemed like a normal game that we won deservedly if not convincingly. History books only remember the win not whether we smashed a team that was trying to stay up.

Facts. Only need 2CBs against opposition of that calibre, even 1 DM is questionable. That said, Partey was the only option for RB. Nwaneri would’ve provided that spark instead of starting Jorginho.
