I really didn’t have a problem with Rocky early in his gimmick to be honest with you
it had to be around 1997, I went on a WWF Cruise around Manhattan (featuring Goldust, Marlena, Cactus Jack maybe one or two more)
I was with my first wife, knew of some of the names and asked me "Who Is That Guy sitting there?"
I answered "Oh Jeeeze, it's Rocky Maivia, he isn't so popular, let's go find Goldust/Marlena"
it wasn't so too far later Rocky Maivia grew to be The Rock (yeah, I am still kicking myself for not going to greet myself on that Cruise) lol
kevin talked alot of shhh about the rock. but now the rock is his boss; so nothing he says now about him matters

@@tanrock1054The whole speaking in third person thing. He even copied the way Steve held the belt. He obviously took inspiration from others, as most wrestlers do.
