One of the many things I love about Flossy is that even though he buys everything himself he still tells us the viewers the truth. Truth about upgrading/updates and where to save money. Always looking out for us making sure we don't get ripped off. Flossy said it himself, you deserve to buy yourself nice things, but you still gotta be smart about it. Mine is the S8 Ultra from last year, but it's basically the same, like you said. I just love it and hardly ever boot up my PC. So much better than my iPad Pro 12.9 inch. I'm a Samsung knight for sure.
Apple is vastly superior technologically when it comes to iphone , ipad and MacBook and they don't compete with samsung...😅 have u heard the news of their monopoly.. their a12x chipset from 5 years ago is faster gpu wise compared to the Gen 2 .. the m2 chip is 10 years ahead of the snapdragon 8 Gen 2... there reason why most people buy ipad and iphone is due to great optimization and it always works unlike samsung.. with apple everything binds together harmonically.. samsung can have the best specs but will still lag behind apple... yt professional all use iphone and ipad ....
@mohammadghasemi3545 Apple is better for non technical consumers. It's appropriately dumbed down to make it easy to use for the masses. But it's also locked down to the point that high tech users get frustrated by all the things you can't do.
For the screen protector that has privacy features...I believe you need to turn on increased Touch Sensitivity in the display settings. Its for usage with gloves and protectors, etc.

Just got mine today. And as said this is some tablet. I'm loving it. Your reviews are amazing. I have had ipad pro before, and with a s23 ultra it makes sense, they can work together.
There's more differences between the 8 and 9 Ultra than people think. If you do a Quick Share side by side, the 9 is crazy faster. Quick share a 4k file and it'll download 3-4x faster on the 9.
And what are they? As I don't use quick share. Never have never will.

yeah its true I use both the S8 Ultra and S9 Ultra (crazy good deals from Samsung on both). I noticed the speed bump right out of the box. I use it for a Dex two sceen set up so it's literally always multitasking 4 apps. Not one lag or stutter. I got the 500 GB version because they weren't offering as good a deal on the 1 TB but honestly it's not worth the extra $600 I would have paid.

I'm sure someone has already mentioned it b/c it's been a few months but if you have the privacy screen on (or another screen protector), you can go into Display Settings and turn on "touch sensitivity" to make it work better with touches and swipes

I got the giga-monster 1tb storage, 16gb ram version myself, and the battery is unreal. The battery wasn't even phased after 3 hours of HD youtube content.
I really need to find some good video editing apps, some photo editing, and maybe some decent games to play on it. It's such a powerful machine with apps that don't seem to utilize all that processing power.
@@vidpic8311 you just have to decide between Android and IOS based on apps you use. If you need it for media consumption, ultra is the way to go.

You may have already found this out by now, but in case you haven't:
In your review of the Tab S9 Ultra, you wished that it had an always on display. Though not quite an AOD, I noticed that a clock icon appears in the bottom left corner of the screen when my Ultra is plugged in. When I tapped on it, I was taken to a clock, the weather, and other useful screens. I also found that this can be adjusted in settings under Display then Screensaver. Enjoy! Love your videos man, such honesty and humility. I have the Samsung Tab S9 plus (which I'm using to write this), also the Tab S8 Ultra and standard S8. I think there are some rear camera differences between the S8 and S9 ultra meaning that the keyboard cases aren't fully compatable. I'm still waiting for a good deal on a keyboard for my S8 Ultra.

Excellent review. Just bought the 512gb wifi version. It is insanely powerful. Lumafusion runs very well on it. Mainly using to edit drone videos and photos. First tablet upgrade in nearly 5 years.

I'm still rocking my tab s7 plus and it still runs flawlessly the battery life is still amazing after all these yrs I still use it for gaming media and use Dex for work it's absolutely the best line of tablets ever made in my opinion I have an iPad pro and it's got dust on it 😂 it just can't do half the stuff my Samsung can oh and no expandable storage on the ipad which is a major issue for me
Same although I broke the screen a few months ago. Still works fine and doesn't bother me too much. Not worth trading in considering Sammy's bad tablet trade in deals. $200 for an s7+ 😂

Was expecting a review of the regular Tab S9, since the Ultra is basically unchanged, as is the Plus. The base Tab S9 is by far the most interesting model this year. Finally after years a high end portable tablet with top specs and an OLED screen. That's where it's at as far as I'm concerned.
That's the one people will actually buy.... A $1,200 Android tablet with a $300 keyboard is more of a halo product. It'll get all the reviews but practical people will get the 11-in model mostly. I do wish they had 512 GB
, they had that with the tab S7 And the last two years when I go to trade in you didn't have that option. So I just hung onto my old one. But at least you got the SD card so that's a pretty nice consolation prize😊
Sound is better on Tab S9 plus compared to Tab S8 plus. After you notice the difference it's impossible to ignore.
Exactly basic Tab S9 looks very good and with current promos its even better.

These days ultrabooks are so thin and light, that I rarely see a reason to go for Android Tablet.
I have gaming pic for heavy work. I need just the screen of ultrabook . So tab 9 fits perfectly. Like a HD TV in my hands with Android support.
I just got my tab s9 ultra and In my opinion it's the king of all tablets and the king of all mobile devices. It's a great combination with my s23 ultra and my galaxy book 3 pro 360.

I watch your vids Floss because your true to da game, im saying this because to all the floss subscibers man enjoy life and what it gives you,... earlier this week i had a hell of a scare on my lunch break and thought i was having a heart attack and had to go to the er after my heart rate went over 170, come to find out i was dehydrated and took some medicine on an empty stomach while working in the heat in Mississippi over 100, long story short what actually had me to calm down and relax was watching a few UA-cam videos mainly reviews from floss and iv from the emergency room, i say this i know floss has been in that field and i salute you and the people that work in that field because they kept me in tact and talking and trying to make me calm and laugh and not think about my possible situation i could have been in leaving my 3 girls and wife behind...🙏🙏🙏 much love Floss!!

Flossy!! Right on time. So I have the M2 ipad pro 12.9" and it is fantastic. However, I've been obsessed with videos about the S9 ultra so I picked it up yesterday from Samsung. It's just something about this screen. Buttery smooth, ultra modern - I'm loving this tablet. This is my first android tablet and I'm impressed.

I've had my Tab S8 Ultra since a little after it came out. I've had the Samsung $350 keyboard and back and no issues. Naturally you'll treat this like a premium product and not try to destroy it. I tote it to and from school daily though
Coming from the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) excited to try the 9+. A huge upgrade for me.
Nice video Floss. I think you need to adjust the touch sensitivity in settings if you haven't already. If you did and it still isn't working correctly, Samsung needs to fix it.
Other than always on display, I'd also like a headphone jack with my tablet. Sometimes the bluetooth headset runs out of battery, but I still need it to watch my family show with the privacy screen... Also, S Pen should be able to fit inside the tablet. Other than that, this is a beast.
I agree about the built in S pen. Make the tablet thicker, give it a comparable cooling system to the s23u, double the battery size. Especially for the Ultra tab, the cooling would give it a performance edge.
There's USB C earbuds you can find if you don't wanna deal with a dongle

I enjoyed another video Flossy. Question: if using the tablet as a monitor with a laptop, can each device have different things on the screen for multitasking. Example can the laptop display a word document while the tablet display has Instagram?
Yes you can extend the display instead of mirroring if you want

I got the S7+ 5G and will probably upgrade to S9+. Ultra is just too big for my usage, but for me the huge benefit with S9 series is the higher brightness of the screen and the new CPU. Another bonus is the extra 4GB ram for us multitaskers.
I've got both of them sitting next to me and will do a comparison for myself, comment back if you want me to test a particular UA-cam video and reply with my thoughts on how it looks on the two devices.
I don't think they've actually improved the screen and the updates may be solely software based unfortunately.

@@MIGGIE611I don’t think TMobile is getting the 5G version. They didn’t with the tab 8 Ultra. So I’m assuming they (T-Mobile or Samsung) aren’t going to give us the 5G option in the USA.

It's basically the S8 on steroids, but I actually got one (S9 regular ) because they finally gave the smallest version AMOLED display, something I I found baffling with Samsung that they didn't do for the S7 or 8
they wanted people to get the bigger and more expensive stuff
my 2018 tab s3 has amoled and it still looks good today; was waiting for the smaller tabs to get it and once the s9 did it was an immediate cop lol
Yeap i bought the tab s7+ cause i wanted the better screen but i would have preffered the smaller one for what i normally use it

I upgraded from the 7+ to the 9+ and not much of a huge difference but I noticed the battery life is better for sure between the 2. I just got the 256GB. I want the ultra but won't get the ultra until they add 5g to it
I am also on the 7+ is there a noticable difference in the display between the two, if so is it worth upgrading? Any issues you come across with the device?
@djmervizzzy They are the exact same in my opinion, not really worth upgrading. I gave my 3 year old my 7+ was the main reason for my upgrade so he can have his own tablet for learning & cartoon videos. You really won't know the difference at all between the two devices to be perfextly honest. I would wait until the 10+ or even the 10 ultra which I kinda hope for next yesr that they make the ultra series a 5G unit as well.

I upgraded from the 8 ultra to the 9 ultra simply because of the ip68 rating.i cook a lot and use my tablet to watch videos and have the recipe on hand. I'm always nervous that imma accidentally spill on my tablet. So honestly when I saw the ip68 I was like I'm definitely upgrading. It also allowed me to upgrade the storage and the ram as I got the 500gb and 12 ram last time.
Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is a great-great tablet. The reason I traded in my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is because I wanted to update to 1 terabyte. I opted for the beige color this time.
I'm considering getting this one. I have a few Samsung tablets nothing really up to date so this might be my next one. Respect big breda.

Bruh a large OLED 120hz screen, extremely thin body wirh thin bezels, and IP68.. hardware wise this is king. If only android matched ipadOS in terms of app optimization. Regardless i do think most of the apps i'd actually care about are supported. IG works better on Galaxy Tabs than iPad, even if its a workaround. Credit where credit is due
Almost ordered the Ultra...but the S9 instead...$399 after trade in, S9+ was $599 and Ultra was $799...couldn't resist the $399! Had the Ultra in my cart but switched last second! By the way, still loving the Sero...people still trip when it turns. Lol!

The display isn't same on s9 ultra. It has upgraded version compared to s8 ultra.The s9 ultra has Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz, HDR10+ with vision booster, while s8 ultra has Super AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+
