- Chicken eggs take 21 days to hatch, and quail eggs take 17 days to hatch so it's important to know the exact day you put them in the incubator. I maintain the temp. 37.6 C and humidity 60 % and increase it to 65% at hatching time for fully emerge from its shell.
If some of the chicks haven't concluded their hatching after twelve hours, go ahead and remove the tops of those eggs.

Well, though watched several videos inline with quail incubators and found this to be the simplest one with more capacity of eggs seen loaded besides it's simple technic using bucket of water for humidity as well as temperature is indeed an excellent innovative.

Go to your local scrapyard and salvage an old windscreen wiper motor.or window winder motor. They are geared and will do the job just as well!

A thermostat must be installed in order to turn the lamps off and on automatically , at the same time, maintaining its temperature to 37.7 celcius. While there are thermostats can be set to that temperature and does not turn off but rather lowers the illumination of the lamp. Thus, maintaining to the desired temperature.
