It has to be Ødegaard for Arsenal, has to. Saliba has changed the defense, made it impenetrable while Ødegaard has changed the entire team. The attitude, the work rate, the vibe and the whole class of the team is made better because of Martin. He is also Mikel's right hand man on the pitch, he bases so much of the tactics on Ødegaard doing what he does. Just see how, after just a couple of matches without the captain in the starting 11 they have suddenly turned in to "Mourinho park the bus" according to so called experts and rival fans.
From a Chelsea fan, I think Arteta was the best signing. He changed Arsenal. Its kind of like Sir Alex, give him anyone- he will make a decent team. The way he axed Aubameyang, the way he changed the loser culture. Yes Odegaard, Saliba are good, but Arteta has MADE them good.
As a Liverpool fan, macalister. Jota is inconsistent af, his link up play is really mid. His finishing is one of the best in the league but his dribbling and playmaking have been so frustrating to watch at times. Macalister has been Mr consistent for us, he’s never had anything below a 7/10 imo since joining and has been the staple in our midfield
To answer your question we were going to title it around the best signing of the last 5 seasons (since 20/21)... but thought decade sounded cooler! (Dougie)
Arsenal fan here .. i can say that saliba is the best signing we made cuz when you look at the transformation we've had it all Started when saliba stepped foot in that first eleven.
Chelsea its easily Thiago Silva..one of the all time greats came to the best league in the world at an old age and completely bossed it. Helped win Chelsea their 2nd UCL more than arsenal btw with 0 and he is amongst the all time prem greats
He was waffling about jota not being a main guy. He has been phenomenal in crucial stretches of seasons being clinical and powerful. Definitely Jota over Maccalister so far.
Best signings in last 5 years: Liverpool: Alexis mac Allister Man City: Erling Haaland Arsenal: Martin Odegaard Spurs: Guglielmo Vicario Man Utd: literally no one 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Chelsea: Cole Palmer
I would say Jota was lfc main striker last year if it weren't for injuries. They could have challenge for the title all the way if he was fit at the start and towards the end of the season.
Jota replaced Firmino and Firmino became a squad player because of that? I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because he's a United fan tho but yeah he's wrong with that. Jota was always a starter until he started getting injuries
Haven’t watched the vid yet but Thiago was there at the clubs worst spell in recent history and yet kept everything together on and off the pitch, was genuinely one of the best cbs in the world with us, if anything was better than he even was. Captained us to another champions league.
Gabriel right now Is just as good/important as Saliba is, since the beginning of this season he has been a massive figure. They are the best defending center backs in the world I wouldnt swap any of them no matter who it was
best signing is Van de Ven you can literally count the goals he has prevented for Spurs by watching the games, any other player you have to add fantasy to say "what if he wasn't there", but with VDV is't *physically* visible that without him that's 15th place instead of 5th,stay true to your mathematical, digital new world and put him up there.
Just to let you in on a secret... because I see these comments on every UA-cam video. There is a lag on UA-cam for the first 12 or so hours of publishing... so it doesn't show the correct view count until then! Just a heads up! (Dougie)
So so so wrong. Odegaard is the one who started our culture shift from lazy forwards to pressing machines. He is the most important player in Arteta's system and philosophy, irreplacable!
This «decade» means 2020-2030.
Saliba was signed to Arsenal as a 17 year old in 2017.
I get your point but he was signed in 2019
It’s not even half way through this decade 😂
Saliba was signed in 2019 yes, immediately loaned back out to Saint Etienne, then to Nice, then to Marseille.
@@darraghoconnor9072 which also makes him not count cause they didn't count rodri as well.
@@FCRaiders21 yeah but he was bought and loaned back to nice or Lille or wherever straight away
Finally a god tier Prime Sunday Vibes line up, Lyes is a young Pat regen 🔥
Saliba has been immense but technically he signed before this decade. So odegaard would have to be my pick.
There are 20 teams in this league btw
So it’s just the big six teams??? 😂😂
No. They included Tottenham towards the end.
Yup. No one wants to hear about Stoke or West Bromwich Albion 😂
@@omarfaruque98xy they're not in the prem. But there is 14 other teams

I was begging god that Liverpool signed Mickey Van de Ven. What a player

Crazy that Man United's best signing this decade has been Jadon Sancho and thats cos of his performances away from United on loans.
That guy in the middle looks like a mix of Harry Potter and Tobey Maguire

Whats the point of this? This decade has 6 years to come..dont get it
😂

@@skysportspremierleagueWell decade sounds cooler
Videos are made around titles and thumbnails more than actual video ideas dk why this has rustled ur feathers so much
Tough for United but I think Hojlund had a decent first season and will push on to the next level this season.

I can pick at lest 5 players who made a bigger impact for Arsenal in the last decade
Saliba was bought in 2019 though, not in 2020
@@AOK342name the 5 please
Ah. Should’ve made this about the last 10 years
Chelsea its easily Thiago Silva..one of the all time greats came to the best league in the world at an old age and completely bossed it. Helped win Chelsea their 2nd UCL more than arsenal btw with 0 and he is amongst the all time prem greats
Mikey made a strong case!

Kante is up there ngl
For me it is Malaang Sarr. That extra-time substitution performance in the Club World Cup final and delivering the CWC medal for Chelsea.
Its Brennan Johnson for me. That kid is going to continue scoring. What a talent.
He’s boss to watch top lad👍
People always forget the 20m add ons for McAlister. Still a good buy for 55m.
Odegaard
He was waffling about jota not being a main guy. He has been phenomenal in crucial stretches of seasons being clinical and powerful. Definitely Jota over Maccalister so far.

Saliba actually signed in 2019
Good spot! We made an exception for him as he didn't play his first game until 2022

Hopefully palmer keeps this form 🙏
Love Thiago silva so much but there’s no debate, it’s Cole palmer
It's a tight call for me... think Mikey argued Thiago well!

What about Eriksen for man utd?
Same clubs time and time again never spoken about Brighton
“Premier leagues top six” and includes man United, what a joke 🤣🤣
“Picking your clubs”
Proceed to then talk about the big 6 that wanted to go join there own “super league”
Theres 14 other teams🙃
Saliba was signed in 2019 so he’s not eligible

You didn’t do every club
The sly six
