Best car show ever. Because of your programme I've just bought a 1988 Lotus Esprit that might otherwise have ended up on the scrap yard. Nothing works but what a car :) Keep safe!
A true engine professor! Love listening to the way Fuzz describes things. I did this kind of work on my T4 which was greatly helped by the series featuring the red transporter camper.
This is very pleasant to listen to you because you speak very clear, and I mostly can follow what you describe when working on your engine. France Normandy
If i remember correctly, the liners should protrude above the block face a few thou so when the head is tightened down it all sits flush and seals the liners.
I managed to do a top end rebuild getting the head off in situ after the belt skipped and bent some valves, fortunately no piston damage, but those sodium filled valves were expensive!!
Looks more like somebody hasn't been changing the coolant as required and/or used rad weld both of which would result in gunk forming in the water jacket (block and head).
I know it’s a tv show, but try to move waterpump before risking interference with valves due to camshaft not turning due to belt snipped! Unless you checked that earlier…. Tv after all…
Super first class education channel ! Learn so much from you thanks you

You are the best... Best Regards from Macedonia 🇲🇰🇲🇰
And we need the rest of the rebuild....
A video of the full strip and rebuild would be an episode of car sos in itself

Now this a car show . Make it at least 1hr long
Engine oil at night always smells better than napalm in the morning I guess LOL
I would pay for content like this
Ahhh Fuzz, the good part of the show.

Now THAT is proper shedworx .... Holy crap, and he's just dead pan .... Amazing .... How do I support and invest ??
At last,,,,,,,,,,,,More than 4 mins ......Just what we need, More detail to overhauls....
Tim is a businessman really.
Hello fuzz from France Normandy
Steel liners? Are you sure - or are they cast iron?
No Tim...bliss

Different belt
How much can car sos charge me to restore mazda rustler 1987. I'm oscar
To be honest a crap undeveloped engine!. Remember them being a nightmare in the Jensen Healey!
More of this please and less of the awfully dim Tim. I stopped watching WD when brewer forced Edd out and Car SOS needs more of Fuzz's work not Tim.
Fact Check. Mike did not force Ed out. Stop spreading nasty rumours.
