The VA of the Chinese team owner is also the voice of Uncle from Jackie Chan Adventures and Monk Gyatso from Avatar: The Last Airbender; making 2 actors from ATLA to appear in this episode
“Next kicker is Lily Chang, 73-year-old retired farm worker with diabetes. Folks, she's experiencing complete kidney failure. Hasn't peed in three years.” 😂🤣 I love this episode
And it's just extremely dark funny humor because it's actually accurate! Example idk if you know the whole Iran/contra war history? But Reagan had the CIA fund it through drug trafficking! The whole crack epidemic of the 80's was started and allowed not just by government on a local level but it went to the highest point the president himself to fund an illegal war and this is all proven acknowledged facts atp not speculation. But the show Snowfall which is based on the story and the character is bssed on Freeway Ricky Ross who's connection supplying him was a CIA officer, it shows the story from their pov, the film Kill The Messenger with Jeremy Renner shows the journalist Gary Webb as he investigates and uncover the conspiracy. Ofc he isn't believed much because no one especially during the time would believe our government would commit any crime let alon the PRESIDENT would be responsible for the drug epidemic. Anyway ofc he had big brother on his ass mysterious people following him and outside his house all that jazz, but oddly enough he dies at the young age of 49... by suicide.... shooting himself... TWICE!... in the HEAD! Smh
It's my favorite too. I even freaked out for a second at 5:34 because I thought Cindy being there meant that episode already happened and I thought I missed it.
9:18 You can write a whole book about Sarah and Jazmine's reaction to watching Tom play. From hoping that didn't die to cheering when he got a kick to their horrified expressions when got hit.
Anytime someone wants to be introduced to the boondocks, I show them this episode. It’s the ONLY story that I think can bring a version of this show back.
Easily one of my favorite Boondocks episodes, as far as I'm concerned the potential inspirations for this episode are the "Baseball Blues" episode of "Samurai Champloo" & the "Dodgeball" match in the Greed Island arc of "Hunter X Hunter"
12:20 this is a reference to the movie Blazing Saddles by Mel Brooks. Spoofing Westerns and racism in America. A very funny movie that doesn't take it self seriously.

What did you guys think of this episode?
This is my favorite episode ever love the channel

Ones who live??
It's grown on me.Everything wth Huey and Wuncler was awesome. He blackmailed him.
For starters you put the wrong episode in the title
Huey replying in Mandarin will forever be epic
📠 was a “oh y’all done f**ked up now” moment 💯
Facts then proceeds to beat the fuck outta them!
Chills!

The animation studio did work on boondocks and ATLA
Anime be anime
Their voice acting casting director is also the same
@@RedemptiveChiefAndrea Romano. Greatest casting director of all time

Hearing “Zuko” say he hates Chinese is honestly hilarious.
I just imagine Zuko saying that about the Earth Nation (who are based on the Chinese)
Especially when his voice actor is Filipino. He was the Cree Summer of young Asian men
@@DDarkestKnighthell of a comparison, i like it lol
My favorite Huey episode. Tied with Riley's Fundraiser for my favorite episode. Season 3 of the Boondocks goes so hard!
5:41 "Why does he sound like Zuko?" BECAUSE IT IS!!! DANTE BASCO FTW!!!
You can literally look up Zuko says I hate Chinese on UA-cam and someone edited zuko saying that shit Lmao
Ruckus speaks Chinese got me dead 😂💀
I wish we had seen more of the Asian extras in the show: Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, I don't care, just to see Ruckus talk shit to their face. 😂
@@MrJamaigartrue. its funny af.
You knew shit was about to go down when Huey started Airbending
i love that uncle rukus has his own theme every time he appears 😂.
just to let you know some bullshit bout to go down
"ONE MORE THING!" Mr. Long-Dou is played by Sab Shimono(Uncle Chan from "Jackie Chan Adventures" and Monk Gyatso from "Avatar: The Last Airbender).
Wow, i didnt know that and that was a seriously underrated show. Uncle! Lol
“Next kicker is Lily Chang, 73-year-old retired farm worker with diabetes. Folks, she's experiencing complete kidney failure. Hasn't peed in three years.” 😂🤣 I love this episode
You can just tell the creator of the boondocks was a big anime fan 💯💯
I mean boondocks is made by the same animation studio that made the last airbender.
Aaron mcgruder
The intro is inspired by Samurai Champloo as is this episode. “Baseball Blues” I believe
It's giving Samurai Champloo when they played baseball
Facts❤
There's a lesson here like every episode, but it is buried under one of the most unhinged and funniest A plots ever.
YES! One of my all time favorite episodes of the Boondocks!
“We just got word that the ref strangled himself, jumped off a bridge then overdosed on amphetamines”😂
Send him my regards to his family.

Kickball: A True Boondocks Story!!!!🤣
"The Fundraiser" is episode 7. Title mix up
Candy. The REAL best episode.
That's my favorite episode.
Yesssss
All of them are title mixups. Almost all of season 1 2 and 3 are boondocks peak
This always reminded me of that baseball episode from Samurai Champloo
It's essentially the said plot, only flipped over.
Glad I’m not the only one who noticed lol
It's those one off episodes that are the most heat
Shaolin soccer
Because it is lmfao. It’s just with kickball
The voice of Ed Wuncler is also Johnny Lawrence’s step dad from Cobra Kai -Sid Weinberg
and thats it, we are officially 4 weeks away from my favorite episode of all time
This, and the fundraiser, are my favorite episodes from season 3. We finally got here 😂😂
It's my favorite too.

Man this entire season is my favorite lol so many great episodes & the visuals + jokes go hand & hand 😮💨
This is my favourite episode. I can barely breathe from laughing.
Voice director of Boondocks has also done famous shows like Batman the Animated Series and Avatar The Last Airbender
Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Teen Titans, Static Shock, Korra, TMNT 2012. Anytime a show needed S-tier voice acting she's the one they called.
Andrea romano is her name i think. Shes damn near the goat of voice directing and casting
Wow, that person is VERY good at their job.
@@fissilewhistle She's the greatest that ever did it. Hope she's enjoying retirement.
10:24 truer words haven't been spoken in this show
Oh shit, this was hilarious. Again I’ve never seen the gang laugh so hard😂😂
The ATLA animators animated this one.
That boy huey something vicious
The episode still holds up being one of the most funniest episodes ever on boondocks
The Boondocks impression at the end lol.

I dead ass would watch a whole show with these characters and kickball 😂
That's definitely Zuko's voice actor because it's the same animators as the Avatar.🤔
12:02 I was waiting so long for them to see that shit lmaoooo
I'm pretty sure that this episode was hugely inspired by the baseball episode of Samurai Champloo.
You will have to change the title because this is not the fundraiser episode. That is the best episode of the series 🤣.
Nah I prefer this one. The Fund-Raiser is a close second though. 💀😭
this and S3 EP5 are hands down the best episodes of The Boondocks
This is my favorite episode! Glad y'all enjoyed it. 😄
Shoalin soccer is so good, I love it
had me confused with The Fundraiser in the title cause thats actually the best episode to me
Even more proof it’s anime, even the old people still kick ass.
You've never seen an old person kick ass in a western cartoon, have you never heard of the Proud Family? Suga Mama?

Season 3 got so many top tier episodes, can’t wait til they finally upload their Hateocracy reaction

I think the video was mistakenly named bc this episode is not the fundraiser episode but is still one of the best episodes though
Dangggg if they dropped Red Ball and Fundraiser in the same day on YT I’d pass out then join the Patreon when I woke up.
The animation for the kicks was top tier. Season 3 was my favorite. There are more hilarious moments to come.
