Welcome back to the good o’l US of A. I moved to the Philippines from Texas 4 years ago with my dual citizen (USA & PI) wife and son. This summer, were taking our very first trip outside of the PI since 2019. Also, arriving in Las Vegas to spend 1 month with family. So looking forward to eating American chain restaurants and shopping at Walmart and Old Navy again. Lol. Enjoy your vacay.

Expensive! Haha. Check out Google flights. With 3 different layovers it was the cheapest tickets available.

Lora, you don't need to compare Philippines vs. Japan, but one thing I can tell you how generous and hospitality is the Filipino people? Phils. is not rich as Japan, but when it comes to caring and industrious and etc. Philippines is very well know all over the world. How about USA then?

Hard to travel with the little ones. I have a terrible two I will try my hardest to stay away from planes 😅. As far as living in PI… NOT for me and my Caucasian wife. PI is vacation for us and life and love is here in the US. The question is, god forbid, what if something catastrophic happens? My parents wanted to move back for good and we always say no because of that reason. Insurance here in the US is no good in PI.
but you guys, your back in the US only for visiting Family, friends... and then planning go back to the Philippines,for a long(er)time,for(in)the future??

They are american citizens so they need to go back to the US after one year of Balikbayan visa has expired. They will be back soon.
In my view, staying in the US is far better, especially for the welfare and future of your children. Come back to the Philippines only for vacation. Just saying but of course, it all depends on your decision. 😀👍
thanks for supporting our decision and for your concern. We can always go back to the US if needs be but because we still can and still wants to stay in the Philippines we will.
