Help me understand something bro. The machine room and the main chamber did you leave a gap between? If not how does heat transfer from the machine room to the main side
There is a gab between the HEATER and HUMIDITY ROOMS connecting to the main "Chamber" is you look carefully at my drawings when building the cabinet, you should see the gab

Just finished my first incubator. I appreciate all iamWill has done and his feedback. Today I'll start to build a second one. From the experience of the first one, I have a humble suggestion that we are going to try: Use rectangular iron instead of angle iron for the vertical posts. Welding, in theory, should be much easier.

Very well made video! I made my own incubator with very similar results. Just an FYI for others interested in using the XM-18 controller, I do not believe there is a function to turn off the turner. I had to hook a switch to the turner to turn it off during lockdown. I believe you also have a switch hooked up to your turner. Great job again!

Yes the XM-18 doesn't have a switch for the egg turner. So you need to loop it to a switch and turn it off manually on day 18. Thanks for pointing it out. I will add it to my explainer video

How does the fan blow air to the eggs
you could probably run a fill tube to that tub in the bottom. so you can refill it without having to open the door
that was the initial idea. but the Bowl was big enough to finish the hatching. we just did it for demonstration purpose. But you're absolutely right
so if 1 hatched on day 19, and the rest hatched the next 3-5 days, are you leaving the hatched ones in there 1-6 days without food and water , walking around in the tray?
I've looked at a lot of videos this is the best one by far on incubators. Greg attention to detail. I won't let people know about this one take care.

I bought the controller board off Amazon UK. But the construction was done in Ghana, so I bought most of the parts there

that all depends on the egg tray size. I can't really remember mine and I don't have the sketch with me. but the simple rule is to leave space the size of your egg tray
